Wizard: Start with Biological Transformation to Grind Experience Chapter 554 - 13: Domain Fragment
"So that’s it. No wonder it was able to destroy my defenses. Was it the power of the Domain?"
After pondering for a mont, Lynch couldn’t help but observe carefully.
An opportunity to directly touch the power of the Domain like this was rare.
A wisp of faint, almost imperceptible green energy lingered at his fingertips, carefully imprisoned within a tiny Space Barrier between his fingertips. In the depths of his gray pupils, Elental Vision quietly activated, and the facade of the world receded like the tide, leaving only the most fundantal and pure torrent of elental particles.
Under Elental Vision, the seemingly gentle and harmless green energy instantly revealed its ferocious nature!
It was not simply Wood Elent Life Energy, but more like an extrely subtle, structurally peculiar "Corrosive Solvent." Its core was not a familiar arrangent of elental particles, but rather... a destructive rule manifested!
Lynch held his breath and focused, infinitely magnifying his observation scale, delving into the microscopic level of elental structure. He saw:
The elental particles, initially stable and lively, that were touched by the green energy, had their most core "nuclei"—a microstructure similar to a rule anchor that maintained particle stability—struck by a specific frequency of oscillation waves contained within the green energy.
"Crack!"
As if a silent fracture resounded at the microscopic level! The nuclei structures of the struck elental particles were instantly covered with cobweb-like black cracks representing the rules of decay! These cracks were not physical damage but "pollution" and "necrosis" at the level of the rules!
Imdiately, a terrifying chain reaction ensued!
The decay of the nuclei spread like a deadly virus at the speed of light through the entire elental particle. The particle’s vibrant luster extinguished in an instant, becoming dim and gray, its structure beginning to loosen and disintegrate.
Even more terrifyingly, this state of decay was highly contagious! Once the nucleus of a particle was destroyed and decayed, the fragnts of decay rules it emitted would spread like a plague, infecting all nearby elental particles!
In Lynch’s Elental Vision, where the green energy passed, the microscopic world was enacting a silent plague of destruction: one elental particle after another was "spotted" into decayed black, then themselves beca new sources of infection, spreading the decay wildly.
Originally composed of stable elental particles, the extrely sturdy spell structure (be it shield or Space Barrier), had its microscopic foundation thoroughly disintegrated and collapsed in this exponentially exploding plague of decay from the core!
This was not about energy clashing or canceling out! This was a forced decay of the fundantal units—the elental particles—that constituted the world’s existence! It was a direct act on the rule level, a highly sophisticated destructive elental arrangent!
"I see!"
Lynch touched his chin, quickly grasping the logical principle of this Domain setup.
"Ignoring defenses... because it doesn’t attack the energy strength of a spell but the ’foundation’ of its existence! It uses the rules of ’decay’ to destroy from the most microscopic elent nucleus, unraveling any structures composed of elents."
"Causing them to collapse and disintegrate from the inside! Is this... the true manifestation of the Domain Level Power of Decay?"
At the sa ti, a system prompt sounded by his ear:
"Knowledge category [Decaying Domain (Fragnt)] has been loaded."
[Decaying Domain lv0: 1/10000]
Lynch was stunned.
Could it be that the Domain inheritance is here?
This greatly exceeded Lynch’s expectations. He originally thought the Rotten Wood Elder would place the domain at the trial’s end, but does this an he set up the inheritance of the Decaying Domain throughout the entire Trial Road?
"The way to obtain Domain inheritance... is quite ingenious indeed."
Perhaps the Domain inheritance is packaged within the monsters encountered along the way, or sothing else, aiming for Trialists to acquire the inheritance step by step by defeating these monsters and passing checkpoints?
"What is this Rotten Wood Elder thinking..."
Lynch always felt the purpose of this trial wasn’t so simple. Although he couldn’t see clearly what it was yet, it was best to proceed with caution.
With these thoughts in his mind, Lynch continued on his journey.
Right after Lynch left, the Forest quickly returned to its silence, but this quiet was soon broken.
"Rustle!" First, a faint rustling sound ca, and then a strange plant broke through the soil.
It was a grass, standing at a height up to one’s calf, and atop the grass bizarrely grew an eyeball.
This eyeball rotated and looked in Lynch’s direction, and then the root split open into a mouth, emitting a chilling voice: "Interesting, Ti Rule, a rare cultivation path, able to reach the level of secret skill, really extraordinary. Wasn’t the last one who extended the Ti Rule to this extent that old fugitive? What do you think, Karija?"
Soon after this voice fell, a figure abruptly appeared in the Forest. It was a middle-aged man wearing a gray cloak, with a structure-clear, orderly layered Hexagram pattern on the cloak’s chest.
This pattern is known as the Order Hexagram, and in the entire Wizard World, only one place uses this pattern—
The Tower of Order.
The middle-aged man nad Karija gazed in the direction where Lynch left: "You’re talking about that old fellow researching Ti Alchemy, right? Indeed, few could cultivate Ti Law to this level, capable of manipulating ti spells at will. Seeing it once leaves an unforgettable impression."
The grass nodded in agreent: "Indeed, seeing that guy at the Tower really gave a start. I couldn’t believe there was such a powerful existence in the world. I really don’t know how the Tower managed to catch him."
Karija said: "I heard several Truths acted together, yet even so, it ca at no small cost. Lord Gulines aged terribly from that ti forward, and even now is said to still be resisting the ti that was stolen, all because of what he did."
The grass exclaid: "Even the mighty Truths had their ti stolen... if it were us, tsk, tsk, tsk... The mysterious Ti Law, I really wonder where that guy is now?"
Karija replied: "I don’t know. Since he escaped from the Tower, no one has known his whereabouts. Perhaps he’s hiding in so corner, continuing to study that device of his, said to be able to distort ti at will. I don’t know if such a thing can really be made, but if it’s him, maybe there’s a chance."
"That guy called the Ti Elder..."
