Chaos!

Utter chaos!

Accustod to the tranquility of Sigerno City, Carl found the present chaos sowhat disorienting.

Flas rampaged everywhere, with countless people screaming in terror. So even took advantage of the fire to loot.

In the distance, one could faintly hear the brutal sounds of fighting. The turmoil at the city gates had unknowingly spread throughout the city.

No!

Carl softly shook his head.

The Kolong people must have breached the gates; otherwise, the situation inside the city wouldn’t have spiraled out of control to this extent. Sigerno City has thousands of city guards, nurous police officers, inspectors, and the Church’s Guardian Knights. Not to ntion the many nobles who keep quite a few private soldiers. In such circumstances, not being on the frontline yet having the city gates breached, how incompetent must the city’s managers be?

Fortunately, having been through a series of events in Black City, Carl quickly adjusted his mindset and familiarized himself with the environnt.

BOOM!

A loud explosion occurred nearby. A house’s roof was blown off and exploded mid-air.

"Barro!"

A shout imdiately followed, "You can’t escape!"

Barro? Earl Barro!

Carl’s eyes flickered. Instinctively, he looked towards the direction of the sound.

Moonlight was partially obscured by clouds, but the flas around were enough to clearly see the situation.

Holding a longsword and covered in blood, Earl Barro staggered onto the street, his eyes filled with rage and panic.

"Tucker!"

CRACKLE...

Like a flash of Thunderclap, a bright light instantly crossed more than ten ters and appeared before Earl Barro.

It was a horse!

The Knight on the horse was tall, significantly bulkier than an average person.

The Knight, wielding a spear and clad in armor, gave his arm a slight shake, and the spear had already pierced the void to arrive before him.

CLANG...

Barro swung his sword to defend. The next instant, his entire body was hurled into the air and smashed into a building behind him.

He, a Great Knight, couldn’t withstand a single blow!

WHOA!

After sending Barro flying, the Knight didn’t press his advantage. Instead, he fiercely pulled the reins and swung his spear to his side.

A dark figure burst out at that mont, swinging fists to attack.

Roaring Battle Aura gathered at his fists, like two massive hamrs, striking out with terrifying force.

CLANG...

The spear collided with the fists.

A visible shockwave erupted at their point of contact, instantly sweeping across the street.

The ground was torn up, and walls trembled violently. Several figures attempting to approach stumbled back.

So powerful!

Carl’s eyes narrowed.

Even if he were to use the Secret Skill of the Giant Spirit Breathing Technique to achieve Giantification, he might not possess such strength. What was a full-force strike for him was rely a casual act for a true Great Knight.

"Burn!" the Knight looked at the newcor, speaking in a low voice, "I thought you were incapacitated. At such an old age, wouldn’t it be better to rest at ho? Yet you insist on seeking death!"

Burn? Carl felt a stir in his heart. The Great Knight of the Noble Council, Lion Burn! He seed to be over fifty, yet he was still so fierce, truly deserving of the title ’Lion.’

"Tucker," Lion Burn clenched his fists and glared furiously, "Don’t forget, you were just a lowly commoner from Gando back then. Without the kingdom, you wouldn’t be where you are today."

"You’re right," Tucker spoke up, "I was just a lowly commoner from Gando. But now... this lowly commoner has beco the general of an enemy army, personally leading an assault to conquer you. Shouldn’t you all reflect on that?"

SWISH!

Before he finished speaking, the spear in his hand flashed out again like lightning, montarily brightening the deep, dim night.

Battle Skill—Thunder Fall!

BOOM!

The spear, wreathed in Thunderclap, struck Lion Burn’s fist, unleashing a violent, howling force.

Lion Burn’s burly body skidded back nearly ten ters before he barely managed to stop.

At the sa ti, Earl Barro, previously defeated, burst from the rubble. He leaped high into the air like a divine eagle swooping down.

VMMMM...

The blade of his longsword trembled lightly as layers of heavy sword shadows materialized.

The howling Battle Aura rushed forth, so intense it startled Tucker’s warhorse, causing its front hooves to rear sharply.

A Demonized Item! The longsword in Earl Barro’s hands was a Demonized Item. It could unleash Phantom Sword Qi to dazzle the mind, its blade hidden within the illusion during an attack. A slight misstep from an opponent would result in being wounded. This weapon allowed him to easily gain the upper hand when fighting other Great Knights.

WHOOSH...

Tucker swung his spear.

His eyes were cold and murderous, seemingly unaffected by the longsword, as he directly targeted the incoming Earl Barro.

BANG!

The ground trembled.

Lion Burn seized the opportunity to strike. He swung his fists, and his Battle Aura ford a lion pouncing on its target.

BOOM!

Smoke and dust rose all around.

The spear swung, creating nurous afterimages as it clashed with the two Great Knights.

Even Carl, standing so distance away from the battlefield, could feel the chilling intent to kill deep in his bones.

Others couldn’t even get close.

Arrows shot by distant archers were swept away by the howling Qi Force before they could even reach the battle.

The situation didn’t last long.

CRACKLE...

BOOM!

A massive thunderbolt descended from the sky, transforming into a dense web of electricity that enveloped everything around.

Battle Skill—Thunderfall!

PFFT!

The warhorse charged forward, spear thrusting straight. The longsword in Earl Barro’s hands was blasted from his grasp by the power of the Thunderclap.

His body was pierced through by the spear.

The Knight on horseback gave his arm a light shake, and Earl Barro fell to the ground like a ruptured sack.

He twitched twice upon hitting the ground and then lay lifeless.

HYAH!

Thunder Spear Tucker wheeled his horse around, charged towards the despairing Lion Burn, and thrust his spear.
