I hadn't imagined that people other than Elf Kings and Elf Queens would beco Ancient Elves, but his explanation makes sense.
I'm glad they made a selection in advance, the potential of an Ancient Elf is very great, I don't want to imagine bad people getting their hands on such power.
I know that sooner or later soone bad will appear among the Old Elves, expecting a completely good and kind race like Freya is unrealistic, but the later the better.
