Chapter 794: 725 ‘There is no third possibility.

Before they knew it, a group of Demon Clan mbers from the Moon Demon Territory, unknown to anyone, had quietly retreated.

Everyone had already received the news that the curse on the Enchanting Demon had been removed.

At this point, it was impossible to do anything to that Demon.

Thus, as the leader withdrew, the Old Demon Clan from the “Primordial Demon” also successively left the area and continued their infiltration in the Demon Realm.

“Well, that was a close call.”

Danass snapped his fingers upon receiving the news.

His father hadn’t succeeded—exactly the outco he had wanted.

Now, with his father gone, even the “Moon” Ambassador who seed to be on a mission to search for the Enchanting Demon but was covertly keeping an eye on him and sotis even surveilling him, reluctantly withdrew, proving the mission had indeed failed.

Of course…

“Your father and that colleague of yours are probably still suspicious of you.”

A girl’s voice erged from behind Danass and reached his ears.

Danass was unfazed.

“Being suspected is certain,” Danass said calmly. “In an organization like this, expecting anyone to be trustworthy is a far-fetched idea.”

Danass was very aware of how ruthless and indifferent his father was, and how suspicious and cautious.

If it weren’t for his father wanting to leave him so “insurance,” he would not have been born and wouldn’t have survived till now.

As for the “Moon” Ambassador, that woman had always had issues with him.

Therefore, Danass had been ntally prepared long ago.

“What do you plan to do next?” the girl asked. “Your Seventh Demon creation plan is about to end, and it seems you don’t have much ti left?”

“I know,” Danass replied nonchalantly. “But hurrying won’t help; my plan can succeed only after my father makes a move.”

“What if your father directly devours the nearly completed true Demon Infant to beco the Seventh Demon himself?” the girl asked tentatively. “What will you do then?”

“Don’t worry,” Danass smiled. “I naturally have a plan.”

“Good,” the girl chuckled. “I’ll just wait and see what you’re going to do.”

“I won’t disappoint you,” Danass promised with a fearless smile, murmuring, “Peace won’t last much longer in this world.”

“Yes,” the girl seed to visualize a scene, cheerfully saying, “Chaos is coming, and that makes it increasingly exciting.”

“Let’s hope we can reap all the spoils in this chaos,” Danass said with hopeful laughter. “Otherwise, life would be aningless.”

“Heh,” The girl laughed, either in agreent or disdain, and then fell silent.

Danass dusted off the dust on his robe and was about to turn away when he suddenly gasped and turned his head towards a direction.

There, very suddenly, a vortex appeared.

It was a mysterious vortex, emitting an indescribable glow and fluctuation.

“Is that… the essence of ti…?”

The girl’s surprised voice reached Danass’s ears again.

“The essence of ti?” Danass raised his eyebrows. “Could it be…”

Before he could finish his sentence, in the vortex of ti, a figure enveloped in rainbow light appeared.

It was a Goddess who seed to embody all the years of heaven and earth yet showed no signs of aging or antiquity, instead exuding an indescribable vitality.

“‘Which ti have I traveled to this ti?'”

The Goddess spoke in a puzzled tone, her voice incredibly lodious, yet it sounded like three voices layered together, with an undertone and echo, quite extraordinary.

“Indeed…”

Danass’s eyes flickered.

Around him, the few Demon Warriors clad in black robes reacted and tried to jump in front of Danass to shield him but were stopped by a hand from Danass.

“‘Eh?'”

There, the Goddess noticed Danass’s presence and, like finding a savior, quickly flew over.

“‘Hello,'” the Goddess said with an echo, asking Danass, “‘May I ask what ti it is now?'”

Upon hearing this, Danass paused for a mont before smiling.

“Of course, you may, beautiful lady,” Danass replied with utmost gentlemanliness and grace as he bowed to the Goddess, speaking with a tone full of respect, “It is now the thousandth year of the Peace Calendar. May I ask if this answer is of any help to you?”

The so-called “Peace Calendar” refers to the tiline that began after the war among the Three Clans ended, the Demon King was vanquished, and a peace treaty was signed by the races, ushering in an era of peace.

