Chapter 770: 703 ‘You restored my mory.
In that instant, Shane’s first thought was very simple.
“I never expected such a prominent Enchanting Demon to be this kind of person!”
Shane’s look at Chafne had changed.
It beca one that resembled the way one would look at a female driver.
He really wanted to know what sort of dream the Enchanting Demon Lord, who everyone drooled over, was having.
It definitely wasn’t any decent dream…!
Shane’s eyes had already begun to squint faintly.
anwhile, Chafne was oblivious to all of this and continued to murmur in her sleep.
“Stop that…”
“I… I am the sister of your future bride…”
“Do you know what will happen if you ss with ?”
“Wuu… I… I am an Enchanting Demon…”
“You… heartless person…”
Chafne kept mumbling like this, slowly even her cheeks started to redden, and her fiery and voluptuous body writhed about, beads of sweat ford on her forehead, causing her breathing to beco rapid.
Shane, watching this scene, wiped away so sweat that had inexplicably appeared on his own brow.
“This witch, even in her dreams, can seduce soone to death; she’s simply trouble.”
Shane felt he couldn’t keep listening.
If he continued, he would definitely be seduced to death.
What’s more, the phrase “I am the sister of your future bride” that the witch ntioned held so much information that Shane started to feel deeply alard.
To avoid hearing too much of what he shouldn’t and potentially facing a deadly end, Shane quickly started to attend to serious matters.
Specifically, he began, while the traits of “sleep talking” were still at work, to ask a variety of questions to Chafne, who was trapped in her dreams.
However, with each question Shane asked, he started to feel worse and worse.
For example…
“Why have you been acting off recently?”
Chafne’s answer went like this:
“Who told that heartless person to tornt relentlessly…”
Uh-huh, Shane felt increasingly like he was going to be silenced.
But the questioning continued.
“Who is this heartless person?”
“Who else could it be? Of course, that detestable Hero…”
“… What did he do to you?”
“He… He kept tornting … Even when I begged for rcy… he still wouldn’t let go…”
“… How did he tornt you?”
“He tornted in my dream, and even last night…”
“… Why doesn’t he rember anything?”
“Of course, I can’t let him rember, or where would I put my face…?”
“…”
Thus, the questions Shane posed elicited one frightening and utterly bewildering answer after another.
Finally, Shane drew a conclusion.
He had gotten involved with an Enchanting Demon.
Without even his own awareness, he had fully devoured the Enchanting Demon, acclaid as the number one in the Three Realms, who captivated all beings, and for whom countless people went insane with obsession, leaving not a trace behind.
And this earth-shattering event just confird Shane’s bold speculation.
“… There must be so mistake.”
Shane was sweating profusely.
It was not that he didn’t want to accept it, rather the fact was simply too unscientific.
This was an Enchanting Demon!
One of the Six Great Demons, a Transcendent Level Existence, not even the Life Goddess or the Nature Goddess were her match; proclaid to be the number one beauty in the Three Realms, captivating all beneath the heavens!
After arriving in the Demon Realm, Shane had mostly heard about how the Alluring Demoness had made nurous heroes fall to their knees, how she made the world’s beings go mad with adoration, and yet she disdained them all, maintaining her purity, never sparing any man a direct glance.
Such a person was pushed over by him unknowingly?
He wouldn’t even dare to dream of it!
And also, there was no reason for it, right?
How could a re demon allow himself to tornt her like that?
Wouldn’t she resist?
Wouldn’t she repel?
Or had she taken a fancy to him a long ti ago?
But… Shane had only t her a few tis and hadn’t known her for more than a few days. Could he have already bedded her?
Nonsense!
Shane could only frantically scratch his head, overwheld by the terrifying amount of information.
Finally, he even started to suspect that this was all just a play Chafne put on to make fun of him.
So, Shane felt that there must have been so mistake.
“No, I must ask more carefully.”
Shane gritted his teeth, preparing to continue his questioning of Chafne.
However, just as Shane turned his gaze towards where Chafne lay, the scene that t his eyes made even more cold sweat break out all over him.
“…”
He saw that Chafne, without him knowing when, had opened her eyes, maintaining silence, yet firmly fixing her gaze on Shane, her look extraordinarily cold.
Shane felt a jolt in his heart, and looking at Chafne like this, he felt his spine go numb.
The two stared at each other, silent for a long ti.
After a mont, Shane began to back away.
“That… I walked into the wrong room… Sorry…”
After Shane stuttered out these words, he imdiately planned to make a run for it.
But Chafne casually threw a statent his way.
“If you dare leave, I’ll dare to announce to the entire Enchanting Demon City that you sneaked into my room in the middle of the night.”
