What did Faust think of the whole thing?
"She doesn’t know," Lancel said. "Faust tries not to ddle too much in my business. And I appreciate that."
There had been that one ti she followed him, thinking sothing bad was about to happen. And it did. But after that, she kept her distance. When she wasn’t busy, she only stepped in to help with his studies.
"But sneaking out like this all the ti gets tiring," Lancel added. "We should start making it look like we’re just... friends."
"And how exactly are we supposed to do that?" Ishtar asked.
"Well, during her lectures, just stick close to . Act like we’ve been getting along or sothing."
"Mmm..." Ishtar nodded in understanding. "Alright."
Lancel nodded, then adjusted his stance.
Following i’s thod of telekenesis, he gathered mana into his palms first. Then he spread them apart, directing that mana outward and letting it latch onto specific books in front of him before activating telekinesis.
"Oh... It’s working."
There was a clear difference.
The objects he had attached his mana to lifted higher, while the others barely moved at all.
The only problem now was choosing.
Out of everything in front of him, he still had trouble focusing on what to lift and what to ignore.
Nevertheless, i nodded in approval. The reason why she was the only one guiding him was simply that Lancel couldn’t follow Ishtar’s thod at all.
When she tried to explain it, it never made sense to him. Not because she explained it poorly, but because there was a gap. What required steps for him, what needed a process for i, was sothing Ishtar did without thinking.
For her, it was as natural as breathing.
After about an hour of practice, Lancel decided to take a break.
He stood up and walked over, pouring himself a glass of water from what i had prepared. After taking a few sips, he set the glass down and glanced back at her.
"By the way, does no one co here?"
It was a valid concern.
The last thing he wanted was for her master to suddenly walk in unannounced and see her apprentice alone with a man in a house that had been prepared for her.
That would be... complicated.
"A caretaker cos in the middle of the night," i said. "By the ti I wake up, they’re already gone. But that’s about it. If you’re still worried, I’ve set up surveillance."
"Surveillance?"
At that mont, a black streak cut through the air and landed on i’s shoulder.
It was a crow.
Then more followed. One after another, they appeared and circled around the chandelier in the living room, prompting Lancel to look up.
"Every single one of these acts as my surveillance," i said. "I can share lenses with each and every one of them. They even double as my alarm clock."
"I see..."
Even i was thorough.
From the start, she had no intention of letting her master find out about any of this. She might’ve been a recluse, but she wasn’t careless. So things were better kept hidden, especially sothing like the kind of relationship they currently had.
"Well, now that you’re done, Lancel," Ishtar asked from the couch, "are we going to do it now?"
Lancel turned toward her.
The whole ti, she had just been sitting there, eating whatever i brought out while casually reading a novel, as if none of this concerned her at all.
In any case, what she was referring to was obviously sex.
For the past two days, Lancel had been involved in a physical arrangent with the two of them. However, this was just the first ti Ishtar had co over to i’s place.
There wasn’t anything complicated about it. It was rely mutual interest.
Through that kind of exchange, the witches could grow stronger, and Lancel could raise their bond, which ant access to more of their spells. Just seeing the way i handled those crows earlier was already enough to catch his attention.
If possible, he wanted that.
"Shall we go to my room?" i asked.
* * *
Aunt and niece.
Just the thought alone stirred a strong sense of immorality in Lancel.
This would be the first ti he did it with both of them together. And honestly, he would be lying if he said there wasn’t so anticipation building inside him.
After all, Lancel was still a healthy man in his twenties.
"Why are you just standing there?" i asked, turning toward Ishtar, who was still lingering by the doorway. "You were the one who suggested this."
"I didn’t an for us to do it together..."
While Ishtar was usually the mischievous one who didn’t hesitate to tease Lancel confidently at every opportunity, she beca surprisingly conservative when another person was involved.
It was almost shocking that it was the sa girl.
No, it was probably because i was here.
Unlike i, who remained completely indifferent to the whole exchange, Ishtar still held onto the idea of pure love and traditional romance.
This kind of immoral exchange, where two won share the sa man and engage in physical intimacy at the sa ti, was sothing she had never imagined in her wildest dreams.
That was why the entire situation felt completely alien to her.
"If you’re just gonna stay there, then be my guest," i said, then turned to Lancel. "By the way, Assistant Lancel. I’d like to try sothing different today."
"Different?"
i turned away slightly, a faint blush coloring her cheeks. She might have looked indifferent on the surface, but that didn’t an she wasn’t completely nervous.
She simply didn’t care what Ishtar thought of her. Still, even i had her own views on romance after studying the topic for a while.
"Could you... sit on the bed?"
"Ah, yeah..."
Lancel sat down on the bed. This was the sa room where he had first had sex with i.
Thankfully, the bedsheets had been changed since that day. It would have been scary if they hadn’t.
i kneeled in front of him and slowly unzipped his pants. Lancel’s erect cock sprang out right in front of her face.
"...."
i swallowed her saliva, her eyes fixed on his thick shaft.
Then, she licked her lips.
