After the wedding, Lynch did not linger and departed from Frost Cold Town that very night.

Walking along the rugged woodland paths, Lynch reflected on the events that had transpired.

"Cunning nobles!"

Using such despicable thods to draw him into their affairs was truly disgusting. Perhaps they sensed that they didn’t have many years left to live, and thus acted with reckless abandon.

After weighing his options, Lynch ultimately decided to intervene. After all, this noble had indeed taken exceptional care of his family over the years. Given his prolonged efforts, granting him so asure of reward was only fair.

The solution to the matter turned out to be surprisingly simple. Lynch provided several bottles of magic potions that could rid mortals of their ailnts and restore vitality to certain physical functions. To a noble on the brink of death, these were as precious as the world’s greatest treasures.

"Rest assured, leave everything to . Once Brown realizes I have these, he wouldn’t concern himself over a silver mine, let alone a gold mine." Acate’s grin was etched with wrinkles as he clutched the magic potions.

The top leaders of the two families had already agreed to compromise, making it much easier to betray their respective families’ interests in the process.

Acate proposed organizing a war, encouraging both sides to clash, shed blood, and cool the heads that had beco fevered with greed over the silver mine. Once the fervor subsided, they could step in and divide the silver mine.

However, Lynch felt that such drastic asures were unnecessary. Magic could resolve many problems.

He placed several curses within the silver mine. Any common folk entering to mine would fall gravely ill afterward—not fatal, but sufficient to ignite panic. Acate and his people could then fan the flas further, ensuring everyone regained their sobriety.

This was a necessary step.

Since the silver mine’s discovery, the two families had been embroiled in a bitter conflict over claiming its resources. Tensions were high, and neither side was willing to relinquish this fortune, as it directly affected the livelihoods of their subjects.

Even though the leaders of both families could compromise, they still needed suitable reasoning to answer to their knights and subjects within the territory.

Lynch’s magic potions were only distributed to the leaders, not shared among everyone else.

With this maneuver, resolving the conflict beca much easier. A silver mine might be priceless, but if mining it ca with a terrible curse, its value diminished significantly.

Valueless things naturally beca less desirable to fight over.

"I didn’t expect to find sothing like this here..." Lynch’s gaze fell to the object in his hand.

He was gripping a piece of silvery tal that appeared to be freshly mined silver ore, but strangely, the ore seed to be writhing—

Secret Silver Mother Ore.

This was a peculiar mineral, existing sowhere between organic and inorganic matter. It was ford when elents adhered to silver ore, nurturing its growth. A single vein might yield only a few dozen grams, making it an exceedingly rare material.

This substance possessed phenonal natural properties for elental conduction, making it one of the finest materials for crafting witchcraft tools and alchemy tools. Lynch’s palm-sized lump could easily fetch several thousand magic stones on the market.

This piece of Secret Silver Mother Ore was a gift from Baron Acate. After the silver mine’s discovery, he had sent people to survey it. When the miners returned, they found this strange mineral, which was subsequently brought to him.

Upon noticing its writhing movent, Acate imdiately realized it was a transcendent material, beyond the reach of ordinary people. He had it sealed away until Lynch arrived, at which point it was handed over to him.

"What extraordinary luck."

The conditions for the formation of Secret Silver Mother Ore were incredibly stringent. Based on Acate’s descriptions, the vein itself was small, and producing this quantity of ore was truly remarkable.

"I’ll have to find a place to slt this quickly..."

The survival chanism of Secret Silver Mother Ore was parasitic in nature; it needed to absorb the mineral elents from silver ore to sustain itself. Once removed from its host vein, it would gradually weaken and die. When dead, it would beco indistinguishable from ordinary silver ore.

To transform it into a material usable by wizards, it had to be slted before its death. Slting fixed its structure and elental properties, locking them permanently into place.

"Where should I slt it?" Lynch pondered.

Slting Secret Silver Mother Ore was a highly technical process. The quality of the slting directly affected its final value and grade. Lynch didn’t have the right tools at hand, and using primitive flas would cause too much damage.

"Ideally, I need to find a skilled blacksmith to refine and forge it."

"Wait!"

"The Tulip Domain should suffice!"

Lynch rembered that during his brief stay in the Tulip Domain for a couple of months, the locals boasted about having the best blacksmith in the entire Saladin Kingdom. Whether true or not, the equipnt there had certainly impressed him.

"I’ll be passing through there anyway. Might as well visit an old friend." After musing for a mont, Lynch quickly made his decision.

...

A few days later, Saladin Kingdom, Tulip Domain.

Tulip Domain was unusually lively today. Subjects from nearby towns had been summoned to the castle to assist with preparations. The new Tulip Baron, Lord Jamie, had suddenly issued an order to host a feast, announcing the arrival of a distinguished guest.

At this mont, in the central plaza of the castle, Baron Jamie was sparring with this honored guest, surrounded by a large crowd.

"Clang!"

"Clang!"

The clash of tal rang out continuously, as the audience watched the evenly matched duel between the two figures in the center of the field, astonished.

Jamie Stock, the lord of Tulip Domain, was renowned throughout Saladin Kingdom as a prodigious knight. Over a decade ago, he had earned the title Knight of Hundred Flowers, and his skills had reached the level of High-level Knight years ago, leaving him with few rivals in the kingdom.

But the person he was sparring with? A youth who seed barely seventeen or eighteen. At that age, the number of knights who could rise to such prominence was scarce, yet this young man had the ability to hold his own in combat against the experienced baron—a truly incredible feat.

After trading dozens of blows, Lynch once again found an ’opening’ and countered to disarm Jamie’s Cross Sword.

Jamie said, "My friend, you have defeated yet again."

Pausing, he spoke with a hint of amazent, "I never imagined your swordsmanship would improve this much."

That sentint was genuine.

Although Jamie deliberately allowed an opening and lost to Lynch in this bout as he did before, the loss felt far less controlled this ti. It was abrupt and a bit awkward, enough to be noticed by others.

Unbeknownst to Jamie, Lynch had truly grown strong enough to challenge him.

Lynch replied, "You’ll find there’s even more to surprise you."

"Haha!"

Jamie put down his Cross Sword, stepped forward, and embraced Lynch warmly. "Is that so? Then we’ve got much to discuss today!"
