Buzz— Buzz— Buzz—
A barrage of purple flashes streaked across the sky, accompanied by a piercing energy hum.
In the sky, a massive war fortress hovered like a floating continent, making the already gloomy world even darker.
Countless Furnace Man battleships flew out from it, launching one Furnace Man army after another.
Boom!
The barrage of purple flashes collided with the Furnace Man fleet, instantly piercing through the battleships’ energy barriers, leaving lting holes in the solid armor.
Soon, the barrage ended.
Over half of the Furnace Man fleet was lted down, and the remaining ships had no choice but to maximize the power of their barrier generators.
"Furnace Man calling Big Guy, Furnace Man calling Big Guy, there’s an over-the-horizon cluster formation sniping the fortress fleet, ti to stretch your muscles a bit."
The Furnace Man ssage traveled through the communication system beyond the world, where countless ships, like sky islands, divided the sky above half the world. Among them, countless reconnaissance aircraft continuously observed every movent on the ground.
With the appearance of the Furnace Man ssage, these island-like ships began to move.
"Coordinates 1245, 4579, prepare for an aerial strike." The cold voice of the Titan Commander spread through the communication system, "Repeat, coordinates 1245, 4579, prepare for an aerial strike."
"Aerial Strike Unit has received the ssage."
At the lowest level of the ship, Titans over ten ters tall, wearing Rune chas, began entering the drop pods. The strength of these Titans had approached that of a World Master, and with the recovery of the Civilization Devourer’s injuries, its legion’s strength had also improved.
So elite legions of the Predecessor Civilization Alliance began to appear on a large scale.
A guiding beam shot out from the fleet’s lower layer, a crimson light piercing through the World Barrier, precisely locking onto the Eye Demon’s over-the-horizon cluster strike formation.
Imdiately, the aerial strike comnced.
The bottom of the sky island ships opened, with the drop pods, their tail flas ablaze, crashing down like teors onto the formation.
Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!
The shrill alarm echoed throughout the cluster strike formation, followed by the commander’s orders sounding in every Eye Demon’s ears on the formation.
"Detected aerial strike, intercept with full force."
In an instant, tens of thousands of over-the-horizon turrets on the cluster strike formation transford simultaneously.
These transforming turrets resembled giant regular icosahedrons, each face engraved with nurous patterns, the material appearing incredibly sturdy.
But upon closer inspection, one would notice a slight incongruity, as if this substance shouldn’t exist in this world.
Then, these turrets began morphing as if made of clay, their surface patterns changing accordingly, transforming within a breath into objects resembling pepper shakers.
Energy continuously accumulated within the pepper shakers, the highly concentrated energy almost warping the space itself.
In the sky, the fire from the drop pods resembled shooting stars, but the Eye Demon Commander had yet to issue an order.
He seed to be waiting for a mont.
Suddenly, the massive drop pods split apart, transforming into dozens of smaller drop pods, scattering like dandelions toward the ground.
At that mont, the Eye Demon Commander’s order was issued.
"Activate at maximum output."
Buzz!
A purple beam over a ter in diater shot skyward, precisely targeting each drop pod. The frenzied energy tore through the drop pod defenses in an instant, annihilating the Titans within at an alarming speed.
Even though the Titans’ strength had reached near World Master levels, in the current war, a Fourth Level World Master was just a super-soldier.
With all the drop pods cleared, a sense of exhilaration could be heard in the Eye Demon Commander’s voice.
"Threat neutralized, continue the over-the-horizon strike."
The turrets swiftly changed form, ready to resu their tasks. But before they could revert to a regular icosahedron shape, shrill alarms echoed anew.
This ti, the alarms were even more intense, as if the wails of an Evil Ghost from Hell, sending chills down one’s spine.
"Not good, relocate the formation!"
As the alarms blared, the Eye Demon Commander’s order echoed through the communication system.
All the turrets transford into spindle shapes, moving towards the next formation like a school of fish.
They had been fighting the Civilization Devourer for a long ti, and had developed a set of comprehensive counterasures for various strikes... Boom!
A flash of light streaked across the sky, landing precisely in the center of the Eye Demon formation.
Imdiately, a frenzied gravitational force tore through the space, consuming the Eye Demons who hadn’t yet escaped the formation.
Witnessing this, a sense of astonishnt flashed in the Eye Demon Commander’s eyes underground.
"Gravitational strike... Damn it, these guys’ strike speed has surpassed our reconnaissance limit, report imdiately!"
Before he could finish his sentence, another flash of light streaked across the sky.
This ti, the flash’s target was right in the center of the Eye Demon formation.
Boom!
An invisible gravitational storm appeared again, erasing the entire formation in an instant.
...
