"Hey, don’t be so quick to disagree."
Cody, still mingling among the legislators, chuckled and said, "Let’s not ntion the others for now. Just the conjectures proposed by Speaker Lor alone have made a significant contribution to the developnt of the Alliance, wouldn’t you agree?"
"Speaker Francis paved the way for you, and his contributions are indeed substantial, but compared to Speaker Lor, he..."
Listening to Cody’s words, Speaker Francis remained expressionless.
After all, speaking truthfully, in the past millennium, Lor indeed contributed more to the Wizard Alliance as a whole than he did.
As for finding the path to the Sixth Ring, even without him, other wizards would have eventually discovered it, albeit a bit later.
However, upon hearing the last sentence, his expression beca slightly nuanced.
So things are best kept understood internally without the need for vocalization.
It seems he needs to take so ti to teach Cody what can and cannot be said.
"Ahem—"
Lor coughed repeatedly, interrupting Cody before he could finish speaking, and said with a smile, "Legislator Cody praises too highly. Compared to Speaker Francis, my contributions to the Wizard Alliance are insignificant."
"Let Speaker Francis deliver the opening speech; I’ll go second."
"Shall I?" Speaker Francis raised his brow, carefully observed Lor’s expression, and, confirming that it wasn’t a feigned refusal, nodded and said, "Very well, I will start."
At the podium.
"In the first millennium of the Wizard Calendar, we endured great hardships... overca the Abyss, and afterward... three additional speakers and seventy-five legislators erged. anwhile, the Wizard Alliance saw significant developnt in various directions, such as..."
Francis slowly summarized the major events of the previous millennium before saying, "In the coming millennium, our focus will no longer be confined to the internal affairs of the Wizard World."
"For more specific matters, allow Speaker Lor to enlighten everyone."
With that said, Francis slowly walked down from the podium, nodded to Lor.
Lor nodded back to him and then stepped onto the podium at the front, looking straight ahead with a smile, saying, "In our first millennium, we have achieved great accomplishnts in many areas, but it is still not enough, far from enough."
Hearing Lor’s words, the legislators present beca even more curious.
What kind of plan has Speaker Lor devised for the next millennium that even made the other speakers agree to let him deliver the opening address?
...
Outside, Lor’s words were equally puzzling.
On the tower seven hundred miles from the Francis Wizard Tower, a girl asked her companion, "Gao Er, despite the wizard world’s drastic changes compared to a thousand years ago, why would Speaker Lor say such a thing?"
"How would a small fry like know what big figures are contemplating?" Gao Er helplessly shook his head, "Let’s just keep watching. Based on Speaker Lor’s words, it seems he has a way to accelerate the developnt of the wizard world even further."
"Hmm." The girl nodded and returned her attention to the large light screen outside the Wizard Tower.
...
Outside Warren City, upon a thousand-ter-tall giant tree.
"Does Speaker Lor find the wizard world’s recent developntal pace still too slow for the recent millennium?" Ron looked intently at the distant screen, feeling quite astonished.
Compared to what he gathered from his father’s words about the mystical age when deities ruled the world, the current developnt of the wizard world is nothing less than transformative.
Yet in the eyes of Lor, a genius known for his teoric rise, it seems so inadequate.
"Speaker Lor must have conceived a better way to develop; we can only wonder what changes will sweep the wizard world following his forthcoming words." The Enchanting Witch gazed at the screen with anticipation.
"Haha, I feel like we are witnessing history."
"Indeed."
"I believe Speaker Lor will not disappoint us."
The other Great Wizards also chid in with praise.
...
On the ninety-fifth floor of the Lor Wizard Tower.
"It seems the ntor has another new idea. Kateya, do you really not know?" Levan curiously glanced at Kateya.
"I have been busy helping Lord Lor with experintal witchcraft recently and haven’t heard him ntion other matters." Kateya shrugged.
"The current growth rate of the Wizard Alliance is already fast enough." Villan rubbed his brow, "I honestly can’t think of any way to accelerate developnt further."
