"Shall we continue?"

Standing poignantly in the wind and snow, Lynch asked calmly, while the icy blades swirling around seed to be considered insignificant.

Kalsa was silent for a mont.

Then she closed her eyes and waved her arm.

And with her movents, the wind and snow that filled the hall quickly subsided, and the previously low temperatures instantly returned to normal.

Lynch praised, "As expected of the Frost Witch, the ability to control temperature with ease is truly eye-opening."

Kalsa wore a slight smile on her face, "Compared to the elusive thods of Master Saphiro, my spells are insignificant."

Until now, she still couldn’t understand how Lynch managed to completely ignore her attacks.

The comrcial pleasantries ended here, and it was ti to talk business.

Kalsa sat back in her chair and directly asked, "Tell , what kind of cooperation do you propose?"

Lynch didn’t imdiately disclose his intentions. Instead, he pulled out several Space Pockets from his body and, with a flick of his hand, the pockets floated to Kalsa, the Witch.

He said, "Before coming here, I brought a small gift for you, dear Witch, please accept it."

Kalsa took the pockets, scanned them quickly with her Spiritual Sea, and her eyes widened instantly.

"Moonlight Mushrooms?"

What was inside the Space Pockets were none other than the Moonlight Mushrooms they most needed.

Lynch said, "This should be enough to show my sincerity, right?"

Having slapped her with a complint, it was ti to offer sweet dates. Lynch hadn’t co here to cause trouble; the Moonlight Mushrooms he had privately collected were now a gift for the alliance.

The admiration in Kalsa’s eyes grew stronger.

Lynch had just demonstrated his strength to her, and now he was offering Moonlight Mushrooms. Even if she wanted to nitpick, there were no flaws to be found.

However...

Kalsa, the Witch, frowned and said, "Regarding the alliance you ntioned... Pardon my frankness, it’s not that I don’t want to, but I have my difficulties..."

She paused, then candidly said, "The Witch Castle has always been pacifist; we don’t want to stir up trouble. If you want us to help you deal with the Dark Moon Church, frankly speaking, it’s not feasible."

The actions of the Dark Moon Church were getting more aggressive, and Kalsa was fully aware of the friction between them and Feiyan City.

Lynch had repeatedly invited them to ally, but Kalsa kept finding excuses to avoid getting involved in their conflicts.

However, Lynch’s persistence was unexpected for her.

Kalsa said, "The most I can promise you is that whatever conflict arises between you and the Dark Moon Church, we will definitely not intervene."

Lynch slightly frowned; this was clearly not what he wanted.

But he knew that this couldn’t be rushed. After all, from her perspective, staying neutral was most beneficial; there was no pressing need to stand with Lynch, and simply bluffing wouldn’t work.

However, it wasn’t a big deal; he could establish contact first, and later find ways to draw them into his plans. As long as a collaboration was established, there would be opportunities to get them involved.

With this in mind, Lynch slightly nodded and agreed temporarily, "Alright."

Kalsa’s brows relaxed slightly, and she accepted the Moonlight Mushrooms from Lynch, "Then, thank you very much."

Lynch said, "So, can we discuss cooperation next?"

Kalsa nodded, "As long as it’s not related to the Dark Moon Church, we can discuss other directions."

Lynch said, "Of course, I wouldn’t force anyone."

He paused, then continued, "Besides bringing Moonlight Mushrooms for the Frost Witch, I hope you can allow the witches in your castle to join my team and send them to the Adventurer Guild."

Lynch’s team of Transcendents was still too small, numbering just a little over a thousand.

Apart from the numbers, the key issue was that this batch of transcendents was selected and trained since he took over Feiyan City, barely over a decade ago, and their strength was still quite limited.

Now, the exploration of Underground City has reached a bottleneck stage. Although several Underground Cities have been explored, they mostly remain at a Low-level stage, and the knowledge fragnts excavated are mostly below Wizard Level.

To unearth deeper knowledge fragnts, exploring higher-level Underground Cities is necessary, but the problem is that the Dead Spirits and Magic Creations in those places are too powerful. The current adventurers’ level alone isn’t enough.

The limits for ordinary humans are set, and even the Knight Breathing thod at its peak only reaches Great Knight, with Three-dinsional Attributes of around one hundred.

However, the Dead Spirits and monsters in those high-level Underground Cities are above Wizard Level, with Three-dinsional Attributes often reaching hundreds, or even thousands or tens of thousands... like the Bone Dragon, whose Dragon Breath can turn any adventurer to ashes.

Relying solely on ordinary adventurers to continue exploring won’t work; Lynch needs to introduce stronger forces. In this world, what could be a stronger force than wizardry?

Kalsa said, "The Adventurer Guild?"

She asked, "Does Master Saphiro want my witches to assist you in excavating Underground City ruins?"

Lynch nodded, "That’s correct."

Kalsa hesitated for a mont, "This can be considered..."

But then, she looked at Lynch with a puzzled expression, "But I don’t understand, what is your purpose in being so persistent in exploring the Underground City?"

For ten thousand years, it has been excavated by various wizard powers, including the current Four Great Witch Realms, and apart from those moldy bodies and bones, all that’s left is so worthless old antiques.

Yes, there is valuable knowledge wealth left from the Acadica Era, but that knowledge is fragnted, like a complete book shredded into pieces by a paper shredder. It’s unlikely to be restored; otherwise, it wouldn’t have remained until now.

Kalsa said, "If it’s for knowledge... From what I know, after years of excavation, Master Saphiro’s only achievent seems to have been creating so short-distance Space Transmission Scrolls, despite only discovering one or two spatial coordinates, right?"

Kalsa said confusedly, "I really don’t understand, what exactly attracts you there?"

This question was quite on point.

It’s also sothing almost every wizard in Jade Land finds perplexing.
