Chapter 153: Chapter 153: Black Sail Legion

While Duke was practicing his self-created magic, a high-level Black Sail eting started.

In the vast sea within Black Sail, there was a ship, more accurately, a mobile fortress that looked like a ship.

This ship stood on the sea like a small continent, and you couldn’t see the edges of the ship at all.

The owner of the ship was the founder of Black Sail, Level 4 Mage Black Hand Morgan.

He nad this ship the Elizabeth, after the first ship he owned as a pirate.

At the center of the Elizabeth, there was a high tower nad Black Sail Tower.

At this mont, at the top of the Black Sail Tower, there was a round table in a conference room, surrounded by twelve chairs.

If all the mbers were present, eleven would be seated, leaving one chair temporarily unoccupied.

On Academy Island, there are seventy or eighty thousand Wizard Apprentices, which seems like a lot.

But compared to the number of Official Wizards, this number is still quite small.

Currently, Black Sail has 300,000 Official Wizards, spread throughout the Endless Plane, mostly located in planes under Black Sail’s jurisdiction.

For Black Sail, these Official Wizards are their most important force.

Official Wizards have long lifespans, living at least five hundred years once they beco a Level 1 Mage.

If they use certain thods, they can extend their lifespan even further.

Five hundred years is enough to allow many generations of Wizard Apprentices on Academy Island to change.

Black Sail’s loose managent of Academy Island is due to this, and for Black Sail, the reasons behind so Wizard Apprentices’ deaths are not worth investigating.

Every year on Academy Island, many new Official Wizards erge, and the death rate among Official Wizards in Black Sail is steadily decreasing, gradually reaching its current scale.

The 300,000 Official Wizards are divided into ten legions, with each legion having 30,000 mbers, and each legion further divided into multiple battle groups.

All Legion Commanders are at least Level 3 Mages, and each legion often has more than one Level 3 Mage, usually possessing multiple Level 3 Mages.

Furthermore, a Legion Commander is generally at the peak of Level 3 Mage, also known as a Demigod level, just one step away from becoming a Level 4 Mage.

The gap between Demigod level and Level 3 is still vast, similar to the gap between Level 3 Mage and Level 2 Mage.

Apart from Official Wizards, Black Sail also possesses tens of millions of slave creatures, distributed among the dozens of planes they control.

Usually, a slave creature legion consists of 500,000, serving as the vanguard important force for wizards during plane wars.

The Slave Creature Legion is cannon fodder in war; wizards can disregard their casualty rate, filling their strategic objectives with countless slave creature lives.

As Black Sail controls dozens of planes, they have an inexhaustible number of slave creatures and need not worry about their loss.

They use these Slave Creature Legions as shock troops, conquering one plane after another, plundering those planes’ resources, and then transforming the conquered plane’s creatures into slave creatures.

Thus, like a snowball, they continuously develop and strengthen their power.

Many organizations in the Wizard Plane have developed in this way.

Attending the Black Sail eting this ti were Third Corps Commander Swain, Seventh Legion Commander Arnold, and Tenth Legion Commander Adric.

Of course, there was also the ruler of Black Sail, Black Hand Morgan.

Morgan looked just like an ordinary captain, with a bushy beard, wearing simple clothes, a Black Sail insignia embroidered on his chest, with a pipe in his mouth.

Apart from his burly physique, he looked no different from an ordinary person.

If Duke were here, he would surely rember that this was the person who patted him on the shoulder at the Wizard Arena.

Morgan sat at the head of the round table, surrounded by the three Legion Commanders, who also took their seats.

Third Corps Commander Swain was a middle-aged man with a sowhat stern expression, his gaze exceptionally sharp, with a calm temperant.

Seventh Legion Commander Arnold was a bald man, appearing sowhat carefree, wearing heavy black armor.

As for Tenth Legion Commander Adric, he looked more like a noble, with very handso features, wearing traditional noble attire.

If he were said to be an Elf, no one would likely doubt it.

Seeing everyone present, Morgan puffed on his pipe and said, "You all understand the situation, the Seventh and Tenth Legions will go to the Green-skinned Orc Plane, aiming to conquer this plane within a year. The question now is whether to send the Third Legion along?"

Arnold touched his shiny bald head and laughed, "No need, Adric and I are enough; they are just a bunch of primitive beastn, no need to mobilize so many people. Swain is too full of rules; if he cos, I won’t have the pleasure of battle."

Swain was famously cautious in Black Sail, highly skilled in unified command and strategy, with strong leadership abilities.

Whenever Morgan was too busy for Black Sail, Swain was the one managing the overall situation.

Arnold disliked cooperating with Swain because Swain would often set many rules, and his conservative style made Arnold feel restrained.

Though Swain’s strategies often proved right, Arnold still disliked being restricted.

Swain glanced at Arnold and said, "Arnold, don’t underestimate those Green-skinned Orcs. Based on the intelligence we have, they are not so easy to deal with. If taken lightly, we could suffer losses."

"Adric, what do you think?" Morgan turned to ask.

Adric, with his noble deanor, seed not very interested in the eting and simply said, "Let Swain’s Third Legion join us; I can’t control Arnold, but he can."

Adric’s thought was simple; he didn’t want to clean up Arnold’s ss nor waste words with this brute.

If Swain were involved, he could relax more, handing over many matters directly to Swain.

Arnold imdiately showed dissatisfaction, having guessed that Adric would say this.

The two were originally at odds, neither liking the other, and Arnold couldn’t understand why Morgan insisted on sending the two of them to complete this plane-opening war together.

Adding the annoying Adric to the botherso Swain, Arnold found this operation unpleasant from the start.

Morgan didn’t mind Arnold’s obvious dissatisfaction; he turned to Swain, who imdiately understood and said, "Then I will lead the Third Legion to participate in this operation."
