With Lilian and Vanessa's explanation, I was able to understand how this King Alexander beca a Vampire, this can also explain how soone who was described so highly in the information I got beca a bastard who uses Vampire Slaves, he was corrupted by the power you wanted.

Since I beca King I have managed to keep the peace that my Father worked so hard to achieve, our Kingdom has prospered for years, in addition, our people have a lot of respect for our family due to everything my father has achieved in the past.
My father always taught that I needed to defend our Kingdom to the best of my ability and I have done so to this day.

Today I was resting in the garden after a long eting with the most influential traders in the Kingdom, I was discussing possible changes in imports and export to improve the Kingdom's economy when my father passed by absentmindedly without noticing .
I've never seen him like this, he usually notices anyone tens of ters away from him, but this ti he seed distracted and lost in his thoughts, I can even see a glint of fear in his eyes.
As we are inside the castle neither he nor I need guards escorting us and we have more freedom to walk alone, because of that there is no one else around except for so soldiers who are always patrolling the castle for safety.

I was talking to him when we saw a red glow coming at high speed from the sky towards us, the Mages activate the castle's defenses and barriers, but the red light goes through everything, and a brave soldier throws himself in front of us to defend, but the light passes through the guard's body without doing anything to him.

It all happened too fast for to understand, all I saw was my father jumping and running, but the light went after him and hit him, but there was no explosion or noise, but the expression on my father's face was horror before he scread and start squirming on the floor.
