"Has that female wizard co again?" An Eye Demon sensed the intense elental fluctuations emanating from the depths of the continent, and this thought first crossed its mind.

However, when it extended its perception, it found, to its surprise, that there was nothing there.

For a mont, it felt slightly bewildered.

"Bais, look at the sky!" At that mont, another Eye Demon transmitted the reminder.

"Hmm?" Upon hearing the reminder, Bais imdiately looked up at the sky.

In the sky, beyond its perception range of twenty thousand miles above, a small-looking teor was falling towards this place.

Upon seeing this teor, a faint sense of crisis arose in its heart, but not too strongly.

Monts later, as the golden-red teor truly entered its perception range, a chilling sensation surged from the depths of its being.

Even though the teor in the sky did not contain the Power of Origin, for so reason, it felt extrely dangerous.

"This teor is abnormal. All demons, heed the order: attack with full force at the teor sixteen thousand miles northeast in the sky," Bais instantly sent the order.

As it spoke, it focused Abyssal Energy in its pupil, forming an Abyssal Energy Beam to blast at the teor plumting toward it.

The other Eye Demon also did the sa.

"Yes."

"Okay."

Upon hearing Bais’s orders, over seventy demons abandoned their attack on the continent’s turtle shells, instead targeting the teor falling through the sky.

Once the teor entered attack range, it would face the demons’ collective attack.

"Boom—crash—"

The Abyssal Energy Beam released by the two Eye Demons collided with the teor, only to be completely blocked by a dazzling golden shield surrounding the teor, having no effect.

Lor, with fifty-three billion rits, could summon the terrifying might of the War God List, incomparable to before.

Seeing this outco, Bais’s heart sank.

As the teor drew ever closer, it dared not waste ti, spreading Abyssal Energy around itself, laying down layer upon layer of Abyss Defense Barrier.

"Whew—"

The teor was unaffected, and in re monts, it fell within ten thousand miles of the demons.

...

Inside the Continent Defense Shield.

Having received the notice from Amy, the many prepared Wizard Legions felt regret as they watched the demons shift their target.

"It’s a pity we couldn’t assist Legislator Lor," an elderly Legion Commander in a red Great Wizard Robe sighed, looking at the teor plumting from the sky, feeling both regret and excitent.

He knew it was Legislator Lor’s Celestial Calamity Witchcraft, which Lor had used previously to annihilate over fifty Fourth-ranked demons.

Apart from this Legion Commander, all other Legion Commanders and legion mbers who could see the teor fall awaited eagerly, hoping the teor would succeed in one strike.

...

"Splash—splash—"

"Sizzle—"

As the teor entered within ten thousand miles, the demons instantly unleashed all sorts of prepared long-range attack techniques, converging into a torrent of Abyssal Energy rushing toward the teor.

"Snap—"

This ti, the golden shield surrounding the teor cracked upon impact.

The Abyssal Energy torrent continued to bombard the teor’s core, diminishing its size by a third in a flash.

If the teor fell slightly slower, the demons could obliterate it entirely with two more full-force attacks.

Regrettably, there was no more ti.

The rapidly descending teor pierced through the Abyss torrent, reaching within two thousand miles of Bais.

"Crack—crack—crack—"

Before the demons could react again, it smashed into the layers of Abyss Defense Barrier Bais had prepared.

Against the teor, these Abyss Defense Barriers were as weak as paper, causing no hindrance.

"Bang—boom—"

The remaining hundred-mile diater, pitted teor crashed onto Bais’s head, exploding with a thunderous roar.

"Aaaah—"

Bais let out a harrowing scream as the scorching heat released by the teor rendered it excruciatingly painful.

More terrifying still, its Power of Origin was being obliterated by the dark red energy accompanying the teor.

In just an instant, over forty percent had been obliterated.

"This..."

The rest of the demons, witnessing Bais’s plight, felt a surge of fear, turning to the other Eye Demon for direction.

"The resistance of this continent is too stubborn; we might not fulfill the monarchs’ orders."

The Eye Demon sighed and transmitted, "Anyone want to leave this continent with to explore other continents?"

This continent had Fourth Ring wizards, who sporadically struck them with Thunder Witchcraft imbued with rich Power of Origin; it had long tired of it.

But hindered by the monarchs’ orders from the war’s onset, it couldn’t leave.

Now, this eerie teor had shattered the last line of its heart’s defense.

All that remained was one goal: escape!

"Uriel is right; indeed, this place isn’t one to stay."

"I’ll leave with you."

" too."

"I..."

...

Uriel’s words quickly gained many demons’ approval.

Their thoughts mirrored his closely; only the monarchs’ authority hindered their departure.

Now, with Uriel proposing to leave, they naturally didn’t oppose.

Having a scapegoat made smoothing things over later simpler.

"Then let’s hurry!" At that mont, Bais, recovering from the pain, spoke up.

It didn’t want another strike by that unsettling teor.

"Alright, let’s go!" Seeing no demon oppose, a smile surfaced in Uriel’s eyes as it led them eastbound.

Since the war started, though they’ve entered the human world, it hadn’t sampled a human soul yet.

Surely, elsewhere, that opportunity awaited.

...

"The demons have fled, Legislator Lor triumphant!"

"Haha, Legislator Lor is truly formidable, just casting one teor Witchcraft sent all the demons scurrying!"

"Legislator Lor triumphant!"

Seeing the demons’ movents, cheers erupted across the Milton Continent’s edge from the various legions.

...

Milton Inland.

"Hmm, why are all the space markers moving away from Milton Continent?" Lor sensed the anomaly in the space markers, his hand paused slightly before drawing another Magic Crystal.

He hesitated briefly, fearing it might be a demonic trap, choosing not to investigate imdiately but to hasten his absorption of Magic Crystals.

Once his elental energy was fully replenished, he sensed the nearest marker was already twelve thousand miles from the continent, and he felt relieved, promptly activating the Space Jumping Rune Model within his Sea of Consciousness.

"Tear—!"

In the sky fifteen thousand miles from Milton Continent’s edge, a space rift opened, and Lor stepped forth.

"Have they fled already?" Lor sensed the demons’ unpausing, headlong retreat, feeling a touch of regret.

The Eye Demon wasn’t dead, having fled with all demons in tow.

He expected to exert considerable effort later to whittle down and eradicate this demon group.
