Upon hearing Liu Zheng’s words, the Sales Manager quickly nodded in agreent.
"Okay, President, this is this year’s sales report. Please have a look, and if there are no objections, you can sign it, and then we can start with the recruitnt," said the Sales Manager, handing a stack of docunts to Liu Zheng.
As Liu Zheng started flipping through the docunts, a look of surprise deepened on his face because they contained detailed descriptions of the website and the industry.
"So much?" Liu Zheng couldn’t help exclaiming upon seeing the report.
"Yes, President, we have now sorted all the custor data for you to review," the Sales Manager quickly explained when he saw Liu Zheng’s astonished reaction.
On hearing this, Liu Zheng hastily skimd through the report. In just one morning, they had managed to complete all the custor data, which showed that the company had grown to such an impressive level in just two short months.
Liu Zheng thought to himself as he looked over the report.
"Alright, President, do you need anything else? If there’s nothing specific to add, we can start with the recruitnt," urged the Sales Manager, seeing that Liu Zheng was still fixated on the report without responding.
"Uh..." Liu Zheng was montarily stunned, then he quickly shook his head and said with a smile, "No, there’s no need for recruitnt with this report."
Hearing Liu Zheng’s words left the Sales Manager puzzled, "President, you an..."
Liu Zheng smiled slightly and explained, "I’ve already got several hundred people, let’s not waste resources; they’re all promising material."
Realizing what Liu Zheng ant, the Sales Manager finally understood and chuckled, "Oh, I see now."
"Well, since there’s no issue, let’s begin with the recruitnt. I want everyone to take this seriously, no slacking off, got it?" Liu Zheng announced loudly, smacking the table.
At Liu Zheng’s words, the sales staff quickly nodded their heads in agreent.
Seeing this, Liu Zheng smiled and said, "Alright then, let’s get ready at once."
"Yes, President," a salesperson from the clothing store said with a smile upon hearing this.
Liu Zheng nodded and turned to leave.
The Sales Manager watched Liu Zheng’s receding figure with a touch of surprise in his eyes and said, "What’s with the President today? He seems a bit odd, doesn’t he?"
"Could it be because of Su Corporation and Huaxia Corporation’s joint new product launch that the President is so excited?" the Sales Manager pondered and nodded to himself.
This thought struck the Sales Manager who then hurried to the Sales Departnt to start arranging for the recruitnt.
Liu Zheng stayed in the company for half the day, looking through the thick stacks of docunts with a growing headache, unsure of who to choose as his assistant.
In the end, Liu Zheng decided to pick Su Ying.
Though Su Ying had a substantial workload this ti, and her responsibilities were the heaviest of all, being the youngest, she was also among the best perforrs.
In Liu Zheng’s office.
"Su Ying, you’ll be in charge of organizing these reports for this ti," Liu Zheng directed, pointing at a stack of papers on his desk.
"Certainly, President," Su Ying responded imdiately, and then quickly began to sort through the docunts.
Before long, Su Ying had efficiently organized all the reports.
"President, please review," Su Ying placed the docunts down and said with a smile.
Seeing all this, Liu Zheng nodded and comnted, "Good work, truly an elite trained by Su Corporation and Huaxia Corporation."
Hearing Liu Zheng’s words made Su Ying sowhat bashful because, despite her limited abilities, she was a highly-paid recruit from Su Corporation, but Liu Zheng still held her in high regard, perhaps even sowhat exaggeratively.
"You may go now. I’ll look over this docunt and then we’ll proceed with the recruitnt," Liu Zheng said, then settled down to continue reviewing the information, seeming quite exhausted. He had spent almost the entire morning buried in the docunt.
Observing Liu Zheng’s weary disposition, Su Ying couldn’t help but wonder if he truly was as competent and formidable as others claid him to be.
At that thought, a blush crept onto Su Ying’s cheeks, making her look quite enticing.
...
"Ding-a-ling-a-ling..." Suddenly, the phone began to ring.
"Hello, may I ask who you’re looking for?" Liu Zheng answered, his voice lacking energy.
"Mr. Ye, it’s , Zhou Liping," ca a sweet and pleasant female voice from the other end.
The sound of this voice instantly perked up Liu Zheng, who quickly said, "Oh, Director Zhou, is there sothing you need from ?"
