Hearing the Balance speak so casually, Richard couldn’t help but twitch slightly at the corner of his eye.

So if he wasn’t the chosen one, he deserved to die, right?

Looking at the Hermit’s Robe in the Sand Spirit’s hand, it appeared rather plain at first glance, with a grayish hue. However, upon closer inspection, it was actually covered with unimaginably intricate patterns.

These patterns were so dense that they were almost invisible.

Richard could feel that these patterns flowed with the Power of Dinsion. This power circulated endlessly, like atmospheric currents.

The Balance did not urge him. It was a Prophet, believing that everything was arranged by Destiny.

"Misfortune, huh. I hope this misfortune isn’t too terrible."

Richard took the robe and draped it over himself.

Putting on the robe now was undoubtedly an unwise decision, but if he didn’t, the Sand Spirit’s ancestors would never have allowed him to take the robe away.

This was a test.

Only the true chosen one could overco this test.

As he put on the robe, Richard suddenly shivered. A foreboding shadow lood over his heart, making him sowhat uneasy.

But soon enough, Richard forcibly dispelled this feeling.

Worrying about misfortune was aningless.

The Hermit’s Robe was indeed flowing with the Power of Dinsion that Richard had sensed, a power of imnse potential.

Even the King of Titans would not dare claim to have understood the secrets of the Power of Dinsion.

As he donned the robe, the Miracle Furnace provided information.

[Material: Hermit’s Robe]

[Extractable Skill: Dinsional Line Weaving Technique]

[Refining Consumption: 2000 spiritual power]

[Extractable Information: Hermit’s Robe Blueprint]

[Refining Consumption: 1000 spiritual power]

Seeing the information from the Miracle Furnace, Richard confird that he had made the right choice.

A skill worth two thousand spiritual power, and a blueprint worth one thousand spiritual power, plus a robe that brings peace of mind once worn, was definitely worth the risk.

Richard focused his thoughts, and the Hermit’s Robe entered the Miracle Furnace as refining material, being refined for skills and information.

In response, neither the Balance nor the collective of the Sand Spirit’s ancestors — the Sand Spirit Prophet — showed any reaction.

Richard had donned the robe and accepted the misfortune that ca with it.

Thus, the robe was now Richard’s personal possession.

Whatever Richard chose to do with it was his own freedom.

"Aren’t you curious about what I did?" Richard suddenly asked.

"It’s your robe; you can do whatever you want with it."

"How many surviving Prophets are there?" Richard asked again.

"No one survived," the Sand Spirit Prophet replied. "I am both an individual and a collective. One of , along with the Curse Wizard, went to track that monster.

The rest of stayed behind with the Hermit’s Robe, waiting for your arrival."

Richard was taken aback, and his brow furrowed instantly.

"So, you’re saying that the remaining few civilizations might not even know of my existence. They might not even be aware of the Civilization Devourer."

"Yes, but they all have contingency plans. Just go ahead.

But bear in mind, not all civilizations have Prophets. Those without a Prophet can still serve as allies."

Richard exhaled, feeling the weight on his shoulders growing heavier.

Initially, he only needed to concern himself with his own survival. Then, he had to consider the lives around him, and later, the rise and fall of entire civilizations.

Now, the survival of entire world communities’ civilizations rested on his shoulders.

This heavy burden might even crush a high official.

However, responsibility cannot be avoided.

"In that case, I’ll take my leave," Richard said, slightly bowing to the Sand Spirit Prophet.

"Farewell, chosen one. May the next ti we et, that monster is already vanquished by the Alliance’s forces."

Richard smiled slightly.

"Let’s hope so."

...

Extracting skills worth two thousand spiritual power took quite a lot of effort, and after eleven hours, the skill was finally extracted.

And the blueprint took Richard a full hour as well.

It seed a thousand spiritual power was a threshold. Anything exceeding a thousand, whether skill or information, significantly increased extraction ti.

In the Star Realm, Richard integrated the newly extracted skill into his soul.

In an instant, he felt himself transform into a strange race.

This race seed to be a type of spider that spun threads, wove webs, and captured prey within these webs, appearing rather simple.

However, the prey this race captured were massive, gigantic Magic Beasts.

The webs ensnared their prey like ropes, and a single hunt was swiftly completed.

But this was only the most basic web.

Illusions shifted, and the spider form of Richard began learning from the elders of his group how to weave more complex webs.

From the simplest sticky webs, to slightly advanced twisted rope webs, and then to even more advanced capture nets... Before this, Richard never imagined there were so many variations of webs.

With each lesson, the spider form of Richard continued to grow.

After becoming the World Master, it finally began creating its own web.

Energy webs, rule webs, information webs, webs of mystic power... all kinds of astonishing webs were crafted by him.

His form grew larger and larger, while the webs he wove beca increasingly complex.

Eventually, he set his sights on the Endless Dinsion.

