"What happened?" Zhou Liying looked at Min Yue with concern.
Min Yue was slightly irritated today. Her hand was placed over her forehead. She looked ill.
"Hangover." Min Yue groaned. "Last night, I visited a bar in the hope to find a man but it was a flopped attempt."
Zhou Liying shook her head when she heard her. "It's valentine's week, so it's not easy to find a man in a bar. Join so dating site or social dia to find a man." Zhou Liying pointed out. "Now go back to your apartnt and have a rest. I am giving you a leave today."
"No, please no. I have taken aspirin. I will be alright in a few minutes."
Zhou Liying nodded and walked toward the elevator. Min Yue followed behind her.
Min Yue was not ready to stay back in the apartnt. She knew ghosts of her past were going to taunt her if she stayed in her apartnt, all alone. It was better to go to her company and do so work to divert her mind from her brutal past.

Min Yue was doing so work when she received a call from the front desk. She answered the call.
"Miss Min, soone nad Mister Zhan Wei is here from Mu corporations. Should I send him up?" the receptionist inford. Min Yue's eyes widened.
She knew who Zhan Wei was. Wasn't he the vice president of Mu corporations? "Wait a minute."
She quickly intercom Zhou Liying and inford her about Zhan Wei. "Miss, should I let him up in your office?" she asked with concern.
"Bring him up in my office with due respect."
Min Yue then repeated the order of Zhou Liying to the receptionist and with respect, Zhan Wei was directed toward the office of Zhou Liying.
"Mister Zhan, I am sorry for making you wait downstairs. But it's our company's policy to not let anyone in the office of miss without her persimmon." Min Yue apologised with a bowed head.
"I understand." Zhan Wei dismissed her apology. "I am sure, if Miss Zhou was to co to our office, she too would be stopped at the reception, without any care of her identity. I know these business protocols."
Min Yue smiled at him and opened the cabin door for him. Zhan Wei entered the office of Zhou Liying and greeted her. On getting permission, he took his seat.
He looked around at the office of Zhou Liying with awe. It was so similar to the office of Mu Yuehan. He must say, both of them had similar tastes, especially the one of having a window overlooking the city.
"Mister Zhan, I welco you to my company." Zhou Liying looked at him with a diplomatic smile. Her eyes were sharp and shrewd, trying to determine the reason for his uninford arrival.
"Miss Zhou, I am glad to see you again." Zhan Wei nodded. He again felt a squeeze in his heart when he saw her. She looked at him with doubts, as if looking at a stranger and it did not sit well with him.
He could only imagine the suffering of Mu Yuehan whom she denied to recognise even a bite. If Zhan Wei was feeling so bad that she did not recognise him then what about Mu Yuehan?
"You are here for?" Zhou Liying asked, seeing him lost in his thoughts.
"Oh." Zhan Wei ca out from his thoughts. He shook his head. He passed an enveloped card to her. "Mu Yuehan sent this card for you. I am here to deliver it."
Zhou Liying accepted the card and looked at him with a raised brow. "You ca here especially to deliver this card? The Vice president is here to deliver a card. I am obliged." A mocking smirk appeared on her lips. "I hope your boss is back."
She was still slightly angry that Mu Yuehan had sent his standing person to et her, to fool her. She was angry at Zhan Wei who dared to dupe her. And Zhan Wei was clear about her anger.
"Miss Zhou, I have already asked for your forgiveness for the last ti, and I will ask for it again." Zhan Wei sincerely apologised. "Can we not scratch that incident, please?"
Zhou Liying agreed and nodded her head. The vice president was apologising and requesting. It would not look good on her part if she still did not forgive him and showed her positive attitude.
"I forgive you, finally." She sighed and opened the envelope, removing the card.
"This card is especially sent by Mu Yuehan. He sent here to make you believe that it's written by him, in his own free will. Soone is not playing a joke on you." Zhan Wei inford sincerely.
Zhou Liying gave him a stiff nod and pulled out the card. The card was simple and elegant with golden work on it, she knew was pure.
She opened the card and ca across the cursive handwriting of Mu Yuehan. So far, Mu Yuehan got all the notes written for her by soone else so Zhou Liying was not aware of the handwriting of Mu Yuehan.
Zhou Liying started to read the letter:
'Dear Zhou Liying
I know you are angry with and I can understand your reason. But please understand, I am a human and I need so vacation. Forgive for my mistake of not being able to give my ti to you.'
The tone of the words was dripped with honesty and sincerity. It made Zhou Liying raise her brow. She did not expect the big mighty Mu Yuehan to apologise to her. She continued reading:
'I heard, you are searching for a bachelor man to marry you. Why did you not think of ? Don't you think I am the most perfect man to marry you? We both know we will be a great couple. A power couple!
We together can do so much. We can take our companies to a great height and can eventually fall in love.
You did not invite to date you, but I, Mu Yuehan is inviting you to be my valentine, my date. On thirteenth February, my jet will be waiting for you at the air pad, at sharp seven in the evening, to bring you to the place of our date.
