...
But the problem is, he had no more energy to spare.
He was frantically grinding Skill Level every day.
Mud Stone Transformation, a Universal Secret Technique, couldn’t be neglected, and as for the Strong Repulsion Field, there’s no need to say—it’s all about defense.
Purifying Evil was a contingency, an insurance, providing Lin Suo with comprehensive capabilities.
Magic Hand had reached Red Grade, already graduated.
The Underwater Breathing Technique could be put aside, while advancing the Moon Blade Leopard Contract Skill would enhance Lin Suo’s proficiency in Contract and Summoning Witchcraft.
He had other uses for it, so he couldn’t set it aside.
Three witchcrafts had already drained a great deal of his energy.
Add to that ditation, taking care of the Night Garden, rice growth, Power of Synthesis research, dicine Baths, and increasing [Skill] abilities.
His daily schedule was packed to the brim.
Only today’s breakthrough finally gave him a breath of relief.
The second phase of his practice plan was half done, and the third training plan would inevitably require even more effort to make up for what hadn’t been achieved, which was difficult.
After a long deliberation.
Lin Suo suddenly recalled, he had previously killed an apprentice wizard nad Sara!
Moreover, due to his disappearance, the heart, interests, and conspiracies had led to the fall of the Late Bell Church, and the Fifth Ring Wizard Alder went missing.
"He must have had quite a few good things on him."
That day’s ambush was a spur of the mont for Lin Suo, but the victim had been in the business quite long and, having looted the body, got little; his stash must be hidden at ho or so other place.
The Moon Witch that had trained Sara was thoroughly dead.
It should be no trouble to look for Sara’s legacy now.
A thought that suddenly leaped into his mind was like a seasoning to his monotonous life over the past month, a not insignificant temptation and yet with low danger.
Lin Suo hesitated for a mont, then decided to go look for it, as a way to relax.
"Relaxing isn’t bad, but if it requires to leave the city, then forget it..."
Having made up his mind.
Lin Suo took a bath, donned his coat, and walked spiritedly towards the Iron Hook Tavern.
It had been two months since he last saw sister Tifa, and he was indeed feeling sowhat eager.
Iron Hook Tavern.
As always, it was bustling with voices, various races from the Mixed Blood District could be seen here.
Lin Suo made his way to the bar and rapped on the counter.
"Sister Tifa, flaming~"
"Oho, it’s you."
Tifa rose from behind the bar, certain parts as bouncy as ever.
Still loving her tight clothes.
Neither of them cared about the Eternal Night of the Winter Fire Festival, an unspoken understanding between them.
How peculiar.
"Here, flaming."
Lin Suo took the large stein handed to him, shook the dazzling red liquor inside that looked like lava, and drank most of it in one gulp.
After a long ti, he exclaid.
"Comfortable."
Seeing this, Tifa chuckled and explained.
"This is a drink created by the Dwarf clan. Even a Peak Knight can be knocked down with one glass. Aren’t you afraid of trouble drinking it so swiftly?"
"No worries."
Lin Suo flicked a gold coin onto the counter from his pocket.
"Let ask you sothing."
"Ask away."
"Where do Wild Wizards usually gather in the city?"
Tifa was taken aback.
"I’m just an ordinary Knight, I don’t know anything about Wizard stuff."
"Is that so..."
Lin Suo nodded, then took out a bag of gold coins and gently flicked it, hooking it onto Captain Tifa’s hooked hand.
"What about now?"
"103 Boge Street, Wind’s Voice, an information organization famous throughout the continent."
"Thank you."
"You’re welco, but just a reminder, it’s quite expensive."
"More expensive than you?"
"Even more expensive than I am."
Lin Suo smiled with a squint, downed his drink in one gulp, and swirled away.
Beside him, the pretty waitress who had talked to Tifa before leaned in at so point and whispered,
"Captain, during the Eternal Night, were you with this guy..."
"Silence!"
Tifa Captain glared at the blue-haired, blue-eyed waitress and headed toward the wine cellar.
The waitress stood there alone, muttering to herself.
"What, she had her own fun, and she won’t even let have a taste..."
After saying that, she lifted her blue curly hair at her ears to reveal rosy, slightly pointed ears, with a few blue-green scales seeming to grow from under her skin, decorating the back of her ears.
She carried with her a scent of the sea.
After leaving the Iron Hook Tavern,
Lin Suo headed to 103 Boge Street, a place also in the Mixed Blood District, teeming with a jumbled mix of races and factions.
Many humanoid creatures looked like grotesque mishmashes of animals, barely resembling humans.
There were those with tiger heads, shark heads, catlike beings, and those with fox ears, to na a few.
Beastn and Half-Beasts occupied most of the territory on Boge Street.
They had a rough and combative style, often fighting in the streets before being hauled away by arriving Enforcent Officers, spending a few days in jail before coming out as good as new.
Boge Street also had underground fighting rings, casinos, flesh trading, slave trade, illicit drugs, and other businesses. Lin Suo had heard of these and normally stayed clear to avoid trouble.
Wind’s Voice, however, was sothing he was hearing about for the first ti.
"An intelligence organization, huh..."
Lin Suo pressed down on the brim of his hat and arrived in front of number 103, an ordinary flat-topped building.
Its outermost layer was wrapped in black velvet, like a squared tent.
Lifting the entrance curtain, a different world revealed itself inside.
His first impression was its spaciousness, and then, mysteriousness!
The floor was laid with black stone tiles, and the room was divided into two areas by partitions, with several phone booth-like windows just a few steps away.
No other miscellaneous items were to be found.
Lin Suo seated himself in front of one of the windows.
A screen imdiately rose from within.
[Search: ? / Estimated Price: ?]
"How advanced."
Lin Suo twitched the corner of his mouth slightly as he wrote down the key information.
Wizard Apprentice Sara, practicing the Moon Snake ditation thod, all permanent locations within Koster.
The estimated price column fluctuated a few tis and quickly popped up with a price.
Magic Stones.
Exceptionally cheap, considering Lin Suo had about fifty Magic Stones at hand ready for trading, he didn’t hesitate to deposit them into the cash machine.
Little did he know, Magic Stones were hard to co by and often deed as valuable as ’a thousand gold for one stone.’ 10 Magic Stones were already quite costly, aligning with Tifa’s understanding.
Yet Lin Suo was sowhat unaware of this realization.
Artificial Magic Stones, although disposable, never seed to run out for him. His current training did not require Magic Stones, mainly using them for nurturing Magic Potions.
Once he broke through the Advanced Wizard Apprentice level, Black Octopus Flower Reagent was no longer effective.
But it could still be enhanced using the Stacked Synthesis thod, about ten to twenty tis, the enhanced version of the Black Octopus Flower Reagent would again work on Advanced Apprentices.
No shortage.
Back to the matter at hand, after the Magic Stones were put in.
Lin Suo felt as if a whisper of the wind brushed his ear, a rustling voice interlaced with fragnted words, continuously providing information about Sara’s residence.
So certain, so speculative, so not yet confird.
A total of five places were pointed out.
Extrely detailed.
This ability to collect information made Lin Suo smack his lips in amazent and worry for himself at the sa ti.
"Wind’s Voice, the na really fits."
Walking out of the square building.
Lin Suo looked down in thought, wondering if he too had been recorded by these people? Surely not!
He hadn’t shown any particular value...
