That’s not impossible; after all, he ca into contact with Blood based on the Ti Rune, sothing the previous Wizard Alliance never discovered.
The third guess is because during his second assessnt, his understanding of the True aning of Ti not only did not slow down but accelerated instead.
However, Blood’s change in attitude happened before the assessnt, not after; the timing doesn’t match.
Overall, he tended to believe the second guess was correct, but ultimately couldn’t be sure, and it wasn’t sothing he could easily say, so he could only bluff his way through.
