Capítulo 992: Chapter 144: Technical Support from the Ghost Craftsn

Eliminating part of the Civilization Devourer should have been a joyful occasion.

Yet the abnormal actions of the Civilization Devourer cast a shadow over the hearts of many Dominators.

“Old Tree, have you seen this kind of situation before?” Richard asked solemnly.

“No,” the Great World Tree shook slightly, “I can’t understand its actions. The Great World’s Origin shouldn’t be more special than other World Origins, I don’t understand why it sent away that fragnt.”

“…Perhaps the Monster World is indeed special.” Richard fell silent for a mont, then shook his head and said.

The Monster World’s peculiar nature ranks highly even within the entire Star Realm. A world capable of free movent and even beginning to leap into the Endless Dinsion is practically a nightmare presence in civilizational wars.

It doesn’t even require transformation, just a bit of propulsion will suffice.

In its presence, the World Fortress is nothing more than a larger battleship.

If one dares to invade, the Ghost Craftsn of the Monster World, two or three Elders can handle it.

“Miracle, sothing went wrong at the front line, we must return.” The Plastic Energy Crown suddenly changed his expression, speaking urgently.

“There’s a problem here too,” Wild Wind spoke almost simultaneously, “that monster launched a major offensive. I have to go back.”

“We also discovered the Civilization Devourer’s corps.”

The two Divine Kings of the Gods Civilization also received the news, however, the success of Dusk gave them so confidence, and they did not panic.

Richard exhaled, and slowly said, “Then you all return to the front line first, I’ll handle the matters of the Monster World. I believe after this incident, the Ghost Craftsn will give us a satisfactory answer.”

Inside the Monster World, Moon Elder Village.

A Dinsion Gate slowly opened.

The Great Elder looked at Richard who crossed the Dinsion Gate, asking sowhat hurriedly.

“How is that hamr to use?”

“…Great Elder, is this the most important thing to you right now?”

Hearing the Great Elder’s question, Richard felt his mind halt for a mont. The Monster World had just suffered an attack, nearly getting devoured whole; although the problem was resolved, a chunk of the Great World had been bitten off.

In such a situation, the first question from the Great Elder, the leader of the Ghost Craftsn, was how the World War Hamr was to use.

“Otherwise?” The Great Elder retorted, “You wouldn’t think we are particularly fond of this world, do you? We stopped it from being devoured simply because our fate is tied to it; if it gets swallowed by that beast, we are done for.”

The Monster World nurtured the Ghost Craftsn, but also imprisoned them. Had these Ghost Craftsn not discovered worlds beyond, they might have been very thankful for this world.

However, they saw the endless Star Realm and even the Endless Dinsion beyond the Monster World.

When they witnessed all this, the Monster World was no longer a beautiful utopia for them, but a cage imprisoning them.

“But it’s not rely a prison,” Richard said softly, “Great Elder, you know why I am here. What is the choice of the Ghost Craftsn?”

The Great Elder paused in silence, and then asked again, “How is that hamr to use?”

“Excellent, a master work, just that I’ve only received the hamr, and can’t develop its full strength yet.”

“That’s good. It’s my best work to date, and the best creation of the entire Great World. If you’re not in a hurry, I have so minor details to finish…”

“Great Elder, what are you avoiding?”

“…You are really uninteresting.”

The Great Elder sighed, and in the black ink drawn eyes of his, Richard saw a hint of helplessness and sorrow.

“We do despise that guy indeed, but that guy is too strong. Although you possess Destiny, believe , that beast’s research into Destiny is definitely on par with yours.

Your hope… is slim.”

“Hope is always slim,” Richard’s voice was calm, “but we cannot neglect the existence of hope just because it’s slim.

The Wizard Alliance needs the aid of the Ghost Craftsn.”

Upon hearing this, the Great Elder deeply sighed, and the black lines drawn to depict his sigh tumbled to the ground, producing a dull sound.

“We can cooperate, we can help you forge so weapons, as recompense for your life-risking visit. But if you want us to fully enter the fray… I’m sorry, we do not provide that service.

Survival is the primary task of all races.”

“Weapons are not enough,” Richard’s voice suddenly deepened, “we need more than weapons, we need technical support.

I can assure you to stay in the rear and handle logistics, but you must do your utmost to assist us.

Great Elder, hope cannot be ignored just because it is slim; if we succeed, you will no longer have to hide and lurk.”

“This… I need to consult them.”

