Upon ntioning the last incident, Liu Kai felt a surge of anger.

He shook his head repeatedly and said, "It’s not that I’m incompetent, but on that day, as I was pulling up my pants, I wasn’t paying attention and he ambushed . If I had been vigilant, that kid would have been beaten to the point of shitting himself."

Wang Erniu grew impatient listening to him continue and waved his hands dismissively, saying, "Enough, no need to say more, it’s useless! Next ti you see him, get your revenge."

After tossing that remark, Wang Erniu’s gaze began to waver with uncertainty as he said, "Have you ever thought about it, Liu Zheng’s family is so poor they cling to every penny, where did he get the money to pay you back, and where did he get the money to buy an electric tricycle?"

Reminded by Wang Erniu, Liu Kai’s eyes imdiately brightened.

"Yeah! Where did this kid get the money from?"

After thinking for a mont, he blinked and said, "He’s been hanging around the mountains lately, could it be that he found so treasure in the mountains?"

"Hmm! That’s really a possibility, otherwise where did he get the money? We need to co up with a plan to probe that kid’s secrets; it would be best to get our hands on that treasure. And at the sa ti, we could get revenge for last ti."

Unlike them, Zhao Cuihua’s eyes were filled with intense envy and resentnt.

"Hmph! No wonder you wouldn’t touch even when I took off my pants; you must have hooked up with that little vixen Liu Sui. So, you want to open a clinic, huh? Fine! I’ll go to your clinic with money later today, and I’ll make sure you beco my underling."

......

After leaving the fruits and ats at Liu Sui’s ho, Liu Zheng was ready to leave.

Concerned with improving life for his brother and sister-in-law, Liu Zheng declined the Liu sisters’ persuasion to stay and left straight away.

Once in his vehicle, Liu Zheng quickly drove towards ho.

Upon reaching the alley at his ho’s entrance, Liu Zheng had just stopped his electric tricycle when, before he could even get off, a figure appeared at the mouth of the alley and jumped onto the vehicle, sitting down beside him.

Startled, Liu Zheng turned to look and couldn’t help but be taken aback.

The person was none other than Zhao Cuihua.

"Cui Hua, what are you doing?"

Liu Zheng was a bit bewildered. When he tried to get off, Zhao Cuihua grabbed his arm, placing his hand directly on her thigh.

"You..."

Liu Zheng was shocked and tried to withdraw his hand.

But as he moved his arm, Zhao Cuihua crossed her legs, trapping Liu Zheng’s hand with her other leg.

Now, Liu Zheng couldn’t pull his hand back even if he wanted to.

Alard, Liu Zheng inwardly gasped, but said out loud, "Cui Hua, what are you doing? Aren’t you afraid of being seen here? If your husband finds out, wouldn’t he... just chop us both up?"

Zhao Cuihua’s body leaned in closer, resting on Liu Zheng as she squinted her eyes and said, "What’s there to fear? Everyone’s busy cooking at ho right now."

"You weren’t in the village this afternoon; you have no idea how much I missed you."

This woman was brazen, to say the least, even overt.

Especially her actions, which made Liu Zheng feel extrely uncomfortable.

She wasn’t just seducing Liu Zheng; her deanor suggested she intended to take him right there on the spot.

"Tell , little Zheng, are you still going to open your clinic? I’ve got all my money ready for you."

Hearing Zhao Cuihua’s seductive words, Liu Zheng felt as if his bones were lting.

Feeling the smoothness and softness in his hand, his mind pondered over Zhao Cuihua’s words.

He was serious about expanding the clinic, but now the only thing he was short of was money.

And here was Zhao Cuihua, offering money to him.

Liu Zheng was truly reluctant to refuse.

Seeing that Liu Zheng remained silent, Zhao Cuihua reached out and caught his other hand, then directly slipped it inside her blouse.

"Stop thinking about it, right now you drive with your sister to the cornfield outside the village, and once you’re there, she’ll give you the money."

With such a temptress in his arms, let alone the fact she was going to pay him, wouldn’t any normal man be unable to resist this kind of seduction?

Liu Zheng was a normal man, and he, of course, was no exception.

So.

At that mont, Liu Zheng was almost ready to agree and drive Zhao Cuihua straight to the cornfield.

But.

Just then, a crisp "ding-ling-ling" of a cell phone ringtone suddenly sounded.

This ring of the cell phone instantly woke Liu Zheng from his daze.

Where there had been a fire in his lower belly, now, because of the cell phone ring, it slowly extinguished.

He quickly fished out his phone and checked the number.

The number was unfamiliar, not from soone he knew. Liu Zheng thought for a mont, then said to Zhao Cuihua beside him, "Sister Cuihua, you go back first. I’ll co find you later when I’m free."

Being pushed away by Liu Zheng, Zhao Cuihua was already feeling annoyed in her heart.

Now, with Liu Zheng asking her to leave first, she suddenly beca a bit angry.

But at this mont, Liu Zheng didn’t care about any of that and simply pushed her off the electric tricycle.

After giving a brief explanation, he drove off, disappearing into the distance.

Watching Liu Zheng’s retreating figure, Zhao Cuihua couldn’t help but stomp her foot heavily, seething with anger.

This kid, he ran off again.

The duck that was already cooked—just a mont ago, Liu Zheng seed almost ready to agree.

But now, he was whisked away by a phone call, which was really too unhelpful for her own plans.

Feeling indignant, Zhao Cuihua decided that next ti she must succeed in getting Liu Zheng into her clutches.

By then, she didn’t believe he wouldn’t get addicted.

The more unattainable sothing seed, the better it appeared to be, the more satisfying it felt to obtain.

Zhao Cuihua felt this way now.

Liu Zheng quickly left the alley riding the electric tricycle.

He also breathed a sigh of relief because the phone’s ringtone wasn’t soft and he had been getting intimate with Zhao Cuihua. If soone had seen, it could have been really awkward.

At that ti, he would have been beyond explanation.

Moreover, the call was from an unknown number, he didn’t know who it was or what they wanted, so it was better to avoid Zhao Cuihua.

Reaching a secluded spot, Liu Zheng stopped the electric tricycle and then pulled out his phone to return the call to that unfamiliar number.

The person on the other end picked up quickly.

"Hello."

"Hello! Is this Mr. Liu Zheng?"

"Yes, it is. May I ask who’s speaking?"

Liu Zheng found the woman’s voice on the other end of the phone familiar.

"I’m Qin Wanru. We t a couple of days ago at my Renxin Hall."

"Oh, Ms. Qin! Is there sothing you need? If it’s about herbs, I just visited your shop today, so if you need more, I will have to rush to the mountain this afternoon to gather so."
