Capítulo 998: Chapter 150: Seeds of Civilization
“Horad, destiny loves to jest, as I’ve discussed with you before.”
Just as Horad was in despair, a voice suddenly sounded behind him. In the next mont, he saw a torrent of Ether rush past him, nearly instantaneously pushing away the four Breaking Limit Sovereigns to the side.
Horad turned his head only to see Richard slowly walking out from the Dinsion Gate.
“Destiny still has so courtesy; the Curse Divination tracked your whereabouts.”
As he spoke, Richard glanced at the four Sovereigns swept away by the Ether tide, a slight surprise on his face: “Did I not take a proper look earlier? Are there actually four Breaking Limits?
What do you carry that makes them chase you so diligently?”
“…Just a fire seed.” Horad fell silent for a mont before speaking softly.
“You are quite greedy then.” Richard looked at the four Breaking Limit manifestations, a hint of mockery on his face, “Not willing to leave even a fire seed?”
The four Sovereigns looked at Richard and, without nearly any hesitation, chose to flee imdiately.
They stood no chance against Richard.
But how could Richard let the prey in hand escape?
The Power of Dinsion turned into strands of silk in his hands, which then wove together to form a spear. The mont the spear ford, the surrounding hundred kiloters of Sea of Ether was instantly devoured.
The next mont, Richard hurled the spear sharply, piercing through one manifestation’s body in an instant. Ether then exploded, pulverizing the manifestation instantaneously.
At the sa ti, he appeared beside another manifestation.
“Do you know? I finally understand the power of this path.”
Richard smiled, greeted a manifestation, and then gently swung a punch. The punch appeared soft and weak, seemingly without the use of the Power of Dinsion.
However, at this mont, Richard was no longer the Richard of old.
The cells within him had matured considerably after months of infusion from the Civilization Dinsion.
This punch seed light, but in reality, it was the result of the collective power of nurous dinsional cells. Imagine, when tens of trillions of dinsional cells move together, even if so of these cells are only the size of a small town, the force they generate together is astounding.
And Richard could perfectly harness this power.
Boom!
In the face of such enormous power, this Breaking Limit manifestation was shattered instantly.
The remaining Mokar and his manifestation took the opportunity to escape into the Endless Dinsion, but how could Richard let them go?
Crossing through the Dinsion Gate, his divinely empowered gravitational pull enveloped the two like a tide. With an almost continuous influx of Energy and Power of Dinsion, this gravitational tide was enough to drag an entire Great World.
Since becoming a Leader, Richard’s strength had continuously improved every mont.
The raging gravity held the two in place, and then, the fiery Miracle Fire ignited on their bodies.
Richard looked in the direction of the Galaxy Great World, and in an instant, two equally cold gazes t.
After breaking through the limit, Richard naturally no longer needed to be bound by his form; a soul structure similar to the pure Evolver akin to the Civilization Devourer had already been adopted as his combat form.
Emotions, although important, at tis are rely burdens.
The Civilization Devourer withdrew its gaze; despite losing four Breaking Limit Sovereigns, it had gained far more this ti.
…
Returning to the Wizard Alliance, Richard imdiately brought Horad to the Council Hall of the Wizard Dinsion, while Sha Mantian went to arrange for the civilization fire seed they brought back—Richard’s rescue of Horad had taken two months, during which the Alliance had already discussed and prepared a placent area.
In the hall, the Sovereigns looked at a sowhat weary, yet unscathed Horad, and the atmosphere imdiately lightened.
“See, I knew Miracle would be able to fetch him.” Wild Wind laughed, speaking to Lakate beside him.
Horad, looking at the many Sovereigns present, felt a sense of relief creeping into his heart.
He could tell that none of the Sovereigns present were weak. With such formidable strength, even if they couldn’t defeat the Civilization Devourer, escaping certainly wouldn’t be impossible.
“This is your seat.”
Richard snapped his fingers, and a chair beside the round table shifted slightly, leaving an empty spot.
Horad took his seat; though it was his first ti attending an Alliance eting, he didn’t feel any apprehensive emotions.
As soon as he settled in, he spoke directly: “The situation is very dire now. Unless any unforeseen events arise, the Spirit Desert Civilization, other than our group, has been entirely devoured by that monster.”
“We’ve heard about the Wind Catcher’s report,” Richard spoke slowly, “But I doubt the Wind Catcher’s information is as detailed as yours.
We’d like to hear a more in-depth account.”
Horad sighed, a few bright sparks emanating from him.
“Our defense strategy had issues. We built the frontlines to be indestructible, but they bypassed it through the Endless Dinsion and directly teleported to our rear.
Even though we recaptured the world as quickly as possible, the lack of supplies still caused problems in the frontline battle.
But everyone here knows that when facing that monster, there can be no flaws at all.
