Zhou Liying arrived at the hospital where her grandfather was admitted. With confidence-filled steps, she made her way toward his room.
In the morning, she had talked with his assistant, telling him about her shift. She had taken the direction to her grandfather's room from the assistant. She also requested mister Zhang not to inform her grandfather about her return to Shanghai.
She wanted to surprise her grandfather. She wanted to see the happiness on his face upon seeing her back.
"Sir is going to be happy upon seeing you." Min Yue chirped and stepped out of the elevator with Zhou Liying.
"He will be." Zhou Liying said, at the sa ti, her eyes fell upon her aunt, coming from the opposite direction.
Zhou Liying quickly changed her direction and hid inside a room. She did not wish to face her aunt today. She did not want to waste her ti in her aunt's company, the ti which she could spend with her grandfather.
Furthermore, she knew her aunt was not going to say anything good to her.
With a hawk-like gaze, Zhou Liying looked at her aunt crossing the room where she was hiding. Her eyes widened when she noticed the familiar earing in the ear of her aunt.
'I must be dreaming. How can aunt wear mom's jewellery? Aren't they in the custody of grandpa? He can never let her wear them.'
She shook her head, thinking it to be an illusion. She stepped out of the room and made her way toward her grandfather's room, once her aunt was gone.
She entered the room and looked at the figure of her grandfather.

"Whoever is here, leave. I am not in the mood to see anyone." Qin Yanze said, without even opening his eyes.
Zhou Liying smirked and walked toward him. She took her seat beside his bed.
"What is this grandpa? I have co from so far, especially to et you. Will you send away just like this?" she teased.
"TianTian." Qin Yanze said her na and opened his eyes. His eyes widened with clear surprise and shock when he looked at her. "Am I dreaming?"
"You are not dreaming grandpa." Zhou Liying chuckled and looked at him with soft eyes. "I am here. Your TianTian is here and now, I am not going anywhere."
Soon a huge smile broke upon the lips of Qin Yanze. He beca emotional and tears appeared in his eyes. He lifted his hand and shakily placed it on the cheeks of Zhou Liying.
He missed her badly. With his family not around, he missed Zhou Liying more than anything. Only he knew how he spent his days in the hospital without her company.
Not only that, he had missed her for six years. He may had send her out of Shanghai, but he always missed his smart granddaughter. He missed spending his ti in her company, having debates with her, or giving her business-related tips.
Zhou Liying took his hand in hers and gripped it tight. She missed him equally. She was concerned and worried for him.
"You are here. You are here." He spoke hoarsely. His voice was full of emotions. Unshed tears were in his eyes. His heart swelled because of unexplained happiness.
It was like, his last wish got fulfilled.
Min Yue saw the reunion of grandfather and granddaughter. She felt emotional. To give so private ti to them, she left their room.
Inside the hospital room, Qin Yanze and Zhou Liying had an emotional reunion. Qin Yanze was delighted to see her back.
He was happy to hear from her mouth that she was well settled with her father's family. Now he knew he could leave this world without the worry of anything.

"I should take your leave. It's already late." Zhou Liying lovingly massaged her grandfather's head. There were unshed tears in her eyes.
"Will you visit tomorrow?" Qin Yanze asked and took a hold of her hand, not wanting to let her go so soon. He wanted to spend so more ti with her.
"I will. At the sa ti. Till then rest." She properly covered him with a blanket.
"Thank you TianTian. Thank you for caring for . You have made so happy by coming here." Qin Yanze looked at her with emotional eyes.
Though his son's family was here in Shanghai and they usually visited him. But Qin Yanze never felt at ease which he was feeling right now, in the presence of Zhou Liying.
He knew his son and daughter-in-law were acting as if they cared for him, only to get his property. Only his TianTian was genuinely worried for him.
"Grandpa, it's who should thank you." Zhou Liying squeezed his hand. "Thank you for always protecting , for being my shield. Thank you for teaching your business tactics and strategies. Thank you for giving a new life by sending away from this hell hole."
"TianTian, if after my death, I get a chance to et the god, then I will request him to give you back your mories which you have forgotten." Qin Yanze promised.
"Grandpa stop talking about death." Zhou Liying rebuked and removed the lone tear which slipped out of her eyes. "Now rest." Her voice was hoarse.
Zhou Liying stayed in the room of Qin Yanze, watching him fall asleep. She then left the room and made her way out of the hospital. Min Yue was silently following her.
"Where to miss?" her driver asked once she was settled inside the car.
"Is Barista ice cream still here?" she questioned.
"It is. But I am afraid that they will be closed at this hour of the night." The driver inford her.
"Don't worry. Take there." The driver obeyed the order of Zhou Liying and drove toward the Barista ice cream.
