Chapter 314: Chapter 314: The Death of Bell

Dog-man Reed’s massive body once again raised that millstone-like fist, without any hesitation. The violent power condensed on its stout arm, creating a gust that even blew away the dust on the ground.

Another heavy muffled sound echoed, and the huge fist once again slamd fiercely into Bell’s face, covered by a protective mbrane.

The erald-green light film remained resilient, vibrating and flashing, completely absorbing and neutralizing the terrifying physical impact.

Bell’s head, under the protection of the mbrane, only recoiled slightly, without suffering any substantive harm.

Yet, for Bell, this was a hundred tis more painful than having his skull shattered directly.

He could clearly see Dog-man Reed’s coarse fist magnifying before his eyes, feel the wind from the fist brushing the mbrane, and even imagine the foul stench on the fist.

This blatant, object-like casual battering insult was unbearable for soone like Bell.

However, currently, he couldn’t do anything but accept such humiliation.

An indescribable, extre mix of anger, humiliation, resentnt, and despair erupted like an out-of-control volcano, demolishing the last barriers of Bell’s consciousness.

His only remaining eye was instantly consud by crimson blood streaks, with pupils dilated to the extre, revealing a non-human frenzy as if his blood was completely boiling and reversed flowing at that mont.

A mouthful of viscous, almost pure black turbid blood, mixed with tiny pieces of internal organs, gushed like a fountain wildly from Bell’s mouth.

This blood even carried a scorching breath, splattering violently against the inner wall of the protective mbrane, making a sizzling corrosive sound and leaving shocking dark red stains.

Imdiately, Bell’s body stiffened as if all bones had been extracted, then convulsed violently for several tis.

The bloodshot, insane eye locked relentlessly and venomously onto Duke’s face, with the light in the pupil flickering, fluttering like a candle in the wind... finally extinguished and dispersed completely.

The angry distorted expression on his face was permanently fixed, freezing into a hideous mask filled with endless resentnt and reluctance.

This direct descendant of the Crawford Clan did not die from the fatal sneak attack by his half-brother, nor did he fall due to the altar’s backlash, yet choked to death cruelly under the protection of the mbrane.

"Huh? Dead?" Duke was slightly surprised, having keenly sensed the change within Bell, unexpectedly realizing Bell was literally pissed off to death.

At that mont, a grayish-white energy erged and rose from Bell’s body, then vanished without a trace.

The next mont, an eerie energy, cold, viscous, and carrying a malicious intent, appeared abruptly within Duke’s body, he only felt an intense pain like being burned by a branding iron on the back of his left hand, followed by a chilling malice rushing straight to his spirit sea, trying to contaminate his will.

Duke imdiately captured the energy’s operational trajectory within his body and then barricaded it with his magic power, preventing this energy from circulating freely.

He realized it was a very potent negative energy, highly likely a curse power.

Duke imdiately cast Holy Healing Technique on himself, as it has the effect of dispelling curses.

The curse power within him was instantly weakened a bit, though the effect was not obvious, it seems the Holy Healing Technique couldn’t have much effect.

Duke confined this curse power to the range of his left hand arm, not letting the curse power invade other places within his body.

He didn’t feel much discomfort yet; however, this curse power evidently wasn’t simple, it needed to be resolved quickly.

Duke speculated it might be another ans used by the Crawford Clan, if soone killed their clan mbers, this curse would cling like a boneborne maggot, likely also having tracking and locating functionalities.

"Damn it, didn’t expect such a move." Duke had been very cautious, refraining from acting himself to avoid this kind of occurrence.

Letting Reed take action was to prevent Bell from possibly employing other thods, ensuring that any backlash would only affect Reed.

Unexpectedly, Bell didn’t get killed by Dog-man Reed but ended up being pissed off by Duke.

This led the hidden backlash curse within Bell’s body directly to Duke, and this curse power was quite strong, not easy to clean up in a short ti.

"These ancient wizard clan mbers are such a nuisance." Duke complained, facing such wizards with nurous ans requires more caution in the future.

Bell seed already at the end, yet still had such hidden ans, imagining how tough direct descendants from other powerful wizard factions could be.

Duke felt he had plenty of hidden cards, but clearly, it still was far from enough.

Compared with the background of these ancient wizard clan offspring, his foundations were sowhat lacking, needing continued accumulation and precipitation.

"Need to et up with rrick as soon as possible." Duke thought to himself, glancing at his left arm.

rrick was a wizard adept in the Curse Elent; he should have so ways to resolve this curse.

Duke couldn’t remain in the Eternal Darkness Corridor territory any longer, needing to leave as soon as possible.

Yet the current problem was, he didn’t know rrick’s whereabouts either, likely not finding him anyti soon.

After much thought, Duke felt directly leaving the Void Corridor was the safest option, needing to resolve the curse issue within him urgently.

This curse could definitely be sensed by the Crawford Clan, now ti was everything, cannot delay.

Before leaving, Duke looked at Bell’s corpse, needing to handle it carefully, not leaving any hidden dangers, including surrounding traces, etc.

In fact, traces he left here were minimal, mostly marks from Bell’s battle with Samuel, but still required careful handling.

Duke directly released several Fireball Techniques, burning Bell completely into ashes, and then collected these ashes, letting Storm Dragon Eagle scatter them across various void areas outside the Void Corridor.

Traces related to his presence were also cleaned up, not even the sll remained.

Duke then released a combination spell of Fireball Technique and Tornado, releasing several massive Fire Dragon Tornadoes with raging energy, swallowing every trace here.

The ancient altar had also disappeared, reverting to its original space.

The area here had already beco unrecognizable, Duke erased all traces of his existence.

After finishing these tasks, only then did he let the Storm Dragon Eagle carry him away flying from the Eternal Darkness Corridor territory, preparing to leave the Void Corridor, finding a solution for the curse after exit.

As the Storm Dragon Eagle soared, the fragnted area of Eternal Darkness Corridor was departing underfoot ever further and even moving towards the far distance, gradually disappearing from sight.

This ti, considerable benefits were gained from Bell, simultaneously identifying the entrance area while conducting a tidy count.