They found the cracks in our defenses, shattering them like a blade. We attempted to reclaim it, but they used another nearly inconceivable weapon.
Ladies and gentlen, have you seen a fortress the size of a world?”
The atmosphere in the hall paused slightly.
“…I have,” Lakate spoke slowly, “They used that against us. If not for Miracle’s help, our mother world would have been overrun.”
“But our luck is even worse.” Horad’s voice carried the sorrow of the Deep Sea. “Our howorld has fallen.”
…
The fall of the howorld is an imnse sha and sorrow for any civilization, any race.
Although only the Eye Demon among the many civilizations present had experienced a similar situation, they could all understand Horad’s sadness.
“But fortunately, you are still alive.” Richard said softly, “Civilization is made up of people. As long as you are here, the Spirit Desert Civilization still exists.
If civilization remains, then there is still hope.”
Horad composed himself and continued, “Moreover, we have so intelligence. Our detection team in the Endless Dinsion discovered so extrely abnormal dinsional fluctuations.
The Civilization Devourer seems to be migrating so things on a large scale.
After comparing the data, we found that the fluctuations from the World Fortress’s jump were very similar to those they discovered.
If nothing unexpected occurs, the Civilization Devourer seems to be conducting a large-scale migration on a world scale.”
“Detection team?” Alchemy Crown suddenly spoke, “You can allow ordinary creatures to enter the Endless Dinsion for surveillance?”
The special nature of the Endless Dinsion makes it lethal to creatures below the level of a World Master.
Not to ntion the almost energy vacuum environnt, where ordinary creatures enter and imdiately suffer energy leakage due to the energy difference. Just encountering Dinsional Creatures would be enough for ordinary creatures to have a hard ti.
“Yes, just a slight modification of the environnt will do.” Horad seed puzzled, “In our technical exchanges, I rember there was technology for environntal modification.”
Richard looked at Alchemy Crown, who also appeared confused.
“I know about this, but how do you handle intelligence transmission? Moreover, the Endless Dinsion is so vast, how do you manage to…”
“Of course, it’s not fully monitored.” Horad interrupted, “This team is temporarily dispatched for detecting dinsional jumps and only monitors the Hub World.
As for information transmission… that’s our new technology. It doesn’t require a World Master, just a bit of Dinsional Treasures.”
“I think you’d better set aside those minor issues first.” The voice of the Great World Tree suddenly arose, “The situation Horad described, I have seen before.
If my guess is correct, that monster is building a wall now.
He is using world splicing technology to splice many worlds together.”
“Splice them together?”
The many Dominators were sowhat puzzled by the remark.
“What benefit does that serve him?” Lakate asked.
“There is.” The voice of the Great World Tree was sowhat ethereal, as if lost in ancient mories.
“Actually, in our ti, the worlds in this world community were very sparse. Most of the worlds you see now were later created by the Alliance.
Logically, the world community shouldn’t be so sparse. After the Supre’s research, we discovered a terrifying hypothesis—those worlds were eaten.”
When the Civilization Devourer appeared later, we confird this hypothesis.
Those worlds were indeed devoured by the Civilization Devourer, and the purpose of devouring them was to create its huge size.
Those devoured worlds were like its armor, able to resist attacks or serve as weapons for attack.
More importantly, they themselves could be used as a battlefield.”
At this point, the many Dominators understood the Great World Tree’s implication.
“This is an open conspiracy.” Richard said softly, “We must kill him, and He’s certain of that… No wonder I always felt sothing was off with Him; if nothing unexpected happens, the injuries inflicted by the King of Titans back then must have exceeded our imagination.
It’s not just a simple serious injury, but a complete fall in life level.
He now needs a grand war as a ritual to return to his forr state.”
“Sounds like we’re all just offerings.” Beelzebub’s voice carried a touch of humor.
Richard leaned back on the seat, his voice tinged with determination.
“This is a race against ti. We must kill him before he advances.”
…
“That little sapling is right.”
In the Abyssal Archive, the King of Titans nodded slightly.
“That guy is indeed building a wall, and he’s a coward. Under the threat of Destiny, He is bound to adopt a conservative strategy.”
Richard sat across from the King of Titans, gently rubbing his brow.
“How did you defeat it back then? Logically, He could easily crush the three of you.”
The King of Titans smiled faintly, “He is a greedy one, the greater the intensity of the war, the more He feeds. So He always deliberately maintained the intensity of the war, slowly devouring us.
He is, after all, an Eight and a Half Level Creature; from His perspective, our chance of turning the tables was negligible.”
“But that slim chance still appeared.” Richard said softly.
The King of Titans shook his head gently, “It didn’t appear, we found it. Speaking of which, you probably haven’t passed the last trial yet.”
“Right, I will go after speaking with you.”
“Then you can go now.” The expression of the King of Titans turned slightly serious, “I need that crystal chip as a dium.”
