Lin Ruoyun adamantly refused to give in.
"I won’t? Then I’ll go in myself!"
After saying this, Liu Zheng reached for the suitcase to open it.
Lin Ruoyun, frightened, exclaid hastily, "Don’t, don’t touch it!"
Having said this, she rushed over and opened the suitcase.
When Liu Zheng saw the suitcase open, there was only a nightgown and a pair of flats inside; none of the other items had been packed.
"This girl, she couldn’t have tricked into coming here on purpose, could she? Doesn’t she know I’m a big bad wolf? How could she be so careless with her clothing?"
Liu Zheng felt sowhat dejected.
"It wasn’t on purpose, I really didn’t do it on purpose. I just wanted you to leave, I never thought about having you help with the clothes!"
Lin Ruoyun explained.
"Then why did you ss up the suitcase like that?" Liu Zheng asked.
"I..." Lin Ruoyun didn’t know how to explain.
"Alright, put on your clothes first. I’ve packed your things for you."
As she spoke, she took down a pair of long pants from a hanger and handed them to Liu Zheng.
Liu Zheng took them, looked them over carefully, and realized they were a pair of black shorts.
Even though the shorts weren’t quite the right size, they shouldn’t look this way when worn, should they?
"Who bought these clothes? Why are they so revealing? Or did you buy them?" Liu Zheng asked.
"What’s it to you if I bought them? Is it any of your business?" Lin Ruoyun snapped back.
"Uh!"
Liu Zheng was taken aback and didn’t know what to say.
"Aren’t you going to take them off? You don’t think these are so kind of sexy lingerie, do you?" Lin Ruoyun continued to ask.
"I certainly don’t. I was just checking to see if they were couple’s items," Liu Zheng retorted with a pout.
"Then why don’t you try them on?" Lin Ruoyun suggested.
"Fine, I’ll take them off. Who’s afraid?"
As he spoke, Liu Zheng began to take off the pants.
"Don’t take them off, how can you be so annoying? Stop right now!"
Seeing Liu Zheng about to strip, Lin Ruoyun imdiately yelled.
"Haha..."
Liu Zheng started to laugh loudly at Lin Ruoyun’s shyness.
"Have you laughed enough?"
Lin Ruoyun glared at him angrily.
"Not nearly enough!" Liu Zheng shook his head and replied.
"You..." Lin Ruoyun was at a loss for words.
"What about ?"
Liu Zheng inquired.
"Nothing! I’m tired, and you can go now!"
Lin Ruoyun said gruffly.
"I’m not going! I won’t leave even if you try to make ."
Liu Zheng plopped down on the sofa.
Lin Ruoyun, furious, stamped her feet and fell silent.
"By the way, Lin Ruoyun, there’s sothing I don’t understand."
Liu Zheng suddenly said.
"What’s that?"
Lin Ruoyun replied irritably.
"Since you’re already my girlfriend, why do you always avoid every ti you see ?"
Liu Zheng asked bluntly.
"Who said I’m your girlfriend?" Lin Ruoyun retorted angrily.
"If you’re not my girlfriend, then why do you wait for to co ho every night down at the building?"
"That’s because... because I want you to see with your own eyes who’s tougher between the two of us, who’s really the most formidable!"
Lin Ruoyun stamred for a while before squeezing out these words.
"So, you want to prove that you’re tougher than ?"
"So what if I do?"
Lin Ruoyun straightened her chest and declared.
"Alright then!"
Liu Zheng said and reached out to pull Lin Ruoyun into his arms.
"What are you doing? Pervert!"
"I am a pervert, so what?"
Lin Ruoyun, being hugged by Liu Zheng, felt her heartbeat accelerate.
"Then why not give it a try?"
Lin Ruoyun glared with wide eyes at Liu Zheng as if to say, co on if you dare!
Liu Zheng reached out and pinched Lin Ruoyun’s nose, saying, "You little minx, getting bolder by the day, even daring to challenge !"
"Let go!"
Lin Ruoyun struggled, but her strength was no match, and she didn’t budge an inch.
"So, should I kiss you or not?"
Liu Zheng asked with a teasing smile.
"Get lost!"
"Alright, forget it then!"
"You... you’re bullying !"
Lin Ruoyun was visibly upset, her eyes even beginning to redden slightly.
"How am I bullying you? I didn’t bully you!" Liu Zheng hurriedly retorted.
