"Or would you rather fall into soone else’s hands?"

People in the Magic Forest never lacked a spirit of adventure; in fact, characters like Carl’s stoicism were in the minority. After a short period of chaos, many had already rushed into the beast pens to loot amidst the turmoil.

Their thods were far more fierce than Carl’s.

Clad in a Second Order Life Robe and wielding the Dark Moon Staff, Klahe stood in the void, frowning as he looked around with a somber expression.

Here, he could not sense the Star Realm, and even the elental fluctuations in the air were in a state of extre inertia.

This would greatly reduce the power of witchcraft.

"A dinsional barrier?"

"Correct!"

The void in front of him flickered as several figures appeared in succession.

The man in the center had white hair, a face full of wrinkles, and held a strange Magic Wand as he looked at Klahe.

"Old friend, we et again!"

Klahe’s eyes flickered. "It’s you! Wizard Jite, you’re still alive?"

"As long as the Andrew family exists, how could I bear to die?" Jite grinned, revealing a sinister smile.

"Klahe, there’s no use delaying. We’ve investigated thoroughly. The other two Second Circle Wizards of the Andrew family are not nearby. As for the Six Rings Tower..."

He shook his head lightly. "The reason the Six Rings Tower stands so aloof is that they never involve themselves in power struggles among factions."

"It seems you’ve co well-prepared." Klahe’s eyes twitched as he looked at a person next to Jite. "Duns, are you sure you want to be an enemy of our Andrew family?"

"I didn’t want to." Duns, who looked much younger than the other two, sighed lightly. "But Leipzig Market has no room for the Nelson family. Since that’s the case, I had to make the first move."

Duns!

A newly advanced Second Circle Wizard of the Nelson family.

The trap laid today, constructed in collaboration with Wizard Jite, was ant to seize the opportunity to kill Klahe.

By killing Klahe, the Andrew family would be down a powerful Second Circle Wizard and would not dare to act rashly.

"Haha..."

Jite laughed loudly. "Klahe, you didn’t expect this, did you? To fight against your family, Duns took the initiative to contact us."

"The Nelson family’s dinsional wristband can even create a dinsional barrier that isolates everything for a short period."

"I know you’re powerful, but here..."

He surveyed his surroundings. "We have two Second Circle Wizards and four One-Circle Late Stage Wizards. You don’t stand a chance!"

"Ahem." Duns coughed lightly. "Jite."

"The dinsional barrier can only be maintained for a short ti, so... shouldn’t we get started?"

As he spoke, he glanced at Klahe of the Andrew family.

"Of course."

Jite nodded. "I’m just a bit too excited. After all, I’ve waited more than two hundred years for this day!"

"Enough." Klahe’s voice grew heavy. "Let’s get on with it!"

"Alright!"

Duns nodded, seemingly impatient. With a gesture of his hands, countless shadows scattered in all directions.

Second Circle Magic—Shadow Assassination!

This magic excelled at sneak attacks and assassinations, but his choice of targets surprised his companions: it wasn’t Klahe, but them.

"PFFT!"

"PFFT! PFFT!"

In an instant, two One-Circle Late Stage Wizards fell on the spot. The remaining few, though they cast spells to evade, had their expressions change dramatically.

Jite roared in anger, "Duns!"

His face was filled with disbelief as he looked at Duns, his eyes burning with rage, which then turned to horror and despair.

How could this be?

"Jite," Klahe said, his expression calm as he shook his head. "Where do you think the Nelson family’s dinsional wristband ca from? Do you think Duns could have advanced to the Second Circle without the Andrew family’s consent?"

"Correct."

Duns, while controlling the shadows to hunt down the remaining One-Circle Late Stage Wizards in the area, said, "Even the fact that the Vortex Spirit Butterfly could be processed into a Potion is all thanks to Mr. Klahe."

"The Andrew family has long wanted to get rid of all of you. They used to lure you here to deal with you all at once."

"Sorry!"

His expression was sincere. "I simply couldn’t refuse Mr. Klahe’s proposal."

"Indeed!" Klahe, launching a Second Circle Magic attack at the panicked Jite, spoke in a leisurely tone, "To nurture a family with a Second Circle Wizard and eliminate the Andrew family’s long-standing enemies...

"No matter how you look at it, this deal is very worthwhile!"