A thousand years of the Peace Calendar, in other words, signifies that a millennium has passed since the onset of the peace era.

“Ah!” the Goddess exclaid imdiately, joyously asking, “Then, has there been any significant event in the Demon Realm recently?”

“There has, my lady,” Danass replied, still in his gentle and polite deanor, “For example, just within the last week, notable events occurred in the Demon Realm, such as the battle between the revered Poison Demon Camina and a mysterious Evil God, the crumbling of the pathway to the Human Realm, and even the arrival of a hero from a thousand years past who is about to enter into a marriage pact with Lady Dragon Demon Ai. All these are hot and heavily discussed major events, you know?”

Hearing this, the Goddess’s eyes sparkled with increasing brightness.

Though a mont of guilt flickered through her eyes when she heard about the “crumbling of the pathway to the Human Realm,” she finally grew excited upon hearing about “the hero arriving in the Demon Realm.”

“This is wonderful! I’ve finally returned to my original ti!”

The Goddess clapped her hands happily and twirled around in midair, her movents full of naive charm and innocence, irresistibly endearing.

In contrast, though Danass’s smile was gentlemanly, it carried a hint of cunning.

“Are you here looking for that rumored Hero?”

Danass asked kindly.

“Yes!” the Goddess nodded emphatically, saying, “I’ve been searching for him for a long ti now, probably about ten years by my own feeling.”

“Is that so?” Danass said, appearing surprised, “You must really be enduring a lot.”

“Isn’t it?” the Goddess seed to have found soone to confide in, speaking with a saddened expression, “Without any reference point, I simply could not find the proper mont to re-enter the original tiline, resulting in constant ti travel, sotis to hundreds of years ago, sotis to hundreds of years from now. If it wasn’t for the Demon Realm about to enter a millennium, we might have been sent back a thousand years directly.”

“That era certainly had the Demon King, which would be terrifying,” the Goddess patted her chest with lingering fear, adding, “Moreover, we wouldn’t normally exist in that ti either. If we interfered with space-ti, causing the future to change, the ‘World’s Principle’ would surely pull us into the river of ti, making us slowly guide history back to its rightful course and the future that was ant to be. If it turned out that way, who knows how long it would take to return.”

“…That is indeed very hard,” Danass said after a mont of silence, then casually asked, “But you’ve been to the future as well? I’m quite curious what the future will be like.”

The Goddess answered almost without guile.

“It’s completely different from now,” the Goddess replied buoyantly, “At least, the Demon Realm centuries from now is completely different.”

“Like what?” Danass asked with feigned curiosity.

“Like…,” the Goddess thought for a mont, then ntioned uncertainly, “the number of Demons has increased?”

Danass fell silent.

At that mont, the Goddess seed to rember sothing important and blurted out in haste.

“That’s right, I still have to find the Hero, no more chatting.”

With that, the Goddess transford into a streak of rainbow light, shooting up into the sky towards a direction.

“Wait…”

Danass reacted, intending to retain her, but the Goddess had already vanished into the horizon.

Danass opened his mouth briefly, then chuckled to himself.

“The Hero went to the Moon Demon Territory, but you’re flying in the opposite direction, my lady.”

Just as he finished speaking, a young girl’s voice finally rang out.

“Is that what the Ti Goddess looks like when unified?” the girl laughed, “She really is quite immature in many ways.”

“After all, she’s only been born for two thousand years, which, by the Divine Race’s concept of ti, they are still genuine children,” Danass remarked nonchalantly, adding, “Nevertheless, the information she brought is indeed intriguing.”

“The number of Demons has increased… huh?” the girl pondered the statent and questioned, “I wonder what exactly led to that situation?”

“Well, isn’t it obvious?” Danass replied without hesitation, “Considering the current situation, there are only two possibilities.”

“Either our plan succeeded,”

“Or my father’s plan succeeded.”

“There’s no third possibility.”

Danass’s statent was t with the girl’s approval.

Although they did not know whether it was the forr or the latter, at least they had hope.

What the two did not know was that at this mont, the Ti Goddess still muttering as she sped across the sky of the Demon Realm.

“What in the world does that Hero want with so many Demons?”

“Really…”
