Wizard: Start with Biological Transformation to Grind Experience Chapter 630 - 34: His Name Is
After a long silence, a deep, soul-wrenching sigh broke the suffocating stillness.
"You are... absolutely right, Holy Daughter." Blair’s voice had lost its previous reverence, leaving only a profound weariness and bitter honesty. He raised his head, his gray eyes no longer concealing the complexities within—regret, pain, and a belated, chilling awakening.
"We..." He paused, as if uttering these words required great strength, "...the Pureblood Families... once arrogantly believed ourselves to be born noble. We regarded our bloodline as the asure of all things, and knowledge as our exclusive preserve."
His gaze did not shy away from Julia’s calm stare, as if forcing himself to confront that sugar-coated, sordid past.
"We built high walls, isolating the paths upward. We blinded ourselves with arrogance and prejudice, ignoring the burning desire for power and dignity, the sa as ours, yet perhaps more pure and fervent, in those we called ’Muggles’ beyond our walls."
"We thought those barriers were unbreakable, believed that oppression was justified. We were intoxicated by false prosperity and dreams of eternal rule, unable to see the kindling piled beneath us, unable to see the sparks igniting in the darkness..."
His voice lowered, carrying a fatalistic heaviness, "...Erodion... he... no, it should be said, we ourselves lit the blaze that could consu everything. The Freemasonry Church was rely the outlet for a rage suppressed for centuries."
He put down the priceless Dawn’s Holy Dew, as if the sacred glimr now seed a mockery. He straightened his back a little and looked straight at Julia on the throne, his eyes filled with unprecedented seriousness and a hint of almost desolate sincerity:
"Holy Daughter, I do not represent all Purebloods, nor can I represent the past tis. But at least I... and so of the families who have realized their mistakes behind , we have seen the errors of our past, seen that the collapse of the high walls stems from the decay at their foundation."
"We do not beg for rcy, but rather... hope for a chance to make ands."
"A chance to rebuild on the ruins a future that is at least not so filled with hatred and destruction. We need help, we need power like yours, like the Lord of Erald, to prevent complete destruction and endless cycles of revenge."
Blair’s words echoed in the vast Holy Temple, carrying a weary and sincere tone stripped of disguise. He was no longer the emissary representing family interests, but rather a lost soul, awakened in the torrent of ti, seeking a last chance at redemption.
It was clear his attitude was sincere, and his voice equally earnest.
However,
What did this have to do with Julia?
"Yawn!"
She lazily yawned, "I’m not really interested in your conflicts."
The light rapidly dimd in Blair’s eyes, visible to the naked eye.
"Is that so..."
He smiled bitterly, "Then, we’ve intruded, I hereby apologize on behalf of the Jomans family and all Wizard Families."
Actually, from the mont he recognized Julia, he had little hope for this journey.
After all, he was fully aware of how they used to regard soone like Julia, treating her as less than human.
Now that their roles were reversed, and she was the one in the higher position, Blair introspected, thinking it was quite good enough that she did not side with the Freemasonry Church to accuse them.
He then stood up, bowed deeply to Julia, "Then, we shall not disturb you further. It’s an honor to et you, Holy Daughter."
With that, he bowed once more and prepared to turn and leave.
"Wait."
Just then, Julia’s voice ca from behind him.
Blair turned his head, asking in confusion, "Is there sothing else, Holy Daughter?"
Julia took a sip of the Holy Dew, then replied unhurriedly, "Regarding the alliance and support, I have not expressed a refusal, so why are you in such a hurry to leave?"
Blair was startled.
He asked in confusion, "But you just..."
Wasn’t it that she wasn’t interested?
Julia propped her right elbow on her thigh, supporting her chin with her right hand.
As Julia herself, she surely had no interest in getting involved with the affairs of the Ancient Ruins place.
In the past, she was always on that land, brainwashed and influenced by those foolish Wizard Families, always believing that the rules were as such, that those Purebloods should be held high, while muggles like her should grovel before them.
Back then, not being on the sa level as them, even when oppressed, she wouldn’t think much, nor would she have any feelings of wrongful vengeance seeing them fall.
But now that she’s risen in status and her horizon broadened, looking back at those days simply seed like living less than animals, it wouldn’t be an overstatent to say. Not a single one of those Wizard Families seems to be a good thing.
Now seeing them fallen to such a plight, Julia wished them even more demise, where would she have any interest in allying with or supporting them?
However...
Julia said leisurely, "I’m not interested, but that doesn’t an others aren’t."
After all, the Jade Land isn’t solely her decision, as the Holy Daughter of Light she appears like she’s below one but above all in the grand Church Court, but she’s very clear on what her position truly is, clarified after past experiences even if not before...
This land has always had only one master.
And unfortunately, if she rembered correctly, this master seed to have so connections with this senior Blair in front of her.
More importantly,
Julia knew clearly that among these Wizard Families, there were people the master truly cared about.
She paused, then continued, "For example... whether the Lord of Erald supports you, it’s entirely his decision."
"The Lord of Erald?"
Blair was taken aback. Of course, his ultimate goal here was to et the Lord of Erald, but now unable to even pass the Holy Daughter of Light’s gate, he didn’t dare to think further.
But... now the aning of this Holy Daughter is that he could directly et the Lord of Erald?
Blair asked in confusion, "I don’t quite understand what you an."
Julia shrugged, "It’s okay if you don’t understand, you’ll know when you see him, since you know each other, you can directly talk with him about any issues."
"Know each other?"
Blair was stunned, unbelievably said, "You an ? And the Lord of Erald? Know each other?"
He was a bit dazed, he was just a small Mid-level Wizard, while the Lord of Erald was a Third-tier Domain Level figure, a powerful presence with a seat in the Supre Council.
Not to ntion it was his first tis in the Jade Land, even the few Third-tier figures in the Ancient Ruins were beyond his reach.
How could he possibly have the chance to know such a prominent figure?
Before he could wrap his mind around, Julia spoke again, and with a simple sentence, left him dumbstruck.
Julia said, "Saphiros Alsaas Diablo, this na you surely don’t recognize, but if I tell you another of his nas? Would you be familiar then?"
"His na is—"
She paused, then articulated, "Lynch Valen."
