Soon, they arrived at the office together.
Liu Zheng had wanted to leave as well.
He always felt it wasn’t quite right; it sowhat resembled snooping into soone else’s family affairs, and he felt a little awkward just listening in.
So as soon as he sat down, he imdiately spoke up.
"Maybe it’s best if I go first and you talk," he said.
But to his surprise, Liu Jiaxin imdiately shook her head and replied,
"Didn’t you just say you had nothing else to do? Why are you leaving all of a sudden?"
Upon hearing this, Liu Zheng didn’t conceal his thoughts and candidly expressed himself.
"After all, this is your privacy, and an internal matter of yours. I think it might not be quite right for an outsider like to listen in."
Expecting so complicated reason, it turned out to be just that.
The person before him shook their head repeatedly, saying,
"Okay, okay, you’re not an outsider to at all; there’s no need to overthink it. Just stay for now. You’ll be working with to resolve this issue in a few days anyway. Listening now, you can at least get an idea of what’s going on."
Seeing her say this, Liu Zheng gave it serious thought and felt that it indeed made sense. He could no longer keep making excuses, and naturally, he stayed.
Before long, Lao Chen began to speak.
"I’ve sent a few of my trusted people to thoroughly investigate, but they’ve barely found any information. Whoever it is, they must be powerful and definitely soone high-level from the inside."
"But just this morning, suddenly soone inford of a clue. Apparently, not just one but all of them were covering for each other, which is why it took so long to find out nothing."
After hearing this, Liu Jiaxin’s expression turned extrely grave.
She had long suspected that this matter wasn’t simple.
But she had never imagined it would be to this extent.
If so, it was undoubtedly terrifying.
At this mont, she too didn’t speak, and neither did Liu Zheng. He had never thought the situation would be so complex.
The room fell into silence for a ti, with no one uttering another word.
The drop of a pin could be heard clearly on the floor.
Facing such a situation, they were completely at a loss for what to do.
It was only after so ti that Liu Jiaxin let out a soft sigh and said,
"It seems they’ve been scheming for a while now, specifically targeting . They’ve disliked my managent style for quite so ti."
Lao Chen imdiately nodded in agreent.
"That’s right, boss. But don’t worry, no matter what, I’ll do everything in my power to root them out. We must not tolerate such traitors under any circumstances."
In that mont, Liu Zheng could see just how angry Lao Chen truly was.
Veins were throbbing on his forehead.
It had to be said, Lao Chen was incredibly loyal.
Logic dictated that with his abilities, he could have easily started his own gang.
But for many years, he had always stayed by Liu Jiaxin’s side.
Always helping her handle these matters in silence.
This alone proved his exceptional capabilities.
And how truly trustworthy he was.
"Looks like I have to make a trip back in the next couple of days. I want to see for myself what exactly they are up to."
At that mont, Liu Jiaxin’s eyes narrowed slightly,
and she indeed had so plans in mind.
No matter what, she wouldn’t let those people get away with this so easily.
She had built everything from scratch.
She had faced many difficulties and setbacks along the way and had managed to overco them all.
Now confronted with this situation, she wouldn’t give up under any circumstances.
"Keep a close eye on their moves in the next few days. If you discover anything, let know imdiately," she instructed.
Hearing this, how could Lao Chen not know what to do?
He nodded without hesitation and said,
"No problem, boss. I’ll get right on it."
And he quickly left the place.
After all, they all took this matter very seriously.
They couldn’t afford to waste any more ti.
They had to gather more information as quickly as possible.
Otherwise, they didn’t know how things would unfold later on, and feared everything might beco even more complicated.
After Lao Chen had left,
Liu Jiaxin really started to feel the strain.
She lifted her hand and gently rubbed the tip of her nose, her eyes now closed.
Her mind kept replaying the incident Lao Chen had just ntioned.
It made her feel quite distressed.
"All those old shareholders have been fighting with from the beginning to the present, and many of them owe their current positions to the opportunities I gave them."
"I really don’t know why they would treat this way."
As she spoke those words, Liu Zheng imdiately ca to her side and gently patted her shoulder.
"Human greed is like a snake trying to swallow an elephant; many people are indeed very greedy. Starting with nothing, and once they get a little power, a taste of success, they might do anything to gain more."
"Was I wrong from the beginning? Should I not have made such choices?"
Seeing Liu Jiaxin clutch her head and speak these words, Liu Zheng imdiately shook his head,
"No matter what, this isn’t your fault, and you shouldn’t bla yourself for their mistakes. They are the ones who erred; why punish yourself for what they did?"
"Look, I know you’re in pain, but no matter what, I will always stay by your side, and I believe we will quickly get to the bottom of this and find out who is responsible."
He then hugged Liu Jiaxin tightly,
hoping to ease her emotions a bit.
Seeing her so troubled, he truly felt uncomfortable.
Honestly, after feeling Liu Zheng’s embrace, she did feel much better.
Having his company, how could it not be considered a good thing for her?
"Thank you for sticking with all this ti."
