Within the tower surrounded by the power of nature.

"...I never thought there would be such a day. The teacher I respected and regarded as a parent, his dedicated teaching and thoughtful care for were all false. Everything was just a disguise, a ploy for the pair of Eyes of Death God."

In the spacious great hall, Alfred was recounting his past to the Lord of Nature and the wizards within the tower.

Standing below, Yina listened with a heavy heart, her eyes slightly red.

However, Alfred himself appeared quite open, not showing any sadness or despair in the face of such an experience, but rather said expansively:

"He was my teacher. He didn’t need to do all this."

"If he wanted it, he could have just asked ."

"I could give him everything, what does a re pair of eyes matter?"

He seed like a true warrior, as if he could stand unyielding even amidst the violent storm.

"You an...your ntor was swallowed by darkness before completing the dark sacrifice because of the magic backlash, ultimately failing to take your eyes?" The Lord of Nature, Felvin, asked sowhat puzzled after hearing Alfred’s account.

Al nodded, with a sad expression: "I am also very sad. I tried to save him, but my power was insufficient, unable to reclaim my ntor from the darkness...This is the greatest regret of my life..."

Felvin wanted to ask more, but Yina could no longer stand it: "Grandfather!"

Her delicate eyebrows knitted, and she said angrily: "His experience is already so sad; why do you still have to reveal others’ scars? Didn’t I tell you? If not for this gentleman Alfred saving today, I would have been crushed by the Forest Giant!"

Hearing Yina’s words, Felvin didn’t hesitate any longer and nodded, saying to a wizard below: "Alright, send a notice to both the Supre Council and the Shadow Tower. I have decided to offer protection to Wizard Al Fredo."

"From today onwards, His Excellency is one of us in the Tower of Nature, and even in the Jade Land."

Alfred thanked sincerely: "Thank you."

...

Thus, Alfred settled down in the Tower of Nature.

Pictures flashed by continually, followed by so everyday mories.

A young girl arranged a place for Alfred and then had a few chance encounters at night in the courtyard where Alfred lived. Alfred carefully explained so magic knowledge to her, and the young girl frequently visited Al’s residence to earnestly seek guidance from him afterward.

They discussed magic together, went on outings into the forest together, listened to Alfred’s past life experiences, and attentively heard the young girl’s daily trivial emotions...

Their relationship grew closer day by day in these ordinary daily interactions, with hardly any surprise.

On a night with a bright moon and gentle breeze.

Alfred’s fingers traced over a yellowed star track chart, ancient runes etched by pale blue magical flas on parchnt.

"Are you studying Moonflower Astrology?"

A hand abruptly reached out and seized the parchnt Alfred had just inscribed.

The young girl suddenly appeared beside Alfred, playfully winking at him, while glancing at the parchnt: "Let see what you are divining about..."

Her voice abruptly stopped there.

This was because she suddenly discovered that the parchnt was filled with her na.

"Ah!"

The young girl scread.

Alfred said helplessly: "I originally intended to hide this secret, but I accidentally let you find out. I apologize, my admiration for you is my own decision; you need not be troubled by it, I will not make you uncomfortable."

The young girl’s cheeks flushed slightly. She lightly bit her pearl white teeth, shyly stating: "Actually... you can be bolder."

Alfred was startled.

"Hehe, Alfred, you big fool!"

The young girl laughed and ran off.

At this point, everything naturally fell into place, and Alfred and this descendant of the Lord of Nature ca together seamlessly.

And with this relationship, plus Alfred’s own ambition and effort, he truly thrived in the Tower of Nature, with his career advancing by leaps and bounds.

First, he was promoted to the youngest elder in the Tower of Nature, then quickly elevated to the position of a Witch Master, specifically managing a Wizard Tower, and eventually, at one point, even beca one of the 13 rulers of the Tower of Nature.

This was equivalent to the rank of a Judge in the Shadow Tower, a position second only to that of Witch Master Felvin in the Tower of Nature.

And unlike the power-dispersed Ancient Ruins, the Jade Land’s Witch Domain at that ti was monopolized by the Tower of Nature, which ant that the authority and status of these rulers were even stronger than that of the Judges of the Shadow Tower.

With status and position attained, resources corresponding to it were sent endlessly into Alfred’s hands, and he did not disappoint the expectations of the Tower of Nature, advancing to the level of a High-level Wizard within a few decades!

Theoretically, with things progressing to this point, everything was developing in a positive direction. As long as he proceeded steadily along this path, advancing to the Second Tier or even higher levels in the future would only be a matter of ti, potentially even offering an opportunity to cleanse his past troubled life.

However, so people seem inherently evil. No matter how much goodwill others show him, his soul will never be ward by it. A heart filled with greed and malice will stop at nothing to achieve its goals.

Soon after, an incident occurred where the Jade Land’s Witch Domain clashed with another neighboring Witch Domain, [Kassen Corridor].

Due to many historical causes, the two domains had been feuding for a long ti, with nurous large and small conflicts occurring frequently.

Mostly over trivial matters, most of the ti it ended with so agitation before giving a statent to each level to quell the situation; using Earth as an example, it was sowhat like the relationship between India and Pakistan.

Thus, when facing such issues, both sides typically maintained a certain tacit understanding, seeming to put up a great show of preparation and deploynt even though it was just a lot of noise with little action, quelling down after a while.

With so many precedents, the Tower of Nature didn’t pay much attention, proceeding as usual by summoning wizards and mobilizing the army, organizing everything as it should be, with both sides gearing up along the border as they had many tis before, as if preparing for combat.

The wizard responsible for conflicts in the past had aged, and with Alfred now heavily relied upon by the Lord of Nature, he naturally beca the general manager of this war.

Being the general manager essentially just offered him a chance to show his face, in reality all the wizards, knights of both sides knew war was impossible and they were just going through the motions.

Indeed, everything progressed like before, with both sides engaging in so minor skirmishes at the border and then starting to arrange the signing of a ceasefire agreent.

At this stage, things were pretty much settled.

Hence, the Witch Master of the Tower of Nature didn’t pay too much attention. After explaining everything that needed explaining, he entered the cultivation room for closed-door cultivation.

And it was during his closed door cultivation that an unexpected event occurred.

Alfred,

The general manager of this war on Jade Land’s side, during the signing of the ceasefire agreent with Kassen Corridor...

Suddenly led people to slaughter the leadership group on Kassen Corridor’s side.

Then issued a full-scale attack order.

War, erupted completely!