"Hmph! You not only bully , but you also touched !" Lin Ruoyun pointed at her chest as she spoke.
Seeing Lin Ruoyun’s anger, Liu Zheng imdiately changed his tune, "Alright, alright, my bad. Is that not enough for you? But can you tell why you were waiting for downstairs?"
"You... you jerk, you know I like you, yet you still deliberately provoke ?" Lin Ruoyun asked with a mournful expression.
Hearing Lin Ruoyun’s words, Liu Zheng was at a loss for words.
"Alright, stop making a fuss. Hurry up and get dressed! I brought you a new set of clothes. Put them on quickly. I need to go shower, or else I’m going to catch a cold!" Liu Zheng said.
"I don’t believe your nonsense. Are you scared that I’m going to eat you up, so you’re making excuses to run away, is that it?" Lin Ruoyun continued to probe.
"No, I just don’t like to wear clothes in soone else’s ho!" said Liu Zheng in his defense.
Lin Ruoyun scrutinized Liu Zheng’s body a few tis and then asked, "I think you look pretty handso in these clothes. Why are you reluctant to wear them at my house? Are you worried about being misunderstood?"
Liu Zheng nodded.
"Then let ask you, inside your wardrobe, are all those casual clothes given to you by your girlfriend? And she’s a super beauty, isn’t she?" Lin Ruoyun asked.
"How did you know?"
Liu Zheng exclaid in surprise.
"How could I not know? Are the two of you living together?" Lin Ruoyun asked.
"She and I are just classmates. We have a pure friendship!"
Liu Zheng quickly explained.
"Then why won’t you wear these clothes? Are they better than what I’m wearing?"
"No, I just don’t like wearing clothes at soone else’s place. Besides, we’re just classmates. I’m not your boyfriend, so why would I need to explain what I wear to you?"
Liu Zheng contested.
After a mont of silence, Lin Ruoyun slowly said, "Actually, you don’t have to be so uptight. I won’t mind."
"You won’t mind?"
"Yeah, you don’t like anyway. We’re just plain friends. I don’t see the need to fuss over it!"
Having said that, Lin Ruoyun turned and ran into the bedroom, closing the door behind her and leaving Liu Zheng with her departing figure.
Liu Zheng stood outside the room, forcing a bitter smile, thinking to himself: Looks like wooing a girl is indeed a bit challenging, isn’t it?

After Liu Zheng got ho, he started washing up and changing clothes, then went out to buy a set of clean clothes since his current outfit was rather scruffy.
While taking a shower, Liu Zheng couldn’t help but think of Lin Ruoyun again.
Thinking of the previous night’s events made Liu Zheng feel a prickling heat, especially in a certain area, which felt so swollen it seed like it could explode at any mont.

After showering and getting dressed, Liu Zheng took out his phone and dialed Chen Yajing’s number.
At that mont, Chen Yajing was busy at work. The phone rang, and when she saw it was Liu Zheng, she hesitated before pressing the answer button.
"Hello... Why are you calling so early today?"
The call was barely connected when Chen Yajing’s sweet voice ca through the speaker.
"Yajing, it’s Liu Zheng. I’d like to invite you to lunch!"
Hearing Liu Zheng’s voice, Chen Yajing was taken aback.
"What’s the matter? Yajing, is sothing wrong?" Liu Zheng asked, seeing no reply from her end.
"Oh... nothing..." Chen Yajing said before hanging up the phone.
"Yajing, what is it? Is sothing wrong?" Zhang Xiaoyan looked up from her desk and asked.
"It’s nothing. It was Liu Zheng on the phone. He said he wants to treat us both to lunch!"
"Oh... the kid’s pretty considerate!" Zhang Xiaoyan said with a smile.
"And you’re smiling. Look, he’s inviting you out to eat, so behave yourself, don’t ss things up for !"
"How did I ss things up? I’m trying to help you, aren’t I?"
"Help ? Humph, you better just take care of yourself!"
"Alright, my dear lady, I’m just trying to help you out since I’m free!"
Chen Yajing rolled her eyes.
After sending the address to Chen Yajing, Liu Zheng went downstairs, got into a car, and left the apartnt.
He headed straight to the third floor upon arriving at the hotel.
When he reached the private room’s door, Liu Zheng took a deep breath and knocked.
