The witch walking into the city at this mont is none other than Julia, who had once crossed paths with Lynch in the Ancient Ruins and was born into the Court of Burgundy Kingdom.

Due to the overwhelming hunt movent in the Ancient Ruins, Julia had no choice but to flee the land with her companions.

This truly was a very difficult journey.

They first struggled greatly to finally escape the pursuit of the Freemasonry Church and enter the Ruins, but arriving in the Ruins didn’t an they were safe; quite the contrary, it was only the beginning of their nightmare.

The Ruins is no peaceful amusent park, with countless powerful Magic Creatures and dangers everywhere.

Lynch was able to traverse the Ruins easily because he possessed powerful Second Tier Strength, but for apprentices like Julia and her companions, it wasn’t so easy. Not to ntion the giant centipede Lynch had taken down, which they couldn’t possibly handle.

The party entering the Ruins had three mbers, but shortly after entering, one was eaten by a Cannibal Flower, and another lost their life inhaling poison while crossing the swamp.

Julia had originally thought she might die there too, but fortunately, at that ti, she encountered other teams also fleeing from the Ancient Ruins.

Thus, they wandered together in the Ruins, and this wander lasted for many years.

Through mountains and waters, crossing mountains and ridges, the journey was truly difficult. Everyone was just Wizard Apprentices, the most skilled only had Mid-level Strength, with few spells, and even basic food problems troubled them on the journey.

Fortunately, they stuck together, supporting each other and solving problems as a team, barely managing to traverse the Ruins.

Only recently did they finally manage to cross the Ruins, arriving at the land of the Erald Land.

At this mont, they encountered several groups of adventurers heading to the Underground City, and soon learned about Fla City. After discussion, decided to go to Fla City first and plan from there.

Now, walking on the streets of Fla City, everyone’s emotions were clearly quite excited.

Back in the Ancient Ruins, everyone lived in the Wizard Tower, occasionally venturing into human towns for so air, but since leaving the Ancient Ruins, they had been roaming in barren Ruins, and hadn’t seen a thriving human town like this in years.

"It’s... really big here!"

"Indeed, I’ve never seen such a large town, densely packed with people everywhere, and we’ve only heard this is the outer city... how many people must live here..."

"And it’s so prosperous, I’ve never seen a town with so many goods on the streets anywhere else."

Everyone was amazed by the scene before them.

Human towns in the Ancient Ruins were generally small and developed relatively backward. Seeing a place like Fla City was a first for them, and they felt like country bumpkins entering the city.

"What’s that thing over there? Looks like it’s delicious."

At this mont, a girl was attracted by the pastries in a roadside bakery.

"Let’s buy so."

Everyone was already hungry, so they all headed over.

The girl approached, pointed at the pastries on display in the window, and asked, "Auntie, how much is this?"

The shop owner, a middle-aged woman with a kindly face, didn’t show disdain despite their shabby clothes but warmly introduced, "This is our new pastry, 20 copper coins each. Would you like so?"

Being Transcendents, they had little concept of money. The girl casually pulled out so Gold Coins from her pocket and handed them over, "Please give each of us one, and keep the change."

However, the middle-aged woman looked at the coins with furrowed brows, "Sorry, but this money won’t buy anything here."

The girl was puzzled, "What?"

Lacking conceptual understanding was one thing, but they could do basic math—a bread was only 20 copper coins, with six people in total not costing much, and she had given several Gold Coins already. Wasn’t it enough?

Auntie patiently explained, "This money can’t be used here; usable money must be like this."

She took out several copper coins from under the counter and handed them to the girl. The coins bore a peculiar symbol and glowed faintly with bright yellow Light when touched.

The apprentices were shocked, "Elent!"

This conspicuous mark only appeared on Magic Items. As the blue light flashed, they felt a Spiritual Field from it, suggesting the coin might involve Magic Stones or similar Magic ans.

The apprentices felt a bit troubled, as they certainly did not have such currency.

Auntie noticed their predicant and asked, "You’re from out of town, aren’t you?"

The apprentices nodded, "Yes."

Auntie generously distributed six pastries to the apprentices, "Take them, I’m giving them to you."

Fla City often received refugees from other noble territories, and Auntie evidently classified these apprentices with those refugees.

After a pause, Auntie continued, "Even ordinary people can live well here in Fla City. You can try to find work at the Adventurer Guild, and if you can’t find anything, you can also go to the Church for free food."

Upon hearing "Church," Julia’s expression slightly changed, "Church?"

The other apprentices also showed signs of fear.

Experiences in the Ancient Ruins made them instinctively terrified upon hearing "Church."

An apprentice quickly asked, "Which Church?"

Auntie asked with puzzlent, "The Light Church, why?"

The apprentices’ expressions improved sowhat.

Then, they started to feel confused.

Adventurer Guild, Church—these terms were unfamiliar to them, as was this copper coin. This was clearly an Extraordinary Item, so how could soone apply Extraordinary Power to currency? What was the situation in this city?

They looked at each other, and a young man went up to inquire, "Excuse , ma’am..."

They had many questions about this city they wanted to understand.

Soon, with the kind explanation from Auntie, they got a further understanding of this city...
