The production of Magic Stones is extrely limited; only in places bordering the Star Realm might one find veins of Magic Stone. The brilliance of the Divine is too dazzling, even overshadowing the Star Realm. This leads to the scarcity of Magic Stones. So Witchcraft Traps, alchemical spells, and even the operation of the Wizard Tower all rely on Magic Stones.
Over ti, the purchasing power of Magic Stones continued to rise. A few Magic Stones could buy a Zero-Circle Magic, and a dozen or so could purchase a Demonized Item. One hundred... could buy a complete witchcraft heritage!
In fact, not just Magic Stones, but all sorts of Magic Materials and Demonized Items were very rare and expensive. Otherwise, even a half-baked Alchemist like Carl wouldn’t have been able to rely on Magic Materials from the Otherworld to beco a "renowned" Alchemist.
"It’s a world impoverished of resources, no wonder everyone’s thinking of leaving. The brilliance of the Divine is too dazzling for Wizards—not a good thing." Carl, holding a stack of thick books, sighed and shook his head. "But if we lost Divine protection, for ordinary people, it might be another disaster."
Without the protection of the Divine in the Otherworld, he had seen firsthand what the situation could be like. The lives of ordinary people were worse than death.
Iron Golem!
This was the Bloodline Magic heritage of the Advanced Wizard Apprentice, Jin. Similar to Robert’s Stone Statue Ghosts, both aid at creating constructed lifeforms. In the absence of Legendary Creatures, Bloodline Wizards had no other path but to construct lifeforms.
The core technology of Stone Statue Ghosts is the Stone Heart. The core of the Iron Golem, on the other hand, is the Iron Heart. Similarly, this critical witchcraft was not to be disclosed. Perhaps with more money, one might get their hands on it, but what truly interested Carl was not the witchcraft heritage.
"A Stone Statue Ghost is a constructed lifeform made from clay and stone, massive in size, imnsely strong, and it can even fly."
"The Iron Golem adds complex chanical parts and gears, making it more flexible and adaptable."
"Both require the construction of complex magical circuits and witchcraft cores."
Carl pondered the differences between the two heritages. "In terms of Tier, the Iron Golem is clearly higher, but the materials required for its construction are also scarcer."
Hmm... He stroked his untidy beard. Many of the techniques used in the Iron Golem are common with Alchemy. They could be useful for reference.
Of course, the Iron Golem’s Bloodline Magic heritage was, for him, rely an addition to his accumulated knowledge. What truly mattered were the techniques and experience of analyzing Magic Creatures contained within.
Speed Writing!
Flipping through the books rapidly, he carved a multitude of knowledge into his mind.
After a long while, Carl slowly closed the book. His eyes shut tight, he reclined in the soft chair, lost in thought.
The knowledge accumulated by an Advanced Wizard Apprentice is indeed rich. It even includes the experience and processes of an Official Wizard analyzing Legendary Creatures.
This continent once had real Bloodline Wizards!

"Experintal result..."
"10%!"
The quill hovered in mid-air as Carl’s eyes trembled, looking at the blurry Magic Model.
"There’s..." He paused. "There’s a way!"
Carl covered his face with his hands, letting out a long sigh.
"Finally!" he breathed. "There’s hope."
After nearly half a year, he finally saw a glimr of hope!
Na: Great Squid
Tier: Second Order Creature
Classification: Abyssal Legendary Species, Mollusk, Cephalopod, Squid Family (Suspected)...
Experintal Data: Body Data 23%, Cranial Data 7%...
The quill paused slightly.
Carl gazed at the Magic Model before him, his eyes reflecting deep thought.
"It seems my guess was wrong. This Great Squid’s true strength isn’t the power from its terrifying size, nor its body’s astonishing Recovery Power. Instead, it’s its ability to contaminate and influence the psyche."
"It..." he mused, "is likely just a juvenile!"
That could also explain why a Second Order Creature was so weak, killed by a group of Knights and a Great Knight. Because it hadn’t grown up yet. It was still in its juvenile phase! The true strength of its innate abilities had not yet been unearthed.
"Heh..." Carl took a deep breath, his eyes becoming resolute. "It seems I’m going to stop being human."
After such extensive planning and preparation, the path of the Wizard lay before him. He could not give it up.
Even if it ant no longer being human, it would be worth it!
Next, Carl needed to construct the Magic Model and then expose the Great Squid’s blood to the flesh and blood of the Legendary Creature. When the Great Squid’s blood alters the Legendary Creature’s flesh and blood, it would emit traces of the essence of a Second Order Creature.
Then, Carl would slowly absorb and refine this aura until the Great Squid’s blood would truly accept him. This process was very slow. It was estimated to take several more months.
「Several months later...」
SWISH... The Lesser Mage Hand moved the oar, propelling the wooden boat through the Swamp until it stopped at a shore. Many wooden boats and small crafts were docked here.
"Hmm?" Carl frowned, leaping onto the small island.
The island was not large. The path was lined with chrysanthemums and violets, their faint floral scent mixed with sorrow and rembrance.
Not long ago, Advanced Wizard Apprentice Sidric and his disciple Lawson had both succumbed to a potent poison, passing away in succession.