In fact, he just thought of one thod, which is abolishing the Contribution Points system and lifting promotion restrictions.
Yet, it is a ans of maintaining top-level interests. He doesn’t believe his ntor would agree to such a change.
Even if his ntor agreed, the other speakers would never consent.
anwhile, as they conversed, Lor on the light screen spoke again: "Before discussing the next developnt plan, there’s sothing everyone needs to know—our world is not the only one; beyond this world, there are others."
"Just like beyond Milton Continent, there are other continents."
"Of course, there are differences between the two. Compared to continents, the number of worlds is far greater. Externally, worlds are referred to as planes..."
He plainly explained the connections among planes, worlds, and plane groups to the wizards.
Yet every wizard who heard his words, from legislators to apprentices, was amazed.
World beyond a world?
The Wizard World is not unique?
Planes and plane groups?
These brief words seed to contain massive amounts of information, filling the minds of every wizard, leaving no room for other thoughts.
Lor was well aware of the impact of his words. After introducing planes and plane groups, he paused for a mont.
When those who had made special contributions were fully awake and eagerly watching him, he spoke again: "Within five hundred years, I will develop witchcraft capable of taking you to other planes. By then, it will mark the beginning of a new era."
"The future of wizards lies in the plane groups, not in the Wizard Plane."
Exploring the planes ahead of ti, allowing wizards to venture out, is a necessary step.
With enough territory, he could propose in the Small Council to abolish the Contribution Points system, permitting Third Ring, and even Fourth Ring wizards to freely advance.
In his deduction, if the most formidable opponent from the Silver Wolf Influence is encountered, the Sixth Ring chanical Wizard or Abyssal Wizard could handle them.
If it were ultimately the Sixth Ring chanical Wizard, then all his preparations might not be needed.
With the destructive power of chanical Wizards, it wouldn’t take long to break the turtle shell constructed by Silver Wolf with Holy Light.
But if it were an Abyssal Wizard, breaking the turtle shell would take so ti.
During this period, knowing escape was futile, Silver Wolf would certainly order those Tier Four, Five, and Six life forms under him to exact crazy revenge on the Wizard Civilization.
To protect the Wizard Plane from the frenzied assaults of those creatures, relying solely on the current personnel would definitely be insufficient; more wizards need to beco Fourth Ring, Fifth Ring, and even Sixth Ring.
At that point, once a certain ti is endured, and the Abyssal Wizard resolves Silver Wolf, those Tier Four, Five, and Six life forms that had pledged oaths at the Oath Stone will perish, leaving the remainders easily defeated or enslaved.
This is the optimal plan he envisions.
Furthermore, conducting comprehensive plane exploration and fully exploiting the potential of one plane before advancing to the next would not prematurely trigger encounters with the Silver Wolf Influence.
To achieve a resounding victory, so manageable risks must be undertaken.
Ultimately, holding the key to unlocking planes, he need not worry about losing control of the situation.
...
"So, this is the direction the ntor chooses for developnt?" Villan’s eyes shone with excitent. "The Wizard Plane is but a drop in the vast plane group ocean; the future of wizards lies not in the Wizard Plane, but in the plane group."
"Lord Lor really deserves admiration," Kateya remarked.
"Is the future truly going to be this thrilling?" Levan’s heart beat like a drum.
...
Outside Warren City, atop the giant tree.
"Haha, Jeremy, you were right; we are truly witnessing the birth of an epic." Ron laughed heartily, "This mont will undoubtedly beco the most significant scene in the history of wizard developnt; our future lies in the plane group, not in the Wizard Plane."
"Speaker Lor is amazing to develop such a monuntal witchcraft."
"Indeed, I..."
...
In a castle seven hundred miles from the Francis Wizard Tower.
"Rosie, being born into this new era, we are truly fortunate." Gao Er turned to the girl beside him and asked with a gentle smile, "Would you be willing to face the new era ntioned by Speaker Lor with ?"
"Of course, I’m willing." Rosie nodded firmly and gently nestled in Gao Er’s embrace.
