After becoming a wizard, apprentices have a rigid requirent to acquire the next stage of ditation rules: they must engage in a union with a wizard family.

At that point, the wizard completes the transformation from a Muggle Mudblood to a noble Pureblood, becoming a mber of the ruling class of this land.

Logically speaking, arrangents for Lynch’s union should have begun long ago, particularly since his advancent as a wizard at such a young age indicates imnse potential for further progression, making him a prominent target for marriage alliances among wizard families.

And that’s exactly how things stood.

From the mont Lynch’s advancent was reported to the Tower, news of it spread through various channels, reaching all major wizard families. These families imdiately began gathering young won within their ranks to arrange marriage prospects.

However, the subsequent delay in executing these plans was largely due to Avery.

Before other wizard families could formally et Lynch, Avery made a public declaration through her family, stating that Lynch’s marriage alliance must involve the Cavendish family. With this decree, other families refrained from further probing.

No matter how precious an outstanding prospect might be, provoking the Cavendish family isn’t worth the risk.

Avery blocked the other wizard families, yet she herself couldn’t proceed with the next steps of the union—

She wouldn’t tolerate the sight of her family pairing Lynch with another young woman, yet her unique status within her family precluded the possibility of her personally marrying Lynch. As a result, Lynch’s union has remained indefinitely postponed.

"I’m sorry."

Avery, filled with self-reproach, said, "It’s all because of ."

Lynch calmly ran his fingers through her hair and replied indifferently, "There’s no need to apologize for that."

Lynch himself wasn’t particularly enthusiastic about the union rule.

Primarily because marriage alliances required signing mountains of binding agreents that restricted nurous aspects of a wizard’s life, essentially tethering them permanently to this land and ensuring lifelong servitude to the family.

Clauses like a millennium-long commitnt were among the lesser terms of the stack of agreents waiting for signature.

If Lynch hadn’t acquired the Deep ditation Laws, there’d be no argunt. Whether the agreent demanded servitude for a millennium or an eternity, one would have to sign it before contemplating the next steps.

But now that Lynch had the Deep ditation thod, signing such agreents would be a loss.

He thought negotiations were warranted, whether the arrangent involved an unfamiliar woman or even Avery herself—he didn’t believe marriage should be a ans to chain him here.

Simply put, for Lynch, their current dynamic was ideal—free from constraints, with a pure union of hearts and collision of souls.

Unfortunately, Avery appeared to hold a different view.

"I promise you!"

"I will complete our marriage and beco your lawful wife."

"No matter the cost, I will make it happen."

This ceremony seed imnsely important to her—a fundantal, irreplaceable part of her mindset. Her unwavering determination erged whenever she broached the subject with Lynch.

Lately, she’d been keeping busy. Though the details remained unspoken, Lynch surmised it was related to her efforts toward their union.

Very well. If that’s the case, it wouldn’t be right for him to remain idle.

Ti to focus on cultivation!

Wizard Somda had shared a perspective with Lynch that he deeply resonated with.

He said, "Every rule in this world is rely an embodint of Strength. If your power is sufficient, you dictate the rules, no matter what they are."

An apprentice lives at the rcy of others, their circumstances dictated by external forces; a wizard, too, must comply with rules crafted by others, living a life defined by social boundaries.

But what of those beyond wizards?

The Second Tier Mystic Techniques, representing the upper echelon of power across wizard families? Or the Thrice-tiered Domains, so rare that only a handful exist across the entire region?

And beyond, the Fourth-tier Rules and Fifth-tier Truths?

If one wields power strong enough, even the world’s most sacred rules beco self-defined—not to ntion trivialities like marriage. At that stage, the very existence of those wizard families would hinge on one’s command...

Such arrogance!

Initially, Yi Linqi would have found such conceit far-fetched, as resources, knowledge, and pathways required for advancent lay firmly in the grip of others. Progression wasn’t rely a matter of effort.

But now, these obstacles no longer concerned Lynch.

Wizard Somda had bestowed upon him a complete set of inherited knowledge for advancent. Despite its complexity and barriers, which would be insurmountable without dedicated guidance, the resource posed no difficulty to Lynch.

With his system, all constraints beca irrelevant. As long as he kept striving diligently, attaining a powerful legacy was an inevitability.

"Focus on cultivation for now. Let know if you need any resources!"

After spending so quiet ti with Lynch, Avery returned to her family.

Lynch, too, entered the Cultivation Room and closely examined the Deep ditation Laws Avery had procured for him by circumventing existing rules.

Wizards faced no stringent restrictions when learning new Deep ditation Laws; one could study multiple sets freely if they desired. Acquiring ten or even eight additional sets posed no problem.

However, most wizards refrained from overindulgence.

The Deep ditation Laws represented an integrated and comprehensive knowledge system—one that began accumulating knowledge from apprenticehood before culminating in an intricately structured frawork. Switching to another set ant starting again from scratch, requiring unthinkable ti and effort.

Yet Lynch faced no such concern.

As an apprentice, his studies encompassed nearly every major field, barring Ice and Light-related elents. The existing wizard rules held no obstacles toward his learning of any Deep ditation Laws within the broader spectrum.

Turning the pages, Lynch read for a while until the system’s distinctive notification chid crisply.

"Knowledge category identified: [Angry Dragon Fla (Incomplete)] has been logged."

[Angry Dragon Fla (Incomplete) Level 0]

"Hmm?"

Seeing the system’s data entry, Lynch froze in puzzlent.

Incomplete? What does this an?

He promptly examined the book’s contents, thoroughly flipping through its pages from cover to cover.

Having already mastered one set of Deep ditation Laws, with overlapping structures in knowledge, Lynch found the concepts within Angry Dragon Fla fairly straightforward to absorb. Gradually, he understood the system’s notification.

Just as noted above:

The Deep ditation Laws within this book were incomplete, missing critical sections.

Lynch stared incredulously.

This is...

What’s going on?

...

anwhile, at the Shadow Tower, atop the Green Wizard’s Upper Gallery.

"Knock, knock, knock!" A series of knocks echoed.

Without looking up from tending to the two Banshee Flower plants basking on the sunlit balcony, Wizard Calvin said, "Enter."

With a soft "click," the door opened, and a young apprentice stepped inside.

The man, roughly thirty years old, donned the apprentice robe denoting an inheritance apprentice. His exposed skin bore evident modifications, with gears and rivets visible externally.

This was Hudson, the inheritance apprentice of alchemy puppet-master Codinos.

Hudson approached and placed his left hand over his right chest, bowing slightly to Wizard Calvin. "Good afternoon, esteed Green Wizard."

After a brief pause, he stated his purpose. "I was sent by my ntor, Lord Codinos, to inquire about the scroll of Deep ditation Laws recently withdrawn from the archives by your honorable self."

"We hope you can provide an explanation."
