"It's been so long since we've seen each other, and the first thing you do is drive away. Am I so unloved by my students?"
Carl chuckled, turning his gaze to Ace:
"No introductions?"
"Right."
Ace licked her lollipop and spoke:
"Barro, who is he?"
"..." Barro sighed and whispered:
"Professor Carl, a leading researcher in genetics. Professor, this is Ace."
"Genetics?" Ace's eyes slightly moved:
"Research on observing and altering genetic factors?"
"Yes." Carl nodded:
"Currently, I'm working on small molecule genetic information screening. If there's progress, it could deduce how genes were inherited in ancient tis."
"Hmm..."
"The human gene sequence from six hundred years ago."
"Great!" Ace clapped her hands, unable to suppress her laughter:
"This is truly excellent!"
"I have indeed been favored by destiny, finding such talent as I wish for."
She looked at Carl and said:
"From now on, you're with ."
"With you?" Carl rubbed his chin, his eyes peculiar:
"What if I say no?"
"No?" Ace's expression darkened:
"Do you think you have a choice? A re mortal, you have no idea who stands before you."
She slowly stood up straight, an overwhelming aura wildly surged, like a black curtain sweeping in all directions.
Behind her, Barro's face showed fear, and his body transford uncontrollably.
His hair turned into long snakes, his arms grew tentacles, glasses erged from his mouth, and his consciousness distorted further.
"Fear?"
Carl raised an eyebrow, gently shook his head:
"Truly, ignorance is bliss."
"Boom!"
The space behind him suddenly collapsed, countless hideous tentacles stretched out from the void, clawing frantically.
Fear Aura!
Fifth Tier!
Even an Ancient God rely existed at the Fourth Tier Peak to Fifth Tier Early Stage.
"Ah!"
Ace's body froze, then scread miserably, her eyes bursting on the spot, her limbs twisted and deford.
Her stark white bones pierced through her flesh, exposing themselves.
"Upper God?"
"No!"
She roared furiously at the sky:
"Who exactly are you?"
"I was once guided by fate, so I saw the future in you." Carl lightly grasped with one hand, pulling Ancient God Ace and Barro into his Divine Domain Fragnt, his grand voice echoing in the air:
"But clearly, you do not belong in the future!"
With the increase of his power, the area of the Divine Domain Fragnt beca vast, long surpassing beyond the size of a city.
Though he only possessed a fragnt of the War God, with ti, it might evolve into a true Divine Domain.
"Die!"
Heart Buddha Hand—Exorcism!
Infinite light surged from Carl, drowning Ancient God Ace completely, dissolving her entirely.
The next mont.
Source Material, 275000
Carl's expression remained unchanged. Now at the Fifth Tier Peak, without becoming a Sixth Tier existence, no amount of Source Material could greatly enhance his strength.
However, as long as he broke through the limit, his power could advance rapidly, reaching the Sixth Tier Peak.
"Ancient God?"
"Foolish, childish!"
Shaking his head, Carl grabbed Barro and returned to the present world; the library's second floor was as calm as ever.
"..."
Barro stamred:
"Professor, you...you are..."
"I am not a god." Carl shook his head:
"Though I have so thods of the Divine, I am not a deity. You could consider a Wizard or an Ancient Knight."
"Speaking of which..."
"It's no wonder the Ancient Gods would be eliminated with such forms."
He started heading downstairs.
"Eliminated?" Barro quickly followed:
"Did the Ancient Gods have any flaws?"
"Indeed." Carl nodded:
"The initial Divine beings were born from human belief, so Gods have the sa desires as humans, but stronger."
"Ancient Gods resembled humans more, possessing desires, manipulating people's hearts, and no matter how long they lived, they couldn't change their nature."
Descending the stairs, he continued:
"Later Divine beings were different. They grew stronger through faith, but were not influenced by it. They stood aloof, overlooking mortals, devoid of human desires, only absolute rationality."
He understands that feeling well; whenever he entered the Divine Domain Fragnt, he would be endowed with absolute rationality.
"Sigh!"
Pausing, Carl sighed softly:
"I never expected that by just bringing a spear to this world, I'd stir such a commotion."
Hmm?
Barro's eyes opened wide.
A spear?
God Slaying Spear?
Professor Carl was that mysterious figure from centuries ago, indirectly causing the fall of the Gods and the world's drastic change?
"Huh?"
At this mont, Carl suddenly looked up toward the sky:
"The mont of destiny is here, but where exactly?"
Even though he sensed fate's guidance on Ancient God Ace, seeing Ace made that feeling disappear.
Now,
The mont of destiny had arrived!
"Barro."
"Ah!"
"Tell about your encounter with the Ancient God," Carl's eyes flickered, his expression growing serious:
"If we can't find a solution, this world might be dood."
"Hmm?" Barro looked shocked.

Temple of Gods.
This was an enormous underground space.
The Barrier left by the Divine beings places this space in a state of void, imperceptible by physical ans.
Twelve statues, each a hundred ters tall, stood within the great hall, three of them now shattered.
The most recently shattered statue belonged to the Praise.
"The mont of destiny has arrived; whether the world is destroyed or reborn depends on our choice."
An ancient voice sounded, and a 'Divine' equipped with twelve wings appeared out of nowhere in the place:
"The power of the Gods has fallen on this continent, destruction..."
"is imminent!"
"Remiller."
"I am here."
A White Dove flew through the void, its eyes brimming with endless wisdom, flashed with light:
"I will inform other forces to seek the person who can change fate."
"Whoosh!"
She lightly fluttered her wings, creating several paths in the void leading to other places, dividing the White Dove into several clones, sending them into these paths.
Remiller.
The ssenger of the gods era.
Possessing a speed beyond all else.
......
Star Realm.
Wandering in the Star Realm, a few powerful beings searching for those with life seed to sense sothing, turning their gaze to the Eastern Kingdom Continent.
"Twilight of the Gods!"
"That is an ancient world."
"Destroying it could prevent the coming of Twilight of the Gods."
"..."
An invisible power surged in the Star Realm, rushing toward the Eastern Kingdom Continent, only to be halted by the fields created by the fallout of the Gods.
But,
So power always manages to seep through.
......
"Wah..."
"Wah!"
Amid the cries of a newborn, Blaze bead with joy, carrying a newly born boy and girl to the pale-faced Monica.
"Look!"
"Our children!"
"It's truly a miracle." Monica reached out her weary arms, embracing the children, whispering:
"For Bloodline to give birth to offspring naturally seems to have broken the curse upon in this area."
"They have no Bloodline power, which is good. Being ordinary is just fine."
......
"Blaze and Monica are trapped in a special place."
Carl frowned:
"If Bloodline can bear offspring..."
"The Gods would never allow such beings to exist, not only this world's Divine, but those of other worlds as well."
The faith of Bloodline is poison to the Gods.
Fortunately, the number of Bloodline is too few to matter.
Once they can reproduce, spreading their bloodline across other worlds, it would inevitably usher in the Twilight of the Gods.
