Foolish!

Greedy!

Arrogant!

Conceited!

Tim’s response had not caught Carl by surprise. In fact, it exactly matched his expectations. Given the opponent’s personality, he was certain Tim would not aim for a quick resolution but rather a slow tornt of his adversary to delight himself. Unfortunately, such temperant was destined to lead to his downfall.

The activation of Titan’s Hamr was slow, and once activated, its position could not be changed, making it only suitable for attacking stationary targets. The showboating Tim, striving to make an impression, was just what was needed.

Using Battle Skills to obstruct the opponent’s vision while activating the Demonized Item, the process went smoother than expected.

BOOM!

The massive hamr crashed down, causing the duel arena’s ground to shake violently, and the defensive water sphere burst on the spot.

BANG!

Tim knelt on the ground as his knees gave out, intense pain flooding his senses, panic showing in his eyes.

SWOOSH!

Carl did not cease his actions there. He swung his broad sword.

The water that had settled in front of him suddenly exploded, and the burst of force caused Carl to falter, the blade involuntarily deviating from its path.

Seizing the opportunity, the Magic Wand in Tim’s hand lit up once more.

Water Mist Skill!

The mist rapidly erged, quickly enveloping the entire duel arena. In the blink of an eye, Tim’s figure vanished.

Wizards might not excel in tempering their bodies, but powerful spiritual power ensured precise control over their physical form, aning they’re very agile! The dense fog from the Water Mist Skill not only hindered the sight of human eyes but also distorted perception, allowing him enough cover to escape.

Damn it!

He has a Demonized Item? And it’s so powerful?

Tim’s mouth oozed blood, and he cursed inwardly. Another hit like that, and he feared he would be dead. That one strike was comparable to one delivered by a Great Knight at full power. An Interdiate Wizard Apprentice had an easy ti dealing with Knights, but stood little chance against a Great Knight.

COUGH, COUGH!

SPURT!

A mouthful of fresh blood sprayed out, seemingly mixed with fragnts of shattered organs. Tim’s vision darkened, but he dared not linger in one place, tip-toeing and silently shifting his position.

Death!

I’ll make sure you die!

Once stabilized, Tim’s eyes were fierce, and the Magic Wand in his hand shone brightly as a series of water arrows shot out. Zero-Circle Magic—Multiple Water Arrows! The pervasive water elent transford into sharp arrows, chaotically flying out in all directions from Tim at the center, instantly sweeping through the entire duel arena.

PHEW... After casting Multiple Water Arrows, Tim was visibly exhausted, his body trembling slightly. However, such an attack was enough to seriously injure a Knight, no matter where he was hiding.

Zero-Circle Magic—Lesser Mage Hand!

"Carl," Tim gritted his teeth and growled, "I told you, I’ll personally twist your head off, just like I once personally led you through the doors into the Wizard World. Where are you? Now, it’s my turn!"

The Lesser Mage Hand slowly spread out in front of him, gathering invisible forces and reaching out toward what lay ahead. The hand seed impatient to grab its target.

The Water Mist Skill would obstruct the sight of others, but it wouldn’t affect the Caster’s perception. In fact, it even provided a slight enhancent, so Tim ’saw’ Carl’s figure quite easily.

"Looking for ?"

A calm, indifferent voice, devoid of any emotional fluctuation, rose from behind him. A nearly four-ter-tall giant figure, like a small mountain, lood over Tim. Secret Skill—Giantification!

The invisible pressure made Tim tremble. He slowly turned around, his face filled with horror as he looked at the newcor. What is this?

HUFF... Carl spread his fingers, his large hand plunging down fiercely. The Lesser Mage Hand in front of Tim burst open like a balloon, popped with a re touch. Carl’s hand clenched.

BANG!

Tim’s head was caught in his palm. His body struggled subconsciously, but it was utterly ineffective.

"Twist off my head?" Carl’s face broke into a cold sneer, "Like this?"

His fingers exerted pressure. With a light twist of his wrist, accompanied by the discordant sound of breaking bones and tearing muscle, a head was brutally twisted off.

THUD!

With a release of his hand, the head fell to the ground.

Tim, with his long hair sprawled out and eyes wide open, seed unwilling to believe his own defeat even in death.

A breeze blew by, quietly dispersing the water mist that filled the duel arena, and the scene within stilled the onlookers.

Dead!

The dead one was Tim!

An Interdiate Wizard Apprentice, dead at the hands of a Knight!

Carl, having returned to his normal size, stood aside, his garnts tattered, his expression calm and detached—a stark contrast to his anger before the duel. anwhile, Tim, previously so sure of his victory, was now headless, blood gushing from his severed neck.

"Always be humble, never be careless. You only live once, Wizard or not." Arthur’s eyes were complex as he nodded towards Carl, "Congratulations, Adolf’s disciple, you have won this duel."

According to the agreents set before the duel, should Carl win, he would receive recognition as Adolf’s disciple and the inheritance that was supposed to go to Tim. However, before this, no one would have thought he could win, so naturally, no one paid attention to these agreents. The outco was unexpectedly surprising.

And a Knight defeating an Interdiate Wizard Apprentice also caused a stir among the other Wizard Apprentices.

"A Knight can’t defeat an Interdiate Wizard Apprentice!"

"Don’t forget, he’s also a Basic-level Wizard Apprentice, and he has a powerful Demonized Item."

"That’s right!"

"A re Knight can’t win, but with sothing extra, it’s not certain."

"Anyway, Tim was too careless!"

"Always be humble!"

...

They were unwilling to believe in Tim’s defeat, even more reluctant to believe that a Wizard Apprentice could be inferior to a Knight.
