Chapter 257: Chapter 257: Energy Full, Coordinate Recorded
At least Duke still didn’t know how to use the Power of Faith; he had never conducted related research before.
The Oracle Plane clearly lacked relevant materials, so he had to wait until he returned to the Wizard Plane to search for so relevant docunts, which should yield so results.
Just as Duke was puzzled, he suddenly felt the Coordinates Earring move slightly, as if it wanted to absorb this Power of Faith.
He suddenly had so ideas, guiding the Power of Faith to flow into the Coordinates Earring, and the Power of Faith was instantly absorbed.
"So that’s how it is..." Duke understood; he had previously been contemplating what kind of energy the Coordinates Earring absorbed.
If he could figure it out himself, he could recharge it himself, rather than waiting for the energy inside to automatically fill.
He had tried to input Magic Power into it and also attempted to use so alchemy devices to extract energy from magic stones and infuse it into the Coordinates Earring, all to no avail and could not charge the Coordinates Earring.
Unexpectedly, the Power of Faith he obtained by accident could actually charge the Coordinates Earring.
Duke then continuously guided the Power of Faith into the Coordinates Earring, consuming about two-thirds of the Power of Faith before the earring was fully charged.
"It seems the rank of this Coordinates Earring is indeed very high, as it actually requires the Power of Faith to power it," Duke thought to himself.
The Power of Faith is generally only accessible to Level 4 Life forms; ordinary items do not have the qualification to use the Power of Faith.
The Coordinates Earring, as an item capable of traversing nurous planes in the Endless Plane, was indeed not simple, and its grading was unknown.
The Holy Daughter Dali had approached at so point; she looked at Duke, seeming sowhat excited, and said, "You... are you the Child of Light?"
"Child of Light? That shouldn’t be ." Duke shook his head and quickly denied it.
The Holy Daughter Dali seed to stick to her judgnt and said, "Although the God of Light has left, her last ssage indicated that a Child of Light would lead the Light Sect back on track..."
"But that doesn’t necessarily an it’s ," Duke said; he didn’t want to be too entangled with the Light Sect, but now it seems it wasn’t that simple.
Dali smiled and said, "The signs just now indicate that you indeed are that Child of Light. Rest assured, we will not ask you to do anything. On the contrary, I will keep this secret and not let the news get out."
"But if you ever need anything in the future, the Light Sect will definitely give full support."
Although Duke currently seed not to have higher Spiritual Power than her, Dali still believed in the instruction of the God of Light, believing that Duke’s future was bound to be extraordinary.
Duke recalled hearing Dali’s prayers in that space before and felt that nothing was a coincidence, perhaps he was just a pawn arranged by soone else.
However, his current strength was too weak to even determine if he was on the chessboard.
All Duke could do now was to try his best to improve his strength and act according to circumstances for other matters.
Since the Light Sect doesn’t require him to do anything, he was too lazy to deny the identity of the Child of Light; it’s also nice to get so benefits for free.
As for the matters of the future, let them be future concerns; anyway, Duke wouldn’t do anything beyond his abilities.
He glanced at the remaining Power of Faith in his mind and then at the huge statue in front of him, saying, "Can I often co here to pray in the future?"
"Yes, this is your rightful privilege. However, to avoid suspicion, you need to have an identity within the Light Sect, otherwise, it will attract suspicion." Dali said.
Without an identity in the Light Sect, naturally, Duke could not visit Dali in the Light Sect every day.
If soone noticed this, they might think there was sothing between Duke and the Holy Daughter, causing so trouble.
But if he was already a mber of the Light Sect, then praying every day in front of the Divine Statue of Light would be perfectly normal and reasonable.
Duke thought for a mont and nodded, "Okay."
Having an identity within the Light Sect would indeed facilitate his actions in many ways in the future.
Although he would inevitably be drawn into affairs of the Light Sect, it was the only feasible thod.
Duke still needed to co to pray regularly to gain the Power of Faith; he could sense that the Divine Statue did contain the Power of Faith, but frequent prayers were needed to acquire it.
Only during the first prayer could he obtain a large amount of the Power of Faith, and later it would depend on ti accumulation.
He hesitated only for a mont before consuming the energy within the Coordinates Earring to record the coordinates of the Oracle Plane.
For Duke, with the existence of the Coordinates Earring, returning without recording the coordinates was a great loss.
Currently, it seed this world did not have top-tier combat power; the Four Gods Sect was already the top force here, and the strongest was only the Great Mage.
Duke thus inferred that the Oracle Plane was a Low Plane, without individuals above Level 3 life forms.
This was good news for him, as it ant future explorations here would have lower risks, not as perilous as the Nightmare Plane, where he might die from the natural energy waves of unknown creatures at any mont.
Moreover, the Oracle Plane lacked plane suppression effects, so Duke could unleash all of his strength here.
He could completely plan to develop this Oracle Plane into his backyard as his strength gradually grew, extracting its vast potential resources.
Duke did not intend to give the plane coordinates to Black Sail, despite the considerable reward, as it was insignificant compared to the entire plane.
The prospect of monopolizing the plane’s resources would significantly aid his future developnt.
After recording the coordinates of the Oracle Plane, Duke infused the remaining Power of Faith back into the Coordinates Earring.
Once the energy was replenished inside, he could return to the Wood Elf Plane and then from there to the Wizard Plane.
After being away for so long, he was quite concerned about the situation on the Wizard Plane and needed to see how things had fared.
Black Sail should be able to learn that he was still alive since a trace of his soul was recorded when acquiring the Black Sail Badge and could be used to perceive a wizard’s life status, which was a basic thod commonly used by major Wizard Organizations.
As long as Duke was alive, his rights wouldn’t be revoked until it was confird that he was completely deceased.
There have been instances in the past where wizards stranded on other planes spent much ti returning to the Wizard Plane and were still accepted by Black Sail.
Duke’s only consideration was how to quickly accumulate Power of Faith once he returned to the Wizard Plane.