"7895 formation annihilated, thirty-two personnel remaining. Intelligence confird, enemy strength has increased compared to before, and the use of annihilation weapons has beco normalized."
In the General Command, the Eye Demon Commander listened to his subordinate’s report without uttering a single sound.
After a mont, the General Commander opened his mouth and said, "Regarding the normalized use of annihilation weapons, do any of you have ideas?"
The General Commander’s eyes swept over those around him, and among them, more than a dozen Eye Demon Commanders remained silent.
What opinions could they have on this matter?
Destruction weapons are the most potent weapons available for warfare at the base level.
Depending on the type, these destruction weapons can either easily destroy fortresses or wipe out entire regints in an instant.
And to counter destruction weapons, the only option is to retaliate with even more destruction weapons.
As long as they eliminate the opposition before they can act, there’s no need to worry about the use of destruction weapons.
However, the location they are currently in makes none of them dare to issue this countering command.
Their current battlefield is the Eternal Dark World, the mother world of the Eye Demon Clan.
If the war escalates into a battle of destruction weapons, the damage to the mother world would be imasurable.
This responsibility can only be shouldered by the many Elders. These Commanders simply cannot bear it.
"No one wants to speak? No one wants to speak, then I’ll say it."
The General Commander looked at the silent Commanders and calmly spoke.
"We have reached the most critical mont, if we cannot achieve victory, then all our protection of the mother world is aningless.
Therefore, I now issue a General Command, fully unrestricting all destruction weapons, and delegating usage permissions to the Field Commanders."
After saying this, the General Commander’s gaze swept over the Commanders.
"Do any of you have any objections?"
"...Yes, General Commander, sir."
...
"Haha, worm, follow to the Star Realm."
In the boundless Sea of Ether, a massive Dinsion Gate suddenly opened. Shortly after, a gigantic black figure rode a massive worm and rushed out from it.
The Dinsion Worm is one of the most terrifying creatures in the Endless Dinsion, but this does not an it remains powerful upon entering the Star Realm.
Upon entering the Star Realm, the frenzied ether of the Sea of Ether imdiately began to erode the body of the Dinsion Worm.
The Dinsion Worm possesses elent resistance of the four elents and resistance to the power of dinsion, but the ether is neither constructed from the four elents nor from the power of dinsion.
The resistances of the Dinsion Worm are nullified in front of the ether.
At one end of the King of Dinsion Worms, Richard held gravitational reins in his hand, continuously directing the path of the Dinsion Worm.
The Dinsion Worm is not bound by the rationality of normal intelligent beings, not even at the Breaking Limit level.
Attracted by Richard, this beast chased from the buffering zone to the storm zone, and then from the storm zone all the way through the dinsion storm, entering the void of the endless dinsion.
And this was essentially a path to self-destruction.
In the dinsion storm, the King of Dinsion Worms could devour the storm to recover, and launch attacks with it, but beyond the storm, it was different.
Thus, after being weakened, this King of Dinsion Worms was harnessed by Richard, ridden into the Star Realm like a mount.
"Antioch, are the coordinates you gave correct?"
Richard’s voice resonated within the dinsion of cells, and Antioch, who was recuperating, imdiately responded: "Yes, the coordinates I provided are indeed those of our mother world."
"Then it could be troubleso."
Richard looked at the distant world, where, at the limit of his vision, countless Titan Battleships nearly covered half of the world barrier.
"The Civilization Devourers have already begun their assault on your mother world."
"What!"
Antioch’s voice was filled with shock. He had only been away for a little over a year, and although their defense line was a bit thin, it should have held for several years.
How could it have been breached so quickly?
"I don’t know, that’s why I suggest you co out and take a look."
With a wave of his hand, Richard gathered the surrounding ether, forming spikes that pinned into the body of the King of Dinsion Worms.
This King of Dinsion Worms was a rare specin, and Richard intended to keep it as a specin for his collection.
The Dinsion Gate opened, and Antioch erged, his gaze imdiately fixed on the distant world.
Though separated by several light-seconds, Antioch could still recognize it.
That was their mother world, the Eternal Dark World.
"Lord Miracle, that is indeed our mother world."
"Well, it seems your defense line isn’t as strong as you thought."
Richard’s gaze scanned the fleet, constantly searching for any anti-Dominator weaponry.
Both the Civilization Alliance of previous civilizations and the Civilization Devourers possessed technology to target Dominators.
Among these, weapons targeting the Breaking Limit Sovereign were not uncommon, and there were even those designed against leaders.
Though Richard’s strength at this mont could be considered invincible amongst the Breaking Limit class, caution is always warranted.
If the waves are too big, the boat might capsize.
Once assured that there were no hidden weapons against Dominators, a slight smile appeared on Richard’s face.
"In that case, I’ll be taking over this fleet."
