Chapter 383: A New Pawn & Aldrich Abomination

WILOW-Ch.383: A New Pawn & Aldrich Abomination

Little Finger’s Brothel, King’s Landing

POV of Petyr Baelish

The moans of two whores playing with each other filled the air as he sat behind his expensive desk and thought about the general situation of the war in Riverlands.

Lysa has, for so reason, decided to ignore their plans and has not only gathered the army of the Vale but has also sent them against the Lannisters to avenge the murder of their lord.

He would have enjoyed the irony of this whole situation if it hadn’t fuck so badly with his plans.

He wanted the army of the Vale intact so that when he eventually marries Lysa and takes over the Vale, he’ll have a whole army under his command.

Lysa has not only broken away from all her plans but also ignored any letters sent to her.

If he didn’t know any better, then he would have suspected that the woman had been murdered and a Faceless Man had taken over her face.

But he had tried to hire them once before and knew just how expensive they were.

There was no way there was anyone in the realm rich enough to hire a Faceless Man for a long-term mission.

Except for Lord Lannister and Lord Bolton.

Lord Bolton... it all ca down to him.

He took a sip of wine from a cup and looked at the two whores enjoying themselves. Or rely giving the illusion that they were enjoying themselves. Or a delicious mixture of both.

He thought about the situation he had found himself in and took another sip of wine.

At least now he had another pawn on the board: Catelyn Stark.

Petyr knew Catelyn would do anything to keep their secret from others.

Because for her, her husband learning what she had done and that she was carrying another man’s child ant the end of everything.

But it was too early to use her. Catelyn’s current situation weakened her usefulness. Her true power would show itself when she returned to Lord Stark and began to whisper in his ear.

And if Catelyn didn’t follow his instructions, he could perhaps use her situation to jeopardize Lord Stark’s position.

Perhaps he could write an anonymous letter and say that Catelyn had been raped while in Renly Baratheon’s captivity, thus turning Lord Stark against Renly, or even better, against the Baratheon House.

But all of this, while creating more chaos, wouldn’t benefit him unless he had the power to exploit it.

And until now, he had always planned to find that power in Eyrie.

As much as he would like to go to Eyrie and check on the situation himself, this was a crucial ti in the war.

A ti when even the mighty fall.

And soone like him needed to be ready to take advantage of the situation and ensure he ca out the victor in this war, no matter who won.

But once he had so ti on his hands, he would rescue Sansa, the girl he had found himself infatuated with.

Then he would take her to the Eyrie and take control of the situation himself there.

Near the Parley Location, Stormlands

POV of Davos Seaworth

It was late in the evening when they left the bank of the river on a small boat, and darkness had fallen by the ti they reached the other side of the bank.

Years of smuggling had taught him that this was the best ti to smuggle things from one place to another.

And now Davos Seaworth was putting that information to good use once again.

By smuggling a heavily pregnant lisandre to the other side of the river.

Now he knew that the reason his King had accepted the invitation to parley from his brother, Renly Baratheon, and had co all the way here, wasn’t to find a middle ground through conversation.

The Red Priestess had wanted this. It seed that this ti, in order to do her magic, she needed to be close to Renly Baratheon.

The boat stopped, and the Red Priestess gave him a smile of soone who was suprely confident in herself before she climbed out of the boat and went into a nearby cave.

Even heavily pregnant as she was, she walked with more grace than any other woman he had ever seen in his life.

They reached the cave, and he lit two torches for so illumination.

"You don’t need to look so afraid, Onion Knight." She said, smiling at him.

A smile that he had co to distrust a long ti ago.

"Soone once told

that the night is dark and full of terrors." He replied and got a smile in return.

She smiled, then suddenly dropped the robes she was wearing.

She was completely naked underneath with a large belly. And he hated himself for being aroused at the scene enough, though he knew what this was.

Then the torches’ lights started burning brighter as she sat down on the ground and spread her feet.

She started screaming in pain, but he couldn’t help but notice that half her screams seed like moans of pleasure as her belly convulsed a few tis before dark, shadowy tendrils ca out from between her legs.

He looked at the Aldrich abomination that ca out of her and stood up. The worst part of it all was that the thing had King Stannis’s face.

The Red Priestess panted in exhaustion, and he watched in silent terror as the thing turned into shadows and flew out of the cave.

If the Witch’s spell worked, Renly Baratheon would never see the light of day again, and his King would be the only Baratheon claiming the throne.

The Lords of the Stormlands who supported Renly Baratheon would once again be under his King’s command. And King Stannis would have enough troops to take King’s Landing and the Red Keep from the Lannisters.

This ant the end of Joffrey Waters’ reign, a bastard born of incest.

His King would sit on the Iron Throne. And then Stannis Baratheon’s reign would begin.

But... at what cost?
