"Life forms above the fourth tier are different from us; they all have a trait called a Source."
Ron’s voice tily broke the silence: "If the Source is not destroyed, they cannot be killed."
"To kill them, one must either integrate their Source into witchcraft to forcibly annihilate them, or spend a massive amount of ti grinding their physical form away again and again."
"The Source is extrely difficult to recover, and there are too many fourth-tier demons. It would be a waste for Speaker Yasen to use the Source to kill fourth-tier demons; it’s better reserved for the fifth-tier ones."
"To forcibly annihilate a fourth-tier demon requires killing it thousands of tis to truly eradicate it, which wastes too much ti."
"As long as the single Elental Mages can block most of the long-range attacks and protect the continent, fourth-tier demons cannot penetrate the continent’s Defense Shield, making them lower in handling priority."
"This is also why other fourth-tier demons can escape from the frontline; even the fourth-ring legislators are reluctant to waste too much of their Source on them."
As Ron explained, everyone except Levan showed expressions of realization and suppression on their faces.
Although Lor was aware of these facts, he actually should not have known them.
Hence, he needed to pretend to be ignorant.
However, he caught a key piece of information from Ron’s words, which was that no wizard in the current Wizard Alliance had fused a witchcraft possessing a trait similar to the Destruction Trait.
Otherwise, Ron would not have said that apart from integrating the Source into witchcraft and forced annihilation, there was no other way to kill demons.
His Great teor Witchcraft seed more precious than he had imagined, and he wondered if he could use it to get so resources from Yasen.
"Thank you, Legislator Ron, for dispelling our doubts." Bruno bowed to Ron, expressing sincere gratitude.
Most of the knowledge above the fourth tier was not publicly available on the Continent Communication Device.
Because it was aningless and would only exacerbate the sense of despair among low-tier wizards facing fourth-tier enemies.
Bruno understood that if the timing hadn’t been right today, he might never have learned this kind of knowledge unless he indeed broke through the fourth ring.
"I am rely following the will of Speaker Yasen."
Ron shook his head and then looked around at everyone, speaking earnestly, "I hope you will not spread this matter."
This information is unknown to anyone outside the legion commanders of the major legions at the frontline.
Sotis, the legion commanders would intentionally organize counterattacks to inflict so negligible injuries on fourth-tier demons, giving other single Elental Mages hope that they might kill a fourth-tier demon, to maintain morale.
If they learned the news that it’s impossible to kill the fourth-tier demons, they might collapse.
The great situation would be utterly lost, unable to persist until the day results erge on the frontline.
"Yes."
"Okay."
Everyone responded in agreent.
All those standing here are not fools, naturally, they picked up on Ron’s implied aning.
"In recent tis, due to a montary lapse, I’ve caused you all concern."
Lor, seeing everyone looking gloomy, imdiately changed the subject, "How about I set up a banquet to apologize?"
He had a way to handle the matter of fourth-tier demons, provided he could break through their defenses.
The specific performance of the Great teor Technique would have to wait a few days to be seen; if it truly failed, the opening of the war board should resolve things.
"No need for such courtesy, teor Mage."
"Master, are you cooking yourself?"
"It’s a pity I can’t leave; I need to notify the single Elental Mages at the border, otherwise I’d love to attend."
...
Ti passed, and in the blink of an eye, seven days had gone by.
Inside Lor’s dwelling.
"I wonder when Speaker Yasen will co." Lor awoke from deducing the molecular junction of Earth Vein Traveling Technique, looking down at the Space Ring containing only over twenty million Magic Crystals, feeling a slight sense of expectation.
On the first day of awakening, he arranged a sumptuous banquet for his many acquaintances.
On the second day, it took him only over ten minutes to absorb all the Divine Power Crystals in his Space Ring, successfully increasing his Spiritual Power to 20,300.
During the remaining ti, aside from leaving the Wizard Tower to test his current sensing distance, he had been deducing the molecular junction between the Earth Vein Traveling Technique and Earth Position Witchcraft.
Due to the advancent to the third ring and the aid of the Microscope String Worldview, his deduction of molecular junctions was now more than ten tis faster.
However, the complexity of the three-ring witchcraft model compared to the two-ring witchcraft rune model also increased exponentially.
Previously, deducing several hundred junctions could barely rge the required witchcraft; now at least several thousand, even tens of thousands of junctions must be deduced.
Ultimately, this resulted in Lor’s deduction progress not accelerating but slowing down instead.
...
Off the coast of Betula Continent.
"Boom—Crack—"
More than fifty grotesque-looking fourth-tier demons were surrounding the continent’s Defense Shield, launching various long-range attacks on Betula Continent through it, being continually blocked by the imnse Defense Shields from various attribute aerial ships.
The battle was incredibly intense.
Beneath the fourth-tier demons, sporadic low-tier demons flooded towards the Defense Shield’s interior and flew into the depths of the continent.
So special low-tier demons also flew out from the Defense Shield, fleeing madly.
Currently, along the edges of Betula Continent, the land was fractured and subrged by seawater due to the demons’ assault over more than eight thousand miles.
Due to the lack of continental frawork support, the Defense Shield had shrunk by over five thousand miles compared to before.
Actually, over ten years ago, the fourth-tier demons weren’t this reckless.
They only needed to wait outside; demons from their respective tribes would naturally co out with a large number of human souls to offer.
But starting twelve years ago, the situation completely changed.
It seed that the wizards had researched so terrifying magic artifacts, fully restraining the low-tier demons, oppressing them miserably.
Almost none of the demons managed to escape.
And even fewer demons brought out human souls, essentially only one in a thousand.
This situation was intolerable for them.
Since the low-tier demons couldn’t do it, they would co themselves.
As long as they collapsed the continent, that annoying continental Defense Shield would naturally disappear, and by then, could they not freely enjoy human souls?
As the fourth-tier demons continued their frantic assault, endeavoring to destroy more of the continent.
On the distant horizon, a second sun rose.
"So hot..." scattered over the Endless Sea, one and two-tier demons instinctively murmured.
The next instant, they inexplicably turned to ash.
"What is that?" The three-tier demons fared better than the one- and two-tier ones; they at least had ti to lift their heads and glance at the second sun rising in the sky.
But they also only had ti for a glimpse; in the mont they saw the sun, they too turned to ash.
"Hoo—Hoo—"
That sun, seemingly infinitely distant, rapidly approached Betula Continent.
Wherever the sun traversed, demons and birds all beca ash, drifting into the sea.
The seawater was boiling and evaporating continuously, forming countless steams.
Should this steam ascend to the sky, it would likely obscure the sky.
But just as the steam ford, the next instant, it was turned to nothingness by the sun’s heat.
