"..." Watching Jasper’s figure disappear into the distance, Henry smiled and stroked his beard.
With this delay, those who should have left had probably departed.
"Dragon King?"

The fire at the Dragon King Chamber of Comrce’s ’Shipyard District’ didn’t stir up much commotion in Freedom Port. After all, while fires were rare by the seaside, they weren’t unheard of.
But the news had already spread among certain groups.
On the surface, Freedom Port maintained its usual calm, but beneath that facade, undercurrents were already beginning to surge.

"Ayala."
Susan approached early in the morning, nodding at the two of them.
"Morning!" Ayala, holding a bowl, greeted with a smile, "Susan, have you had breakfast? If not, have sothing here to fill your stomach?"
"I’ve eaten already." Susan waved her hand, "Carl, you look well today."
"Yes," Carl nodded, "There’s an old saying in my hotown, ’Good spirits follow good news,’ and I’ve encountered so happy events recently."
"Is that so?" Susan couldn’t muster any joy, chuckled dryly, and said, "Things might get a bit chaotic in the city soon. If you feel unsafe, you can co to my shop."
"Ayala."
Her expression beca serious.
"Especially you, rember that."
"Mhm." Ayala’s gaze was distant. "I will."
Leon and the others worked at Susan’s shop, and Ayala often visited. At this mont, she sensed sothing unusual.
Subconsciously, she asked, "Has sothing happened?"
"Not yet," Susan sighed, "But later... it’s hard to say!"

An increase of 0.25 in Spiritual Power might not seem like much, but if one were to painstakingly cultivate it relying on a Level Four Wizard Talent, it would usually take years to achieve. Even with Potion assistance, it would still take a long ti.
Now, it just needed a little touch.
Watching the vanishing Source Material and increasing spiritual power, Carl took a deep breath, his excitent gradually stabilizing.
A Constitution score over 3 defines a Great Knight; a spiritual power score over 3 theoretically makes one an Advanced Wizard Apprentice, although currently, I have not mastered six Zero-Circle Magic.
Just one more left.
The tricks I’ve mastered so far include: Light Spell, Speed Writing, Analyzing Spell, Stealth, Controlling Water Flow... The Zero-Circle Magic are: Lesser Spell Energy Field, Firebrand, Erald Guardian, Water Vortex, and Lesser Mage Hand...
There isn’t much spiritual power left. Multiple Water Arrows require too much spiritual power to consider right now. I could choose the previously forsaken Arcane Missiles; Gravitational Distortion and Lesser Eye of Insight are also good options. First, I need to raise my realm.
Once I beco an Advanced Wizard Apprentice, the power of my witchcraft will greatly increase, and I will not fear even a peak Great Knight.
With that thought, Carl turned around and entered the dissection room.
"Wing Lion of the Wind, a Legendary amphibious creature, possessing a complete digestive and excretory system."

As he muttered, a quill flew out by itself, dipped into ink, and then moved across a parchnt, making notations and sketches.

A Magic Model constructed within the Spiritual Inner Sea transford the elusive spiritual power into an invisible, massive hand. As flexible as a human hand, it could hold a quill for writing or grasp huge objects for attack. It could also block incoming attacks. It was considered one of the essential witchcraft for every Wizard Apprentice.
Carl had previously thought this witchcraft was optional and had not practiced it. Only after mastering it did he realize its convenience. Pouring tea, sweeping, making beds—all it took was a thought, truly a must-have Divine Artifact for the lazy.
Swamp Alliance.
Carl, along with Hibell and her young apprentice, Payne, disembarked from a wooden boat onto an island.
"Welco!"
As they got off the boat, a skinny old woman ca to greet them enthusiastically, "Miss Hibell, Oma talks about you often. You’re not working part-ti with the patrol team anymore, are you? If you have ti, visit more often."
"Yes," Hibell bowed in salute, "The points from the patrol team were too few. I took on a mission to explore deep into the Black Swamp, so I can only return once a month. It’s truly fortunate; I just happened to hear that Oma was promoted to Advanced Wizard Apprentice. Congratulations!"
"Mrs. Wendy, you have taken on a good apprentice."
Today was the celebration Oma hosted after her promotion to Advanced Wizard Apprentice, and many people were invited. Carl and Hibell were among those invited.
"Indeed!" Wendy nodded, her face full of smiles, "I only have a Level Four Wizard Talent, yet I took in a disciple with Level Two Wizard Talent. The key is that she is very filial. I can only say... what good luck!"
"Mrs. Wendy," Carl offered a gift, "Congratulations!"
"Thank you." Wendy smiled as she accepted the gift, "Mr. Karl, right? This must be your first ti on our island. Except for Oma’s residence, feel free to explore anywhere else."
"Oh!"
"Dear Steve, you look so handso today, it’s quite heart-fluttering."
She looked towards the new guest, complinting them loudly, and then said to the three of them, "Oma is inside chatting with friends. Feel free to do as you please, as I must attend to other guests now."
"You’re busy, Mrs. Wendy," Hibell nodded, watching her leave.
"Tutor," young Payne curiously asked, "Isn’t it said that only those who have accomplished great deeds are awarded an island? Why does Mrs. Wendy also have one?"
Wendy was just an Interdiate Wizard Apprentice. Oma had only just been promoted to Advanced Wizard Apprentice, and due to her focus on training, she rarely took part in missions.
