Capítulo 1001: Chapter 153: The War to End All Things (Part 1)

The news of the final battle’s initiation spread across the entire Wizard Alliance in less than an hour after its announcent.

Everyone knew that the alliance would soon go to war, but few had expected the war to begin so swiftly.

“I have to leave now, Donna.”

In front of the War Airship, Richard and Donna shared a hug. Afterward, he looked at the girl next to Donna, who bore a strong resemblance to her—Donna’s daughter who kept Gao Wen tied down.

“Mosca, I’m leaving.”

Even though they had known each other for many years, Gao Wen always felt an inexplicable awkwardness in front of Mosca.

He felt he wasn’t much older than this child.

“Dad, go for it.”

Mosca embraced Gao Wen warmly, filled with enthusiasm and admiration, unlike Gao Wen’s awkwardness.

As a recipient of the Miracle dal, he was a hero of the entire Wizard Civilization, and a source of pride for Mosca.

After their goodbyes, Gao Wen said no more, gesturing to Asu before boarding the airship.

The War Airship emitted a slight hum of energy and then soared into the sky.

In the sky, the War Airship blotted out the sun.

“Mom, we should head back now.”

Watching the airship gradually disappear into the sky, Mosca spoke softly.

“Mm.”

Donna withdrew her gaze, and the worry on her face instantly transford into determination.

War is not only about the frontline; logistics is also a crucial part. With Gao Wen at the frontlines, she couldn’t afford any slack in the rear.

Miracle School Headquarters.

“Ali, you are staying behind,” Richard’s voice was extraordinarily firm, “There is no room for negotiation.

Every school has its successor, and you are the successor of the Physique School. This is the decision of your teacher’s Physique Crown!”

“Richard! There is a better candidate for the successor of the Physique School…”

“There is no better choice!” Richard interrupted sternly, “I know you think I’ve discussed sothing with the Physique, but I assure you, I haven’t. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have put Wuni on the throne either.

The Physique chose you!”

As the Wizard Governor, Richard held imnse power, and it would have only taken a word to keep his student, his lover, in the rear.

But he didn’t do that.

This was the ultimate battle, and they had to give it everything they had. As the Wizard Governor, he had to lead by example.

“…Can’t I even fight by your side?” Ali’s voice was almost sobbing.

“I respect the Physique’s choice.” Richard’s voice suddenly softened, “The rear isn’t necessarily less important than the front lines. We cannot rule out the possibility of a Civilization Devourer attacking the rear.

At that ti, soone within the civilization must stand up.”

Ali didn’t answer; she just held Richard tightly, like chains binding him in place. Richard could hear her sobbing. All within the civilization knew that not everyone, not even the Dominators, would return from this war.

Ali also knew Richard’s fate. And now, Richard was racing toward the end of that Thread of Destiny.

A mont later, Ali released her arms.

“Richard, did you make life information preservation?”

“I did… I recomnd against it, as it will deepen the connection of destiny between you and . My war with that monster…”

Richard suddenly stopped, for there was no hint of retreat in Ali’s eyes.

“…Fine, suit yourself.” Richard sighed and ruffled Ali’s hair, “In the drawer of my room.”

Ali nodded slightly, whispering, “Return in triumph.”

Richard turned, as a Rune Gate slowly appeared before him.

“I will try… mm, return in triumph.”

In the void of the Endless Dinsion, a hundred World Fortresses had already assembled.

Due to military reform, the World Fortresses were not divided according to civilization. After all, the legion mbers were integrated, and dividing by civilization would definitely lead to problems.

The Dominators stood around the World Fortresses, which were supposed to be shelters for soldiers, but in the presence of Dominators, they seed sowhat fragile.

Even though they were equipped with weapons ant for Dominators.

“I really envy you,” the Plastic Energy Crown smiled, looking at the returning Richard, “I even… almost forgot what she looks like.”

Richard shook his head, his gaze suddenly turning icy cold.

“Emotions are an unstable factor in war because they interfere with your judgnt.”

“But that’s just how people are,” the Alchemy Crown appeared beside them at so point, “So things, though harmful, we just can’t give up.”

Looking at the two Crowns, Richard suddenly spoke, “…After the war, if I’m still alive, I’ll only serve as Governor for ten thousand years.”

The two Crowns’ eyes flashed with surprise.

“You’re going to rotate?”

“Yes.”

“Why?” the two Dominators asked almost simultaneously. But soon, both burst into laughter.

“The rotation system is indeed quite good,” Alchemy Crown remarked, “Mysteries are far more enticing than power.”

Soon, the Dominators gathered.

There were nine Dominators from the Wizard Civilization participating in the war—apart from the newly ascended Wuni, the Furnace Man Sovereign purified by Richard also joined the Wizard Alliance after personality editing. However, his na was not leaked, only known to the upper echelons of the Alliance.

