In the soil, the seed quickly took root and sprouted, drawing power from the entire island before growing vines studded with bright red thorns.
The crimson vines, like thin snakes, crawled towards her limbs, cutting fresh wounds.
Finally, a huge bud burst forth at Fen’s feet, enveloping her entirely within.
