"Monica, take the order from the table number eight." Voice of Marta bombed around in the Hope restaurant.
Now, Hope restaurant was nothing like the hope restaurant from the four years back which was run by two ladies, one Zhou Liying, Nian Tian of that ti and Marta.
It saw many glories in the last two years after the opening of the hotel which Mu Yuehan was building on juju island. In the mories of his TianTian, Mu Yuehan took it upon himself about the developnt and success of this restaurant.
A major renovation of Hope restaurant took place and Mu Yuehan invited a team of restaurant managers from overseas to look after his restaurant. The team was working hard, to give the best service to their custors.
Hope restaurant was the top-class restaurant with multi-story building, different varieties of dishes where visitors visited to have their food on their visit to juju island.
"Marta, there is soone to see you." Soone inford to Marta.
"Send him to my office," Marta answered. She washed her hands. She then made her way toward her office.
"Yes?" she smiled at her visitor.
"I am sent here by Mister Mu. He has sothing to ask from you."
The man inford her and passed her his I-pad. Marta froze for a second when she heard the investigator. After controlling her emotions, she accepted the I-pad.
Many thoughts were running in her mind. She was scared and nervous to see the face of Mu Yuehan after four years. She did not know what he wanted to talk with her.
"Hello, Marta." She saw the face of Mu Yuehan and heard his familiar voice.
Tears appeared in her eyes. Maybe they were happy tears, tears of seeing Mu Yuehan after such a long ti. Or maybe they were tears of guilt, guilt that she had hidden the fact from him about the pregnancy of Zhou Liying.
"Mu Yuehan, how are you?" Marta asked, her voice was soft and hoarse.
"I am good." Mu Yuehan replied with a short smile on his lips. "I have sothing to ask from you, Marta. I hope you will answer truthfully."
Voice of Mu Yuehan was calm and friendly but there was threat hidden beneath his tune. This threat was not hidden from Marta. His facial expressions were yelling loud that 'he knows.'
"Shoot away." Marta forced a smile on her lips, feeling scared. Her guts were already telling her what he was going to ask from her.
"You were with TianTian during the ti of her kidnapping, were you not?" he inquired.

Marta felt her knees buckled because of the fear she felt when hearing his question. She stumbled down on the nearby chair. "I was. You know that. Then why are you asking this question?"
"Did you notice any abnormality in her when you were with her? I an, was she vomiting or feeling dizzy?" Mu Yuehan asked in a serious voice but his facial features were telling her a different story.
Marta took deep breaths and looked in the hopeful eyes of Mu Yuehan from her I-pad. She could hide the fact but she knew there was no use of it. Mu Yuehan seed to have a hunch of the truth and she'd be doing injustice to him by hiding this fact for any more ti.
Mu Yuehan was eagerly looking at the expressions on the face of Marta and from the way she shivered at his question, or the way she looked at him with guilt, confird that she knew.
Not only that, his TianTian knew that she was pregnant when she got kidnapped.
Not able to take the silence of Marta who was not saying anything, he yelled, "Marta, I…"
"She was pregnant." Marta interrupted him with a loud cry. She then started to sob. "I am sorry. I am so sorry." She wailed. "She was pregnant when she got kidnapped. We were not coming back from my friend's house but we visited an Obstetrician."
Mu Yuehan fell on his knees when he heard Marta. Tears were freely flowing from his eyes. He looked at Marta with betrayal. "Why Marta? Why did you not tell that she was pregnant?"
"Because I did not want to give you more pain." She yelled in between her sobs. "You were already broken upon knowing that she was kidnapped. I did not want to add in your guilt and burden by telling you that Nian Tian was not alone but she was with the baby. I knew you'd have never been able to bear that your baby too was in danger. I am sorry. But what I did was what I thought was good for you."
Mu Yuehan silently sobbed when he heard her. He took his lips in-between his teeth and his body shook violently. He was feeling as if soone had stabbed in his heart. Soone was pulling his heart away from the chest.
He felt he had lost a part of his heart after knowing that she was pregnant and he had lost his baby. If he had stayed with her, maybe they together were going to cherish the news of her pregnancy.
"Nian Tian was very happy upon knowing that she was pregnant. We both were planning to visit Shanghai to give you a surprise." Marta removed her tears and recollected last mories with her. "She wanted to be back for you, but before that..."
Marta stopped talking. Silence pertain in-between both of them.
"Boss, you alright?" Li Tao looked at Mu Yuehan with concern.
"I am good." Mu Yuehan hoarsely whispered and removed his tears. "Do you have any copy of her pregnancy report?" He inquired to Marta.
"I do." She replied in a soft voice.
"Good, give it to my man. I want her reports." He paused, thinking of sothing. "And Marta, I am not angry at you. I understand your reasonings."
Marta smiled and looked at him over her tears. She nodded her head before passing the I-pad to the man of Mu Yuehan.
"Take the reports from Marta. Also, pay a visit to the obstetrics. You may find sothing else with her about my baby." Mu Yuehan ordered and passed the I-pad back to Li Tao. "You can go now."
Li Tao left and closed the doors of penthouse behind himself.
Feeling numb and broken, Mu Yuehan made his way toward his room. He fell on the bed and cried in his pillow. He cried for the loss of baby which could not co into this world.