Hearing Liu Zheng’s words, Zhou Liping said, "Mr. Ye, we have just received a batch of new design drafts, and we hope Mr. Ye can co over to take a look and see the effects of these new drafts."
"New design drafts, okay, I’ll co over now." At these words, Liu Zheng said with a smile. It seed he was quite lucky—having joined the company not long ago, he had stumbled upon a new order.
"That’s great, I’ll wait for you downstairs." After saying this, the other end of the line went dead, and Liu Zheng nodded with a smile.
"Liu Zheng, you haven’t had lunch yet, right? Co on, I’ll take you out to eat," said Wang Qian, entering the office with a beaming smile.
Liu Zheng was taken aback, then he laughed and said, "No thanks, I have so things to take care of and have to leave now. Qian Qian, so other ti, okay? I’ll treat you then, what would you like to eat?"
Hearing Liu Zheng’s words, Wang Qian smiled slightly and said, "Hmm, I want to eat the dishes you make!"
At this, Liu Zheng suddenly felt a bit awkward; he had forgotten that Wang Qian enjoyed his cooking. He hadn’t actually cooked before and had no idea if it would taste good.
Seeing the embarrassed look on Liu Zheng’s face, Wang Qian imdiately realized what was going on and hurriedly said, "Haha, just kidding with you. Let’s go have lunch."
"Sure." At her words, Liu Zheng nodded and followed Wang Qian to the cafeteria.
In the cafeteria, after the two had found a place to sit, the waiter brought over a steaming bowl of beef noodles.
"Liu Zheng, try this and see how it tastes," Wang Qian asked with a smile.
"Okay." On hearing this, Liu Zheng nodded, picked up his chopsticks, took a bite of noodles, and began to chew slowly.
After finishing the bowl of noodles, Liu Zheng looked up and said with a smile to Wang Qian, "It’s delicious."
"That’s good. Liu Zheng, you’ve been working so hard lately. Don’t overdo it, make sure to get so rest," Wang Qian said affectionately.
"Sure, don’t worry, Sister Qian Qian." At this, Liu Zheng replied with a smile.
"Okay, now that we’re full, it’s ti to get back to work." Wang Qian chuckled, then stood up.
"Let help you," Liu Zheng also quickly stood and said.
"Sure." At his offer, Wang Qian didn’t decline and agreed.
Thus, the two began working together.
Ti slowly passed, and before they knew it, the afternoon had gone by.
"Sister Qian Qian, I’ve got all the materials sorted out."
"Good." At his words, Wang Qian nodded with a smile, handed the file in her hand to Liu Zheng, and said, "Liu Zheng, these are your tasks for the coming days, take a look."
"Okay." Liu Zheng replied with a smile, took the materials, and started to carefully examine them, losing track of ti in the process.
"Ding-ling-ling..." Just then, Liu Zheng’s phone rang in his pocket.
Taking out his phone, Liu Zheng answered the call, "Hello, may I ask who’s speaking?"
"Hello, is this Liu Zheng?" On the other end, a sweet voice ca through.
Hearing this, Liu Zheng was stunned for a mont, then hurriedly recognized it as a call from He ngjie and said, "Yes, this is Liu Zheng. May I ask what it’s about?"
"Are you free now?" He ngjie inquired.
"I’m free now, but I’m not sure what Miss He needs?" Liu Zheng asked, puzzled.
"Nothing much, I just wanted to invite you to have dinner together tonight," He ngjie said with a laugh.
Upon hearing this, Liu Zheng’s mouth twitched.
"No need, thank you," Liu Zheng declined He ngjie’s invitation straightforwardly.
He was a married man and although he didn’t mind, he was afraid of hurting Wang Qian.
"Why? Don’t you even have the courage to have a al with a friend?" On the other end of the phone, He ngjie’s voice sounded a bit angry – she had never been rejected by a man before.
"No, it’s not like that, Miss He, you’ve misunderstood. It’s not that I don’t dare to have dinner with you, it’s just that I really don’t have the ti right now. If there’s nothing else, let’s leave it at that," Liu Zheng hurriedly explained.
He was soone’s husband now, and his wife was pregnant, so there was no way he was about to start anything with another girl. Apart from Wang Qian, he didn’t intend to get involved in any suggestive relationships with other won.
"Hmph!" At his words, there was a cold snort from He ngjie over the phone, and her tone was laced with disappointnt before she hung up.
Liu Zheng felt a twinge of guilt as he watched this unfold.
