Sarah was dragged to one of Calix’s properties in the city. The bodyguards placed the unconscious woman on the bed before chaining her ankles.

None of them questioned what their boss wanted to do. They simply knew that this drunk woman was involved in their new madam’s accident.

When Sarah was still deep in sleep, Calix and Leslie shared so conversation inside the room. He was excited to witness the mont of horror she planned to strike toward Sarah.

"Leslie, should I open a haunted house? You can work there ah. As one of the ghosts. I’m sure people will flock there."

Leslie rolled her eyes, understanding full well that Calix was having too much fun in this matter.

"Step outside. I want to wake her soon," Leslie glanced at the pail of cold water standing next to the bed, "I wanna get this done with quickly. We still need to dump her where she ca from."

Calix guffawed, amused by how deadpan Leslie looked at him just now.

"Yeah, yeah. I’ll keep watching from the mirror."

To maximize the effect, Leslie didn’t allow Calix to continue staying inside the room. The young man resorted to being a spectator by monitoring from the next room.

Both rooms were connected by a one-way mirror. Calix could perfectly watch what Leslie did to Sarah through it but, the ladies couldn’t see him.

"Sigh... I forgot to get so popcorn."

Calix lanted before walking out of the room. Leslie shook her head in helplessness, knowing so much that this man wanted to have fun.

Once Calix was gone, Leslie started her plan. The clock struck midnight. She grabbed the pail and threw the icy cold water to Sarah.

"Argh... ARGHHHH!"

Leslie laughed out loud when Sarah scread out of fear. She was certain that Calix was just the sa as her.

The thief’s shout grew more panicky once Sarah saw Leslie writing on the mirror.

"N-no! Who are you? Co out! Don’t try to scare !"

Leslie grinned. She started to add more lines under what she had written before. The red lipstick spelled new words on the vanity mirror.

I miss you.

Why did you leave alone after pushing ?

I am sad, Sarah.

"ARGH! No! NOOO!"

New waves of horror spread panic in Sarah. She abruptly jumped from the bed, trying to run to the door. The chains jerked, causing her to fall unceremoniously to the floor.

"Ah! It hurts!"

Leslie chuckled. She grabbed so tissues from the dressing table before deliberately falling them on top of Sarah’s head.

"S-stop! Please, please!"

Under the frightened woman’s terrified gaze, Leslie began to write on the white marble floor. She did it out of the periter of Sarah’s reach.

You pushed , Sarah.

YOU PUSHED !

"No! No!" Sarah’s tears spilled out. She vehently shook her head, trying to deny the accusations, "I didn’t! I didn’t an to!"

Tremors spread to Sarah’s entire body, filling her with a sense of horror and panic.

She wanted to get out of this cursed place. Even though this room appeared ordinary, she was desperate to get out of here.

Leslie continued writing.

Confess your sins.

I’ll keep haunting you if you plead fake innocence.

CONFESS!

"H-how could I confess? C-Charlene! First Miss, please! Have rcy! I didn’t an to push you!"

Shaking her head, Sarah kept shouting into the air. She almost pissed in her pants. She tugged her ankles hard, trying to break the chains but only pain struck there.

CONFESS!

CONFESS YOUR SIN!

YOU KILLED , SARAH!

YOU KILLED !

"NO! No! I didn’t kill you! F-first Miss! You’re still alive! I didn’t kill you! Please, please! Let go!"

Watching how pathetic Sarah was acting, Leslie exhaled a sigh. This cowardly woman kept begging for rcy. She didn’t try to reflect on her own actions.

"Well, it’s already expected," Leslie sighed again, "It’s okay. I do this just to frighten her."

The concrete evidence had been found thus, it would be easy to bring Sarah to justice. Leslie simply wanted to scare her now. Directly punishing this crooked woman through law sounded unsatisfactory to her.

"Oh, let’s add this. I wanna see how long she can be stubborn."

Leslie put down the lipsticks, reaching for one of the tissues lying on the floor. Picking it up, she grinned before pinching Sarah’s nose.

"Argh! Arghhh! What’re you doing?! Let go!"

Sarah shuddered at the sensation of sothing invisible pressing through the tissue, her voice muffled. She shook her head but the pinching only beca stronger.

"Hehe," Leslie chuckled, amused by her own actions, "How about this?"

Sarah breathed out in relief when the pinching stopped. But, it was only temporary.

Leslie layered many tissues together before crumpling them into a ball. Before Sarah could scream watching it, she shoved the ball into the latter’s mouth.

"Umph! Umphhh!"

Sarah squird on the floor. She tried to cough out the ball of tissue when the lipstick moved in the air again. The chains jingled as she kept moving unsightly.

You’re so stubborn, Sarah.

I think...

I want to recreate what you did to .

There’s a staircase outside.

How brilliant the floor will look with your blood splatter on it?

"Umph! Umphhh! C-cough! Cough! S-sorry! I’ll admit! I’ll admit my sins!"

Sarah painstakingly spat out the lump of tissue. She kept chanting that she was wrong, much to Leslie’s amusent.

"Huh! You should’ve admitted from the beginning," Leslie scoffed before bursting into laughter, "Still, I have fun ssing with you."

Turning around, Leslie left the crying and shouting Sarah behind. She passed through the walls to get inside the room where Calix was waiting.

CEO Xu was standing opposite the one-way mirror. Leslie could vividly see the squirming Sarah from there.

"Did you enjoy the April Fool show?" Leslie chuckled, more laughter bubbling from her mouth, "I think she almost pissed in her pants."

"I enjoyed it, but..." Calix looked at Leslie, a helpless smile curved faintly on his lips, "I couldn’t see you."

"...huh?" Leslie was caught in a daze before she quickly realized what Calix ant, "Ah! Oh, I think I’m not visible even through the one-way mirror. How about my voice? Did you hear ?"

Leslie knew that she wouldn’t be reflected in the mirror but, she initially thought the one-way mirror would be a different case. Turned out, it was just the sa.

"I could hear you," Calix chuckled, amused by what he heard earlier, "Well, I didn’t hear what you said, but your laughter was loud ah. I think the recorder caught her voice."

Before Calix left the room, he clipped a recording device near the bed. He wanted to get anything Sarah said in it.

"The recording will suffice. Hehe, I had so much fun."

Leslie explained what happened to Calix. He saw the moving lipsticks spelling out words but, he didn’t understand the thing about the tissue on Sarah’s nose.

"So, are you satisfied now?"

Calix grinned. The contented look on Leslie’s face gave him the answer.

"Hehe, quite satisfied," Leslie looked at Sarah. She hadn’t stopped yelling at the top of her lungs, begging for forgiveness, "So, should we move to the next stage?"

"This ti, it’ll be my turn," Calix crossed both arms over his chest, snickering, "Perfect that it’s the weekend."

Leslie humd, knowing what Calix wanted to do. She kept her eyes on Sarah a mont longer before saying, "Let’s head back. It’s past midnight."

"Aye, aye ma’am," Calix put one hand in the pocket of his pants, raising brows at Leslie, "Let the guards handle her. We should get our rest before going to war."

"Hehe, indeed."

A satisfied Leslie followed Calix out of the room. Sarah was left alone inside the room next door.
