As Lin Xiaotian emptied an entire space ring worth of spirit stones into the core chamber, the steady stream of glowing stones vanished into the array one after another, each one dissolving into raw energy.

His expression remained controlled, but a faint tightening in his jaw betrayed the cost as months of accumulation disappeared in re seconds.

Damn it... every single one gone this better end it cleanly.

The chamber pulsed faintly as the last of the stones were absorbed, the array stabilizing into a dense and heavy glow that did not leak outward but instead compressed inward.

Lin Xiaotian exhaled once before turning sharply, his tone losing all laziness as he called out, "Yan Feng, Xiaoshan, get here imdiately."

The urgency in his voice cut through the tension, and both arrived without hesitation, their movents sharp despite the lingering pressure from earlier.

Lin Xiaotian pointed toward a narrow-embedded array along the inner fra of the ship, his gaze fixed and unwavering.

"Yan Feng, go outside and pour every bit of your spiritual energy into that array without holding back even slightly," he said, his voice precise and commanding.

Then he turned to Xiaoshan and placed a deep red pill into his hand, its surface faintly pulsing with restrained energy.

"Take this and go to the front deck, you will control the cannon exactly as I instruct," he added, his tone leaving no room for doubt or delay.

We only get one chance at this... miss it and we’re done.

Yan Feng nodded and rushed out imdiately, the wind hitting him as he reached the outer fra and placed both hands firmly against the array before pushing his spiritual qi into it.

The response was instant as the array lit up brightly, lines of energy spreading outward like veins toward the front of the ship.

A deep chanical shift followed as the hull at the front began to split open layer by layer, not violently but with a controlled heaviness that revealed sothing far more complex beneath.

From within, a massive cannon slowly erged, its surface covered in dense runic engravings that flickered faintly as power began to gather within it.

The platform extended outward to support its structure, while the handles stood wide apart, positioned in a way that made them impossible for any normal cultivator to operate effectively but to be used by divine sense.

Xiaoshan however stepped forward onto the platform, his arms already swelling under the effect of the berserk pill as veins rose visibly along his skin.

He grabbed the handles and steadied himself, his body adjusting to the growing weight and resistance coming from the cannon as it remained inactive for the mont.

Below, the battle had already intensified further as Han Leu adjusted his approach, no longer trading direct blows but redirecting each clash to control the beast’s movent.

Each strike shifted its stance, each block altered its direction, forcing the beast into a narrower range of motion despite its overwhelming strength.

The beast responded with increasing violence, its unstable aura flaring unpredictably as it pushed harder with every movent.

It’s not weakening... it’s building up and becoming madder.

From above, Lin Xiaotian watched carefully, his eyes tracking every shift in position as his mind calculated the exact mont needed.

Too fast... too unstable I need one clean alignnt, or this fails completely...

Then, for a brief instant, both figures aligned in a straight line.

Lin Xiaotian’s eyes sharpened instantly as he transmitted his voice, "Elder Han, hold it in place for a mont, I have a way to kill it." Han Leu did not hesitate and imdiately shifted his stance to match the request.

His next clash was no longer aid at damage but control, his sword locking against the beast’s claw as he forced it into position through technique and timing.

The beast reacted violently, its muscles tightening as it pushed back, sensing the danger as its movents grew more erratic.

Inside the ship, Lin Xiaotian pressed his hands against the core array and poured the last of his spiritual energy into it, forcing the system to accelerate beyond its normal limits.

The cannon responded with a deep internal hum as energy condensed within it, not leaking outward but compressing further into a single point.

Xiaoshan gritted his teeth as the pressure built up through the handles, his arms straining as he forced the cannon to rotate inch by inch toward the target.

The resistance was imnse, but the berserk pill pushed his strength beyond its natural limits, allowing the alignnt to continue.

Below, Han Leu was holding, but only barely as cracks spread beneath the beast’s claws while it struggled violently to break free.

It’s about to break... we don’t have ti left.

Xiaoshan saw it and hesitated for a fraction of a second as Han Leu remained directly in the line of fire. That single mont stretched longer than it should have.

Then Han Leu’s voice struck directly into his mind, sharp and absolute. "Fire."

There was no hesitation left. Xiaoshan pulled the chanism down with full force, committing entirely to the action without looking back. The cannon discharged instantly, releasing a compressed beam of energy that tore through the air in a perfectly straight line.

The recoil slamd backward through the ship, pushing it several ters away as the platform shook violently under the released force. Below, Han Leu moved at the exact mont of release, stepping aside with precise timing that left no room for error.

The beam passed through his previous position and struck the beast directly without any obstruction. There was no explosion, no resistance, only imdiate disintegration as the beast’s head vanished first, followed by half of its body.

The remaining mass collapsed heavily onto the broken ground, its final howl cutting off abruptly as its form lost all cohesion. Silence followed as the demonic qi dissipated rapidly, leaving the valley eerily still.

On the ship, the disciples slowly began to recover, their breathing stabilizing as the oppressive pressure faded completely.

So leaned against the railings while others sat down, the tension draining from their bodies as relief settled in.

Lin Xiaotian remained standing for a mont longer before exhaling slowly, his expression finally easing as the situation stabilized.

That... was painfully expensive but at least it worked

Below, Han Leu stood quietly, his sword lowered as he observed the remains without relaxing his guard completely. The battlefield was silent, but not yet safe.

Then, without warning, a figure clad in black appeared behind him, moving without sound as if slipping through the gaps between perception. A dagger was already raised, its edge aid directly at Han Leu’s Heart as the strike descended.
