"What are you doing here?"
Mu Yuehan knew she would ask this question him, upon realising his presence. So, he was all prepared with his answer.
"What do you think, Lili? I will not look after your security. I may not be allowed to be near you but I have asked one of my colleagues to do so. After all, we are to marry soon. Your safety is my priority."
Zhou Liying wanted to rebuke him for being shaless and again saying that he was to marry her, even when she cleared it to him ti and again that she was not going to marry him. Before she could say anything, a man ca out from the dockyard and saluted Mu Yuehan.
"et him, his secret na is rose and he was giving reports about your safety." Zhou Liying gave a stiff nod, doubt was vanishing from her eyes. At the sa ti, her team of guards also walked out from the dockyard, led by Aiden.
Aiden and his family were serving the Zhou family security force from last many years. His father served her father when he was still alive. He took five bullets for her father. Till the last breath of her father, his father did everything to save him.
After her father, his father was guarding her uncle and now, Aiden was her head security guard. He led a troupe of twenty guards.
Last year, Zhou Liying sent Aiden and her group to Zhou's security training group to investigate deeper about her kidnapping incident from four years back, but two days back, she called him back, realising that she needed him here in Shanghai.
So today, when Liam told her about the location of the author, which was a dockyard, she beca suspicious and called Aiden. She ordered him to clear the dockyard as well as her route. She was slling sothing fishy and guess what, her suspicion was right.
"Good to see you, Aiden." Zhou Liying shook her hand with Aiden. A professional smile was on her lips.
Mu Yuehan looked at Aiden and his team with curiosity. Looking at their expressions, the way they were dressed with protective gears and all, or the way they walked in sync, Mu Yuehan knew they were her elite team.
He looked at Aiden and grunted when he saw the way in which Aiden was smiling at Zhou Liying when shaking his hand with hers.
'Why is her team full of blonds? Does she like n with blond hair? Should I change the colour of my hair?'
"I am sorry for giving you a mission on the day of your arrival." Zhou Liying broke the handshake and wrapped her arms around her back.
She felt slightly bad for giving this assignnt to Aiden because he arrived in Shanghai, today's morning itself.
"No problem. You know it's my duty to protect you, no matter what." Aiden spoke professionally, his voice was gruff but smooth.
"Now report." Zhou Liying tilted her head and looked in the eyes of her head guard.
"As per your suspicion, eagle guards were the one behind that article," Aiden reported. "But there is one thing, before our arrival to dockyard or helipad where the eagle team was located, so other group had already arrived. They had most of the mbers under their custody. They seed very trained and expert."
"Were they your n?" She narrowed her eyes and looked at Mu Yuehan.
"Nope, I only had one man after you." Mu Yuehan lied smoothly.
Zhou Liying narrowed her eyes, lost deep in her thoughts. She scratched her chin. "Look into the other team who helped out today. I want to know the na of their boss and the reason as to why he is helping ." She ordered.
She had already guessed that the person behind the other team was the sa person who tried to get the article about her removed from the internet.
There was an ally hiding in the shadows and she wanted to know who?
If only she knew that her ally was standing right beside her, looking at her with dazzled eyes.
"Who is he?" Aiden caught sight of Mu Yuehan and looked at him with suspicion.
"He was my bodyguard. Ignore him." She looked at Mu Yuehan with disinterest and then back at Aiden. "Take to the warehouse. I want to et the mbers of eagle whom you have caught."
"I am sorry, Miss." Aiden bowed his head. "But we were able to catch only one mber. Others are in the custody of the second group."
"Take to him then." Zhou Liying clenched her fist hard, eager to know about the identity of another team.
Without wasting any second, Aiden took Zhou Liying toward his car. Zhou Liying completely ignored Mu Yuehan, leaving him alone at the dockyard. She climbed into the car. And soon, her car was driving toward the secret warehouse where the eagle mber was taken.
When Zhou Liying and her team were gone, Mu Yuehan returned to his car. He looked at Li Tao with dark eyes, "take to the secret warehouse. I want to et the mbers of the eagle gang."

With narrowed eyes, Zhou Liying looked at the eagle. She took a pistol from Aiden and walked toward the man.
"Tell the na of your hirer? Who hired you? Who gave you the order to kill ?" Her voice was sharp and without any emotion. It could make anyone scared but not the eagle man.
"Look who is here?" the man chuckled and spat on her face.
Zhou Liying's eyes fired up with anger and she placed her pistol on the nape of the eagle, pouting it toward his head.
"Answer like a good boy, otherwise, I will blow your head." She hissed and leaned toward him, looking dangerously into his eyes. Her eyes were bloodshot and murderous.
"Kill , I am not afraid of death. You should be the one afraid of death, not ." The eagle chuckled. "What are you waiting for, kill , kill ....."
Zhou Liying looked into his eyes. They were filled with determination and loyalty. She saw the sa loyalty in the eyes of her guards. She knew they were trained to not cheat their boss at any cost.
"As you wish." She said coldly and fired three bullets in his head. The man looked at her with wide eyes and then closed his eyes.
"Miss…." Aiden looked at her with shock.
Zhou Liying straightened up and smoothened her dress as if she did not kill soone just now. "He was not going to say anything. So why waste our ti on him?" she shrugged and passed the pistol in the hand of Aiden.