Shane froze on the spot.
Inside, he cried out—”I’m done for.”
At that point, Shane could only slowly turn back around and look at Chafne, who was still lying there, coldly watching him, and force a smile uglier than crying.
“How did you wake up, Enchanting Demon Lord?”
Shane asked cautiously.
Chafne, however, revealed a cold smile.
“You may have hidden very well, so much that I didn’t sense any presence invading my side, but you even used magic on . How could I not realize that I had fallen under the spell of magic?”
In fact, Chafne should’ve been woken up when Shane had just cast the Grant Magic of Dream Talking.
The fact that she wasn’t imdiately woken up was thanks to the Holy Sword which also raised the Level of his Magic Skills, making the effects of the Grant Magic much stronger.
Plus, the magic Shane used wasn’t aggressive, not even one with negative effects; it was just a Basic Magic that made soone talk in their sleep, so an off-guard Chafne inadvertently fell for it for a mont.
But Chafne was still a Demon after all, and she managed to wake up in the end.
And she also sensed what she had just revealed.
“Do you know everything now?”
Chafne sat up, speaking those words indifferently.
Her deanor was as if she were ntioning a trivial matter too small to be any smaller, exceptionally casual.
Shane let out a dry laugh, then stopped talking.
He knew that at this ti, saying nothing was the right choice.
Sure enough, Chafne didn’t explode imdiately but instead revealed a sweet smile to Shane, who seed to agree.
“Do you feel like you’ve made a huge profit? The enchanting Alluring Demoness that has chard the entire world has fallen into your hands, right?”
Upon hearing this, Shane first subconsciously nodded, then imdiately shook his head furiously.
Chafne finally shed her casual deanor, looking at Shane with gritted teeth.
“I, Chafne, have never suffered such a loss. Now that you know, what do you think we should do?”
Chafne seed like she wanted to literally take a bite out of Shane.
But Shane wasn’t soone to be trifled with.
“What is there to do?” Shane countered, “It’s not like I forced myself on you. Although I don’t quite understand the situation, it seems like the main responsibility lies with you according to what you previously ntioned, right?”
“You…!” Chafne’s eyes widened.
But Shane also felt wronged and innocent.
“If you say it was , then I’ll accept it. But I’m completely clueless, I can’t even rember what happened, and I didn’t get to enjoy the process. All I’m left with is soreness and back pain. Who am I supposed to take this up with?”
Shane spoke with increasing confidence.
In fact, that was what he thought.
Chafne said he had gained a lot, and Shane indeed felt that way, but on second thought, he felt sothing was amiss.
How had he profited?
He had mindlessly perford what was supposed to be the most blissful act in the world, yet felt nothing at all, and all that was left for him was a “broken body” in dire need of nourishnt. How could this be considered a gain?
Besides, he genuinely still didn’t know exactly what had happened. He only knew that he seed to have conquered the Enchanting Demon in both dreams and reality.
But why could she feel sothing when he pushed her in the dream, and why did it cause him to suffer with a sore back every day?
Could dreams really turn into reality?
How did he manage to do it?
Moreover, how did this Witch enter his dreams and end up being cluelessly conquered by him? Shane had absolutely no idea.
To tell the truth, he was still half doubtful and didn’t dare to fully believe that all of this was real.
He could only say that he was utterly confused, and Chafne had muddled his mory too severely, combined with being completely unaware of the cause and how the matter unfolded to this stage. Having to provide an explanation under these circumstances was rather unreasonable for Fatty Hu.
Unless…
“Restore my mory.”
Shane made a request.
“If it turns out that all of this was indeed my doing, then I’ll give you an explanation, okay?”
Upon hearing this, Chafne was speechless.
Restore mories?
That wasn’t impossible.
Given the current relationship between Chafne and Shane, she could “connect” to him at any ti, transferring all the things she had obscured back to him.
But… that would remind him of how she was tossed around by him, right!?
This…
“No way!”
Chafne refused without a second thought, indignantly.
Instantly, Shane also got angry.
“You bla but won’t let rember it all. Tell , is that fair?”
Shane’s tone beca aggressive.
“Or did you actually do sothing shaful, sothing you’re afraid to let rember, so you accused first to control the situation?”
Shane was seriously considering this possibility.
Now, Chafne felt she was in a tight spot.
If we’re talking about things that are shaful, what she had done did carry a hint of it.
Could she actually tell Shane that she had initially just wanted to seduce him to see if he really was that uninterested in her, but then it backfired on her?
As for the two subsequent tis, she wanted to take sothing from him, which was even more shaful.
Thinking of this, Chafne suddenly realized.
She was indeed accusing others first.