The Gods Civilization had four—after prolonged warfare, a new Divine King finally erged for the Gods Civilization—the War God King.

There were nine from the Eye Demon Civilization, four from the Abyss Civilization, four from the Natural Federation, six from the Witch Demon Empire, and two from the Spirit Desert Civilization.

Including the nineteen Dominators hired by Richard, the Wizard Alliance now had fifty-seven Dominators in total.

Although this number might seem small, considering that even during the Fireseed Plan period, the Predecessor Civilization Alliance had close to this number of Dominators. However, among them, there were six Leader Dominators and over ten Breaking Limit Sovereigns.

This number, though not at the peak of the Predecessor Civilization Alliance, faced entities that were not peak Civilization Devourers as well.

Not to ntion, Richard had a significant ace up his sleeve.

“Richard, don’t worry about .” The voice of the King of Titans echoed in Richard’s mind, “I will make my move at the most opportune mont.”

Richard cald himself, glancing at the enormous fleet beside him.

“Everyone’s here; let’s set off then.”

Under Richard’s command, the ssage of departure quickly spread through the fleet.

A massive fleet composed of a hundred World Fortresses began to advance “slowly” toward the Civilization Devourers.

This battle would end everything.

Galaxy Great World.

After various modifications by the Civilization Devourers, Galaxy Great World had lost its original appearance.

The rging of thousands of worlds expanded the original Galaxy Great World nearly tenfold. This figure far exceeded the Alchemy Crown’s estimated seven tis. Furthermore, to prevent the rampant spread of Miracle Fire, not a single drop of black liquid could be found on this vast battlefield; instead, there were endless turrets, fortresses, and soldiers.

On this never-ending plain, every inch of land was laced with deadly traps.

The black ocean ford by the Civilization Devourers surged at the center of the land.

One by one, avatars erged, each carrying an aura close to Double Limit Break.

At their center, a creature wearing a Wizard Robe emitted an oppressiveness powerful enough to make Dominators tremble.

Their gaze simultaneously turned to the sky, followed by a colossal dinsion rift appearing in the Star Realm. If the surrounding worlds had not been cleared by the Civilization Devourers, the Ether waves generated by this rift alone would have been enough to tear apart small worlds.

Even the Civilization Devourer itself encountered so defensive issues at its edges.

The frenzied Ether, like an invisible maw, instantly dissolved an area equivalent to a small world into nothingness.

However, the Civilization Devourer paid no attention to these details.

It slowly entered the Endless Dinsion, completely ignoring the areas dissolved by the Ether.

On its body, the Titans and Furnace n steadfastly held their positions.

In their eyes, they too were in a final battle, so each one was filled with fighting spirit.

Buzz!

With an intense dinsional tremor emanating from the dinsion rift, the Civilization Devourer successfully entered the Endless Dinsion.

But at the sa ti, the shockwave propagated through the Void and was detected by the Wizard Alliance a week later.

“It has entered the Endless Dinsion,” Alchemy Crown said solemnly, “Although we have prepared, our soldiers’ combat capabilities will significantly diminish in the Endless Void.”

The Endless Void is a forbidden zone for ordinary creatures; however, the Wizard Alliance was prepared, where fully enclosed Power Armor would prevent soldiers from perishing under energy deficiency.

“We might not manage, but neither will they,” Richard said calmly. “The soldiers it summons, although rely projections, still need to follow the rules.

The only slight pity is that once we enter the Endless Dinsion, obtaining Ether won’t be as easy.”

The Ethereal Decomposition Cannon is one of the anti-Dominator weapons installed by the Wizard Alliance. When converged on a target, this weapon can even shatter Breaking Limit Sovereigns or even Leader Dominators.

Outside the Star Realm, obtaining Ether beca sowhat troubleso.

“It’s simply a matter of opening a few dinsion rifts,” Alchemy Crown said calmly, “What I’m worried about now is whether we can find it.

We cannot rule out the bastard sneaking an attack on our rear.”

“For that, we must consult the Curse.”

Within the World Fleet, the Curse Dominator was in a scented environnt, tracking the Civilization Devourer’s trail.

As the only Dominator not escorting from the outside, his duty was to track his teacher and then guide the fleet.

“Curse, how is the situation?”

“All normal, Your Excellency Governor. That fellow is heading straight for us; it seems eager for this great war as a ritual.”

“That’s good then.”

Richard looked at the Alchemy Crown, his voice carrying a hint of relief.

“All normal…”

Boom!

A loud explosion suddenly erupted beside Richard.

Richard turned, seeing countless light-spear-like objects speeding towards the fleet in the boundless Void.

Both sides knew the other was just ahead, and evidently, the Civilization Devourer was more excited about this war, so it launched so “celebratory” fireworks ahead of ti.

Richard casually shattered two light spears, his voice carrying a tinge of seriousness.

“Notify the fleet, prepare for engagent.”
