Calliope had fun touring the entire ho center despite how massive it was. At tis, she walked by herself while at others, she asked Calix to carry her.

Manager Chen and his assistants mostly left Calix, Leslie and Calliope alone. They only appeared when Calix wanted to ask them about the pieces that attracted the little one’s eyes.

Because of how huge the ho center was, Calix, Leslie and Calliope had a few rest in between. Manager Chen thoughtfully prepared so refreshnts for them. At the sa ti, he indulged in a few conversations with the family of three.

"So, the the is pink and white," Calix glanced at Calliope after saying that to Manager Chen, "Isn’t that right, Poppy? Do you want to change anything?"

"No~" Calliope shook her head. She was holding a butter cake in her right hand. So crumbs were stuck to her mouth, "Pink princess bedroom, Papa."

"Haha, okay."

Calix brought Calliope and Leslie to pick the paint colors. The little dumpling made it clear she wanted a pastel pink bedroom like the one she saw during the tour, followed by white furniture.

During one of the break sessions, Manager Chen showed Calliope a catalog of paint colors, focusing on the various shades of pastel pink. After asking for opinions from her mother and father, the little dumpling finally decided on the blush pink color as the main.

"Poppy, you want flowers on one of the walls, aren’t you?"

Calix still rembered Calliope’s drawings from last night. On one of them, she drew flowers on checkerboards. As he tried to visualize them in real life, he couldn’t help but feel chard by the vision.

"Yes!"

Perking up, Calliope quickly nodded. Her eyes shone with delight.

Leslie chuckled looking at the little one’s enthusiasm. Reaching out for a tissue, she gently wiped Calliope’s mouth. The little dumpling offered her a bite of the butter cake.

"Based on your drawing... we’ll have pastel purple and yellow checkerboard. The flowers will be in bright pink and white colors. Are those correct?"

"Yes, Papa! Hehe, they will look so pretty, right?"

"They will, my buttercup," responded Calix with a soft smile hanging on his lips. He was happy to fulfill Calliope’s requests, "Alright, everything has been decided now. Do you have anything more to add?"

Calliope blinked, recalling the aisles she had walked past earlier. Grinning, she said, "Hehehe~ At the first floor. Can we go there again?"

"Alright," Calix swiftly agreed. Leslie said nothing, only expressing her view through her smile.

Manager Chen arranged for a team of painters to go to Graceville Manor tomorrow morning. Because the room was already empty, they could start doing their job right away.

Soon, Calix, Leslie and Calliope resud their touring. The little one had found several pieces of furniture to her liking, including a bed, a study table and bookshelves. She also picked her bedsheets and comforters including so other smaller items.

"Should we send the furniture the day after tomorrow?" asked Manager Chen, understanding that he had to clarify every aspect with Calix.

"The quick-dry paint is odorless, isn’t it? Yes, bring them the day after."

Manager Chen swiftly noted Calix’s instructions. The lighter items would be brought ho today by Logan.

Slightly over noon, Calix, Leslie and Calliope left the ho center. They didn’t forget to make a stop at the first floor.

The little munchkin was eager to see the aisles where the ho center displayed items such as throw pillows, ho slippers, miniature potted plants and others.

"Poppy... do you wanna get sothing?" asked Leslie, intrigued by how intently Calliope looked from one aisle to the next.

Calix also felt the sa way. He wondered what made Calliope so focused like that.

"Aaa... Poppy saw these cute mugs ah."

"Mugs?"

Before Calix and Leslie could ask further, Calliope exclaid in delight, pointing to one section of the aisle.

"There! Papa, Mama, look!"

Calix pushed Leslie’s wheelchair to where Calliope was. They imdiately saw the mugs ntioned by the little one.

Stepping forward, Calix took a white box displaying three mugs in pink color. The handles resembled bunnies’ ears.

Calix swiftly understood why Calliope was eager to find these mugs again after seeing them earlier.

The mugs were in different sizes; two big and one small. Every mug had one bunny each.

The left one showed the rabbit wearing a bowtie and a coat while the right one displayed the rabbit wearing a dress. The middle—small—mug had a little bunny holding a basket of strawberries.

"A family of bunnies," uttered Calix. Smiling in helplessness, he glanced at the toy Mimo in Calliope’s arms, "If only they have foxes."

"Bunnies and foxes are cute~" exclaid Calliope. She tightly hugged Mimo, kissing its head a few tis, "Poppy loves Mimo~ But, Poppy loves bunnies too."

"Hahaha, yeah."

Calix showed the box to Leslie. She also caught the reason why Calliope wanted these mugs.

"Poppy, want to match with... Papa and Mama?" Leslie stroked Calliope’s head, her smile bearing warmth for her precious daughter.

"Hehe, can we?" Calliope tilted her head, grinning at Calix and Leslie, "Matchy mugs with Mama and Papa."

"Of course," Calix nodded, willing to give Calliope everything in front of the naive smile of his daughter, "Let’s have so drinks using these mugs tonight, en?"

"Yay! Thank you, Mama and Papa."

A happy Calliope humd to a tune as Calix settled the purchases. The mug box was handed to Logan alongside other items. The bodyguard held it with both hands, guarding the box as if it were a national treasure.

Manager Chen and his assistants sent the family of three to the basent, thanking them for their patronage. In no ti, the SUV left the vicinity of the ho center.

"It’s lunchti. Let’s eat," Calix looked at Leslie and Calliope through the rearview mirror, "We still have another place to go next."

"Oh~ Eating!"

While Calliope was delighted to hear about them having lunch, Leslie threw Calix a skeptical look.

"Calix... don’t tell you rent... a restaurant this ti?"

Calix guffawed at Leslie’s remarks. His loud laughter drowned Calliope’s singing.

"Hahaha! Just wait and see!"

Leslie scoffed, amused by Calix’s reply.
