The entire block was instantly thrown into an unprecedented uproar.

Ever since Julia ticulously divided the hierarchical system of the Light Church Court, even ordinary bishops were not easily accessible to the believers, let alone soone of the stature of the Holy Daughter of Light.

Just look at the scene in the Light Cathedral—a prestigious bishop like Yodel could only catch a glimpse of Julia from 20 paces away.

Now watching the noble Holy Daughter of Light arrive in their remote town, how could the ordinary believers control their emotions?

"Oh my God!"

"The Saintess, it’s the Holy Daughter of Light!"

"Your Grace, the Saintess!"

The crowd surged toward the center of the road, and even though the soldiers around were trying their best, they were nearly knocked over.

Seeing the situation about to spiral out of control, the carriage in the center of the road slowed down. Then, the curtain at the window was lifted, revealing the face of a beautiful young girl.

She smiled, raised her hand, and waved to the people on the street, "I am Julia of the Light Church. I’m pleased to be in Dusk Town and to et you all. I’ve felt your devotion, and I will pass it along to the goddess so that she may bless you."

A simple sentence, but if listened to carefully, one could even sense a hint of perfunctoriness within.

Yet with just that light remark, the street erupted in a new wave of climax.

"Thank you, thank you, Your Grace, the Saintess!"

"Thank the Light Goddess!"

"You have co to this place, your holy feet have touched this land. Oh, God! Am I dreaming?"

The people were tearful and knelt on the ground.

So were flushed red, excited beyond control, as if they were delirious.

Others even fainted directly.

This scene left Lynch at the side of the street sowhat dumbfounded.

"Is it really necessary..."

Even though all these events were orchestrated by him, after building the frawork of the church, he rarely managed it, leaving its subsequent developnt to the church itself.

Throughout the years, he was of course aware that the church was thriving with many believers, but he rarely participated in collective church activities.

At this mont, seeing these ordinary people display such fanaticism, not even in his Witch Domain but in what could be considered a foreign land, honestly, it was sowhat beyond Lynch’s expectations.

"This is the power of faith!" a voice sounded beside him.

In front of a tavern by the roadside, a middle-aged man with a felt hat and scruffy beard held a bottle of wine, drinking while watching the tumultuous street ahead.

He said half-jokingly, "Ignorant humans don’t know the truth of this chaotic world and fear it. At this point, a voice erges with seemingly reasonable rhetoric, pretending to guide them."

"Fools don’t ponder whether the path is truly as it is claid, whether it is real. They just rush headlong in that direction."

"And this person is of course treated as if he were a god."

A rare mont of clarity in the human world.

The middle-aged man took a sip of wine, then wiped his mouth with his hand, continuing, "Just curious how this manipulator of faith will end up—the power of faith is not so easily controlled."

Lynch raised his eyebrows, his gaze falling on the frenzied, or even crazed, crowd ahead.

The middle-aged man was right.

Faith is not easy to control; historically, those who delved into the Wizard System of faith mostly t with failure, even though to this day there are still wizards who tread this path, the successful ones are indeed unseen.

Most wizards who pursued the path of faith didn’t end well—either they were backfired by faith, ntally collapsing and going insane, or they abandoned their faith accumulated over years, resetting everything...

What would be his own outco?

Lynch wasn’t sure,

but he didn’t directly absorb the Power of Faith—he manufactured a container to harbor it, controlling the Power of Faith by controlling the container.

This should be fine, right?

Should... be?

Shaking his head, Lynch withdrew from his chaotic thoughts, took out a Magic Map and checked it, then turned and walked in a direction.

This trip was to train ssiah, but it wasn’t entirely for training—he also had an appointnt with a friend here for a rather important matter...

The convoy slowly moved on.

The curtain on the carriage window fell back down.

At the mont the curtain closed, Julia’s smile gradually faded.

She relished the feeling of being worshipped from on high, yet at the sa ti loathed and resented the common folk getting too close. However, as the face of the church, she had to put on a welcoming smile.

Julia turned, her tone slightly displeased, to question Yodel opposite her: "Didn’t you communicate with the local lord ahead of our visit? Why are there still so many people on the street when we entered the city?"

Yodel wiped the sweat from his forehead with silk, quickly responding, "Your Grace, the Saintess, this is my oversight. I didn’t anticipate the locals being so... enthusiastic."

"But please forgive their recklessness—after all, this isn’t the Land of Scarlet Fla. Many here are seeing your holy presence for the first ti. To them, your arrival is akin to a visit from the goddess."

Upon hearing Yodel’s explanation, Julia’s expression eased a bit.

Yodel then inquired, "So... should we cancel the originally planned mass?"

The predecessors proved that mass is one of the best ways to pave the way for faith—the first Holy Daughter Alya made the Light Church penetrate deeply into people’s hearts and grow into this great enterprise through a mass.

Thus, in their previous plan, they intended to hold a mass in this virgin land that has not yet felt the Light Goddess’s gospel.

Julia shook her head, "No need, continue as planned."

She was no longer the wizard who played in the mud but a Church Priest spreading divine gospel under divine command, the high Holy Daughter of Light. It was appropriate to show divine power to the ignorant masses.

Of course, she knew that all the Light Goddess talk was concocted by Lynch to fool idiots, but it didn’t hinder her ambition to make more people believe.

After all,

She was the best spokesperson for the Light Goddess herself. Whatever the goddess says, doesn’t it ultimately depend on her?