The Great Elder hesitated for a mont; if it were only himself, he would have already agreed. He had long resented the Civilization Devourer, and with an opportunity to eliminate him, he absolutely supported it.

However, his willingness does not an that others are willing as well.

Although he is the Great Elder, this does not an he can ignore the opinions of other ghost elders.

Richard nodded slightly, “I understand, I’ll wait for you here.”

The Great Elder turned and entered the Pantheon where the Miracle Fire was observed. Not long after, Richard heard a series of muffled voices from inside the Pantheon, as if there was a dispute going on.

But the voices were so fragnted that even Richard could not discern their content.

The argunt lasted nearly a day, and finally, the noise subsided. The Great Elder erged with a hint of a smile on his face.

“I have persuaded them, but we have a condition.”

“What condition?”

“Not to sign the Destiny Contract.”

Richard raised an eyebrow, “Great Elder, you must be aware you have a previous record.”

The Great Elder naturally understood what Richard was referring to and imdiately retorted, “Our agreent with the Gods stipulated that we have the freedom to leave at any ti.”

“Is that so? Then why do they hold a grudge against you?”

“Perhaps because the timing of our departure was rather coincidental. They were engaged in a significant battle at the ti.”

“… Great Elder, your explanation isn’t convincing.” Richard’s expression gradually beca serious, “Is there a problem with the Destiny Contract?”

“Signing the Destiny Contract would entwine our fates,” the Great Elder sighed, “If you fail, that monster could trace the connection to find us.

By that ti, we would have no one to turn to for help.”

“But I think this could further stimulate everyone’s abilities,” Richard said softly, “Those with a way out always tend to think about retreating.”

“This is a necessary condition, Wizard,” the Great Elder’s voice was almost pleading, “We have barely found a way to escape, and none of us wish to die.”

Richard was silent. The Great Elder had stated it so clearly, aning there was likely no room for negotiation on this condition.

“… I have a compromise,” Richard thought for a mont and then said, “I can refrain from signing a Destiny Contract with the Monster World, but I will need to sign one with you.”

He smiled, “Great Elder, we need so assurance. I trust in your will to survive. When we sign the contract, you will certainly ensure the Monster World’s contribution, right?”

The Great Elder looked at Richard. Although Richard smiled, he could guarantee that if he refused, they would surely regret it.

He suddenly rembered that Richard seed to be able to control that fla.

“I… agree.”

After hesitating for a mont, the Great Elder agreed to Richard’s proposal. He signed a contract with the Wizard Alliance, acting as a supervisor for the Monster World. In return, the Wizard Alliance would protect the Monster World with all its strength to prevent it from being devoured by the Civilization Devourer.

With the completion of the contract, the Great Elder imdiately joined forces with the many ghost elders to begin shifting the world’s coordinates.

In the Pantheon, Richard watched as nurous ghost elders gathered together, using their will to communicate with the World Origin.

Suddenly, even Richard felt an overwhelming wave of power. In front of this power, Richard felt as if he were a small boat on the sea.

“Is this the power of the Monster World?”

Richard felt a tinge of shock. This power was even more imnse than the Power of World Origin he had felt in the Wizard World.

Moreover, this power of the world origin felt extrely stable to him, like… Magic Power controlled by spiritual power.

Under the control of the many ghost elders, the Monster World quickly began to move.

This movent seed completely illogical because the Monster World did not release any energy externally. It was like a sailing ship on the sea, naturally moving with the wind and the waves.

“What kind of technology is this?” Richard couldn’t help but ask, “How is the Great World able to move?”

“It hasn’t moved,” the Great Elder looked up and replied, “The Great World hasn’t moved; it’s the space that’s moving. The space we’re in is shifting within the greater space, driven by the influence of the Great World itself on space.

This technique isn’t difficult, as long as you can communicate with the World Origin, you can do it too.”

“Can it be used in the Star Realm?”

“No, the space in the Star Realm is too fragile, and its spatial strength isn’t sufficient to drive the Great World.”

“What about with a Miniature World or a Small World?”

“A Miniature World could use it, but for a Small World, it might be a bit dangerous.”

Richard nodded slightly, but his heart trembled a little.

If this technology is truly that simple, then the Guardians of the Sub-human World in the Wizard World might co into play.

The World Guardians themselves are not equipped for offense; their battlefield is within the world. Once they leave the world, their combat power rapidly decreases. If they stay out too long, the World Origin might even forcibly summon them back or use its power to put them into a backlash state.

But if this technology could be widely used… then these World Guardians’ usefulness would increase significantly.
