"The recovery of Elental Energy with a level-seven ditation Talent is really fast!"
More than half an hour later, Lor awoke from ditation, unable to suppress a smile.
In the past, when recovering Elental Energy in the Wizard Tower, even with the aid of Magic Crystals, it took half an hour to recover just ten percent of Elental Energy.
Now it’s different; without using Magic Crystals, eighty-five percent of Elental Energy is restored in less than an hour.
The difference is as vast as the Celestial Abyss.
"It’s a pity Magic Crystals aren’t allowed in; otherwise, I could always maintain a full Elental Energy state using them."
Lor felt a bit regretful, but he also understood that the Divine Kingdom Trial is essentially a trial ant to hone Wizard Apprentices.
If Magic Crystals were allowed, apprentices like him with high ditation Talent and strong Witchcraft could sweep the battlefield without any qualms.
This would have no honing effect on other apprentices, and the trial would lose its aning.
"I wonder if there are still any daring fellows who would co over now?"
He looked around, his gaze penetrating through the Adaptive Rock Barrier, seeing nothing but silence outside.
The pre-drawn Magma Eruption Technique Magic Array outside showed no signs of being triggered.
"They’ve all learned their lesson!" Lor chuckled.
So what if they turn from sheep into wolves?
When encountering a Cyan Dragon soaring through the sky, they still have to cower quietly in the corner.
Lor’s gaze shifted to the large bundle beside him and began to tally the spoils.
First were the Divine Power Crystals; including the last batch harvested, there were 462 grams in total.
At a price of 1,000 contribution points per gram, all these Divine Power Crystals could be exchanged for more than 460,000 contribution points.
If he bought those space equipnt with only one cubic ter of space, he could buy nine!
And when converted into charge points, it amounted to more than 4.6 million.
One shouldn’t think Lor’s bounty was solely because of the Wizard Alliance’s generosity.
In fact, he had crushed and plundered the share that tens of thousands of third-level apprentices should have gotten, hence the contribution points gained.
If it were evenly distributed, even a third-level apprentice wouldn’t get 20 contribution points, which were hard-earned.
Regardless of whether the Wizard Alliance’s high-ups are generous, Lor absolutely struck it rich this ti, genuinely rich without any fake elents.
"I have to return 50 grams of Divine Power Crystals to my ntor, leaving with 412 grams."
Lor pondered, "Upon returning, I must inquire about how many contribution points a Third Ring Mage needs to take to..."
"No, I don’t necessarily have to rely on a Third Ring Mage to take away," Lor shook his head. "With so many Divine Power Crystals, I can fully afford a powerful small Flying Ship to cross the sea by myself."
Later, he would go amid the contest for more Divine Power Crystals; exchanging them for contribution points would be a massive sum.
These contribution points aren’t much to the real controllers of the Wizard Alliance, the Four and Five Ring Mages, but enough to make a Third Ring Great Wizard take risks.
"It’s better to keep life and death in my own hands, after all, life is only this much."
Having made up his mind, Lor stuffed this pile of Divine Power Crystals at the bottom of the bag and began extracting special potions inside to enhance aptitude.
Ten vials...
Twenty vials...
Thirty vials...
After taking the last vial out, Lor counted; there were thirty-seven vials in total.
Each vial of these potions could change the fate of a first-level talent Wizard Apprentice, turning them into a third-level talent apprentice, giving them hope of becoming an Official Wizard.
Just casually take one out, and it could drive apprentices crazy.
"Let’s drink a vial to taste the flavor."
Without hesitation, Lor picked up a vial of potion, pulled out the stopper, and poured it into his mouth.
At first entrance, it was slightly spicy.
Swallowed, it cleared the Sea of Consciousness.
He felt a cool sensation rushing from his throat straight to his Sea of Consciousness, making imperceptible adjustnts to the Elental Domain.
Lor probed his Sea of Consciousness with his thoughts and didn’t find a hint of a problem, so he simply opened the panel and looked at the ditation Talent column.
[ditation Talent: 7th Level (Modifying)]
About three minutes later, the cool sensation in the Sea of Consciousness disappeared.
The ’Modifying’ following the ditation Talent also vanished.
The talent was still 7th level, unchanged.
"It’s effective but weak," Lor felt a sudden understanding.
Not in a hurry to drink another potion, he stood up, carefully sensing other areas with intense Divine Power Crystal fluctuations.
If opportunity permits, it would make sense to loot once more.
However, this ti he found that all places with intense Divine Power fluctuating were far away, mostly in motion.
Lor sighed, "It seems estimating getting more Divine Power Crystals will be hard."
Apart from the Floating Technique, he hadn’t learned any spells to enhance speed.
Even the 0.9 Ring Floating Technique only increased his speed by a bit.
It was hard to catch up with others when they could detect him from dozens of kiloters away.
"Forget it, I’ll finish the potions first and see if I can improve my talent."
Lor shook his head, sat down again, and drained another vial of special potion.
Five vials...
Ten vials...
When he drank the twenty-third vial, he stopped.
Not because the talent level changed but because trouble ca looking for him.
"Boom——"
The Magma Eruption Magic Array he set up outside automatically triggered, enveloping the whole area within a thousand ters centered on the Adaptive Rock Barrier.
Lor stood up, looking towards the direction where the Magma Eruption Magic Array was triggered.
A pitch-black shadow was shrouded in magma; the thin black light shield on him seed about to collapse but couldn’t be burned through.
In an instant, the shadow leaped out of the magma eruption magic array’s range, disappearing into the surrounding dark night.
"A humanoid, no Elental fluctuations, rich in Dark Energy, interesting."
Lor smirked, "Is this guy... perhaps a Faith Apprentice from that Dark Wizard Tower?"
Indeed, he feared the lunatic who might beco a Five-Ring Dark Faith Mage in the future, but this apprentice was different.
Regardless, Lor stomped the ground where the shadow had disappeared and cast an Adaptive Rock Barrier on himself.
"Boom——"
A stream of lava spanning 1,300 ters erupted from beneath the ground a hundred ters from Lor, encompassing an area with an 1,300-ter radius centered on the shadow’s disappearance point.
The shadow appeared 800 ters from the center of the lava, entirely engulfed by it.
This ti, it couldn’t escape as swiftly as before; the black veil enveloping it rapidly lted in the magma.
After running 200 ters toward the edge of the lava, the shadow’s black veil entirely disintegrated.
"Ah~"
The black figure wailed miserably but didn’t turn to ash in the magma because a new black veil appeared on his body.
Realizing his current strategy was dood, the black figure raised his arm.
A dark energy beam, exuding a terrifying aura, appeared, shooting straight at Lor.
With a slight coldness in his eyes, Lor silently activated the high-temperature amplitude model in his Sea of Consciousness, tapping slightly towards the still-erupting lava.
"Sizzle——"
The dark energy beam, just fired, was entirely devoured by the lava, whose temperature had doubled.
And the black figure, in an instant, lted in the magma.
The black veil provided no protection at all.
"I wasn’t even thinking about hunting, and you decided to target first?"
Lor shook his head speechlessly, feeling a slight satisfaction in his heart.
From the mont he set foot in this world, he had always been on edge due to the future Dark Faith Mage who would destroy the Murphy Continent.
Now, by killing a talented apprentice from their faction, he felt it served as a small act of revenge.
And he also gathered so... quite a few spoils as well.
Sensing the concentrated Divine Power fluctuation not far away, he couldn’t bring himself to belittle this passionate friend any longer.