Those dinsion ribbons looked like magnified threads.

From a sufficiently grand perspective, perhaps the entire Endless Dinsion might be a massive web.

And so, he began to consu dinsions, exhaling and inhaling threads, and a web with a diater exceeding a thousand flowing light years was born among the dinsions.

"What a terrifying civilization," Richard mumbled to himself.

The illusion had not yet ended, and the grand-dinsional web was only the beginning. The entity crafting the Hermit’s Robe was not content with just that.

His creations grew smaller and smaller, the web beca denser and he beca more adept at dinsion weaving.

He began to continuously integrate other things into the threads; mystic power, curse s, and even destiny were woven into the threads.

Finally, the web transford into cloth, and thus the Hermit’s Robe was born.

"Astonishing craftsmanship," Richard exclaid from the depths of his heart upon awakening from the illusion.

Without a doubt, this technique called the Dinsional Line Weaving Technique is an incredibly advanced skill. All the various operations involved would take thousands of years or even several epochs to study.

Richard could almost be certain that apart from the residual soul of the King of Titans, no other creature in the world community could master a more profound technique than this dinsional weaving.

Gently raising his hand, a vast amount of dinsion force continuously transford in Richard’s hand, ultimately forming into a thread.

This thread appeared to be extrely fragile, as if a gentle tug would break it. But in reality, this thread was an extrely degraded Miracle Dinsion, without Dominator Level power, it could not be hard at all.

This was just a basic dinsional thread.

As Richard held this thread, a sound of tal friction suddenly resonated from his body, and the pitch-black Shan Hai erged like a black snake from Richard’s sleeve.

Richard gripped both the Shan Hai and dinsional line together, and then, the power of dinsions began to flow.

The vast dinsion force in Richard’s palm turned into an extrely complex array, appearing to be an extrely intricate web.

Under the effect of the array, the dinsional thread unexpectedly rged with the Shan Hai.

Buzz!

Trendous energy erupted from the Shan Hai, nearly instantly clearing the ether for tens of thousands of miles around.

The Shan Hai intertwined with dinsional threads twisted like a group of serpents, exhibiting a transformation akin to life’s evolution within it.

Although dinsional threads can be artificially created, they are a kind of transcendent treasure. In the Dinsional Line Weaving Technique, there is a thod specifically for rging dinsional threads into other objects.

Richard’s eyes shifted, and the exterior of Shan Hai faded before him, replaced by clusters of complex rules.

Within Shan Hai at this mont lie three sets of rules: the material world rules of Shan Hai itself, which is its foundation. The second set is the dark red Abyss Rules, representing Abyss Curse.

The final set is the Miracle Rules, representing the dinsional thread Richard had just integrated.

These three sets of rules continuously clashed and rged, among which, the material world rules were the weakest because the Illusion Rules could encompass the material world rules. The Abyss Rules resisted fiercely, as the Abyss will never submit to the weak.

The most dominant, naturally, was the dinsional thread Richard had integrated, his Miracle Rules.

The dinsion force continually surged into the Shan Hai, and the Miracle Rules representing the dinsional thread gradually suppressed the other two rules.

Ultimately, the Abyss too submitted to the Miracle Rules, becoming part of the Miracle Rules’ coordination.

The evolution of Shan Hai was thus completed.

Buzz!

Another buzzing sound erged.

The Shan Hai fused with the dinsional thread showed no change on the surface, but it now carried a vast and imnse aura.

It seed as if it was not just a chain, but an imasurably vast world.

"What a splendid technique."

Richard gazed at Shan Hai, a hint of enchantnt flickering in his eyes.

With the integration of the dinsional thread, Shan Hai no longer faced the risk of being destroyed. Because Shan Hai itself equates to a tangible dinsion.

Unless there was a force capable of shattering a dium-sized world with one strike, Shan Hai was equivalent to an unbreakable golden body.

Moreover, because the material world rules of Shan Hai were commanded, Richard didn’t even need to find rules for Shan Hai; it had its own complete set of rules.

In other words, enchantnt was no longer necessary for Shan Hai.

Richard could directly weave the rules within Shan Hai to achieve the effects he wanted. Even if there were no rules he needed, Shan Hai could consu materials with corresponding rules to supplent itself.

Of course, all this ca at a cost.

Previously, Shan Hai consud energy, the power of the Abyss. But now, every move it made consud dinsion force.

However, compared to the transformation of Shan Hai, all this was worth it.

Picking up Shan Hai, a dinsion rift unfolded before Richard.

In the past twelve hours, Richard had completed an alliance with the Spirit Desert Civilization.

The technical exchange had been achieved, and Richard now needed to return to the Wizard Alliance to prepare the first batch of support materials.

The vast and boundless void behind the rift resembled the open mouth of a giant beast.

Richard suddenly shivered.

He could sense that misfortune had already begun to turn.
