Chapter 245: Bran Stark’s Situation

Chapter 245: Bran Stark’s Situation

Winterfell, Stark Lands

POV of Doric Bolton

Next morning.

Doric took a chair and sat beside Bran Stark, who had yet to co out of the coma from his fall from the Broken Tower.

Lady Stark sat on the other side of the bed and didn’t so much as glance at him since he entered the room.

He couldn’t tell if the woman was really so deep in her grief or if this was so new way of hers to insult him.

Then again, he never had a child of his own, so he couldn’t really tell how a parent would feel if his child went into a coma and might never co out of it.

Doric put his hand above Bran’s chest. Lady Stark glanced at his hand before she went back to making whatever it was that she was making. So superstitious protection charm, probably.

Now that she was not looking, he used his magic to scan Bran Stark’s body.

The results were not pretty.

The boy’s legs were fucked. So was his lower back.

He doubted that the boy would ever walk again with such injuries without magical treatnt. And that is if the boy even woke up in the first place.

His brain had also suffered so mild damage from the fall. It was nothing severe, but... sothing was wrong.

He couldn’t point his finger at what exactly was wrong.

That would require him to use a di wizard spell on Bran that would let out a dim glow and reveal his status as a wizard.

Doric pointed a finger at Lady Stark and cast a Confundus charm on her.

Using a human detection charm to make sure that no one would be coming into the room, he put his hand above Bran’s forehead, and his hand started to glow.

The glow lasted for a few monts before he removed his hand and put it back on Bran’s chest, before he removed the Confundus charm on the woman.

Lady Stark blinked for a mont and went back to making the protection charm.

He, on the other hand, scratched his chin and thought about what he found from Bran’s brain scan.

Well, the brain was mostly functional, but the Frontal Cortex part of his brain was showing signs of growing, which was bizarre to say the least.

The only ones who had such a large Front Cortex were the Wargs, and that part of Bran’s brain was already bigger than theirs.

Did the fall sohow unlock Bran’s warging powers?

He ntally chuckled at the grim thought of throwing a few Free Folk from his window in Dreadfort to see if they would gain the powers of a warg as well.

Then he thought about what else he had found and frowned.

Bran’s psyche was not there. It was as if the boy was in so sort of astral projection state.

The only ti sothing similar happened to him was when he was using the Valyrian Glass Candle and... when Bloodraven used his Greenseer abilities. So, Bran was not a Warg but a Greenseer.

He wondered what he should feel about that.

He had always been envious of Bloodraven’s abilities. Now, there was a fledgling Greenseer in the North.

Doric wondered if the old coot knew about this. Judging by how Bloodraven seed to know almost everything else, he probably did.

Questions whirled around in Doric’s mind.

Would the boy instinctively know how to use his powers, or would he need to be taught?

If he had to be taught like a wizard, then he would need to send the boy beyond the Wall to Bloodraven.

If not, then he could always use the help of a super spy. Would Bloodraven even want the boy?

He had no answers to his questions. He would probably need to have a talk with Bloodraven about this to find out what was happening.

He gave Lady Stark a nod, which she probably didn’t notice, and left the room.

There wasn’t much Doric could do about Bran’s coma situation. He would likely wake up when his psyche returned. And most likely as a Greenseer.

But Doric could treat his legs and lower back. With a few di wizard spells and a few potions, he could quickly restore Bran to health.

But Doric needed to ti things precisely. He was currently awaiting Lord Stark’s response to his demands, and unconditional aid in his current state would make him appear weak.

Moreover, the Starks didn’t yet know Bran wouldn’t be able to walk in his current state. Any help he offered now would likely be ignored.

Besides, it would be better for Bran to wake up first for treatnt. Then, Doric could find a reason and send a ssage to Lord Stark to send Bran to the Lundenhold Hospital for treatnt.

The real kicker was that Bran was a Greenseer. He needed to et with Bloodraven as soon as possible and get answers to his questions.

But Doric’s plan to go to his room, use his portkey two tis, and talk with Bloodraven was disturbed when he heard a voice he hadn’t heard for a long ti.

[This world’s destiny line information and general information about multiverse destiny lines are being transmitted to the Champion.]

Suddenly, a flood of images and information began to flood Doric’s mind.

The first information he acquired was general information about multiverse destiny lines.

According to this information, many worlds existed in the multiverse, and the basic events in the general destiny lines of these variations were similar or identical. However, events outside of the destiny lines could differ significantly.

Doric saw that in other "Harry Potter" worlds, Ginny had not betrayed him, and they even had children.

Apparently, this was how the events of the "Original" Harry Potter world unfolded.

According to the information he acquired, while a world could have multiple variations, one or more of these variations were generally considered the original.

And these Original Worlds were so much more potent than the others that their existences could resonate with so living beings in the multiverse and transmit events regarding their destiny lines to these people.

This ant that Harry Potter’s biography had been written or made into a film on so world in the multiverse.

Frankly, Doric didn’t know what to think about this.
