"Ouch...!"

As Shane stepped out of his room, he couldn't help but exclaim.

A small figure had dashed toward him and forcefully plunged into his arms, striking his chest and giving him quite a scare.

"Lilith?"

Imdiately afterward, Shane recognized the true identity of the small figure nestled in his embrace.

It was indeed Lilith.

Lilith held on to Shane tightly, her large eyes fixed on him, reflecting a mix of reassurance, worry, and self-bla.

Understanding the situation, Shane spoke.

"It's okay, don't bla yourself."

He gently stroked the head of the girl in his arms, comforting her in a soft voice.

This little Goddess seed to be feeling guilty for not having been able to help him that day, for not having been able to protect Shane, just as Lasha had described.

But from Shane's perspective, the most important thing was that Lilith was safe and sound; nothing else mattered more.

That day, seeing Lilith being swallowed by his own Evil Energy had terrified Shane to the point where his blood nearly stopped flowing.

This little Goddess had beco extrely important in his heart.

So, overwheld by emotions, Shane had lost control that day, unsealing the Holy Sword and fully activating the power of the "Reincarnation Destiny," utilizing all available asures.

Reflecting now, Shane felt that he had been too impulsive at the ti.

After all, on closer consideration, although Moro had employed so tactic to restrain Lilith, it was just that—a restraint. It was nearly impossible for him to actually harm her.

Indeed, that was the case.

Moro had sacrificed a replica of Lilith's half-body to briefly wield Lilith's authority, controlling her Evil Energy, but he couldn't possibly use Lilith's own power to hurt her.

Her intention was only to make Lilith's power go out of control to buy so ti.

Once Lilith regained control of her power, she would imdiately escape the predicant.

In light of this, Shane indeed had been impulsive at that ti.

But impulsiveness aside, Shane didn't feel any regret.

Though it led to his true identity being exposed, and definitely more troubles up ahead, what of it?

He always considered himself an ordinary person, not like the protagonists in other novels who seem to view everything from a god's perspective, so calm and cunning.

If one had such great ntal fortitude, then even without transmigration, wouldn't one have made a na for oneself in the modern world too?

Without all these subsequent events.

Therefore, Shane didn't think there was anything to regret.

Lilith, however, still felt a great deal of self-bla, clinging tightly to Shane and refusing to loosen her grip.

This left Shane sowhat helpless, simply letting the little girl embrace him as he left the room with Lasha.

Upon leaving, Shane encountered two more people.

"At last, you're awake, Lord Hero."

Laischa was sitting in the living room drinking tea. Viewing Shane holding one and leading another by the hand, she comnted sowhat mockingly.

"Are you alright?"

Tielle was also present, sitting opposite Laischa, similarly sipping tea. Upon seeing Shane co out, she imdiately put down her teacup and cast a sowhat relieved look at him.

"Sorry for making you worry."

Shane shrugged his shoulders and approached the two girls.

The next second, Shane imdiately turned his attention to Tielle.

"Are you alright?" Shane looked at Tielle and said, "Lasha told you seed to have taken quite a few injuries."

"It's just minor injuries." Tielle said calmly, "William Lefirut didn't strike with full force; it seems he wanted to enjoy torturing slowly."

"Torture..." Shane narrowed his eyes and said, "If I had known that trash would suddenly show up, I should have dragged him out and finished him off when I was destroying the Lefirut Family."

"You did finish him off, right?" Laischa glanced at Shane and said, "But what you killed was his avatar; his real body has many avatars."

Obviously, during this month in the Imperial City, Laischa had also discovered William's Unique Skill with her abilities.

"If it hadn't been for his own foolishness, leading to Moro discarding him as a tool, it wouldn't have been so easy to completely deal with him."

Laischa said so.

Regrettably, William had fully brought his own downfall, basically digging his own grave to Hell.

Perhaps, his targeting of Tielle had sealed his fate.

It might have been an interference caused by the "Blessing of the Goddess of Fate."

That Person had already t the most tragic end of his life; talking about him further was pointless.

"By the way." Shane rembered sothing and asked Tielle, "After that, did you manage to find your horn?"

Shane hadn't forgotten that this was Tielle's original purpose in coming to the Imperial City.

She ca here hoping to find the horn that had been cut off by her birth mother.

Now, this goal seed to have ended without issue.

"My horn might no longer exist." Tielle's eyes flickered as she spoke in a low voice, "That day, it seed like Moro had done sothing with my horn."

Because Moro had ascended high into the sky at that ti and was constantly bombarding the Imperial Palace with a storm of Death Qi, including Shane, no one saw what Moro was actually doing.

Tielle didn't know that at that ti, Moro had used his own horn as a substitute for himself, to create a separate body for the sacrifice, and Shane also didn't know what Moro had done, which led to his sudden possession of power at the Transcendence Realm.

Of course, with the Perception skill of "Outer Destiny," Shane was still able to sense that at that ti, Moro had launched so large-scale magic ceremony and used the power of that ceremony to trap Lilith, thereby fulfilling the prophecy of the empire.

The sky was indeed obscured by darkness at that ti, and the earth had turned a crimson red; these, Shane could not have missed.

Then, atop this land, sothing was awakened and fell into Moro's hands.

"The Branch of Resurgence... huh?"

Shane murmured in a low voice.

It was probable that this artifact called the Branch of Resurgence was the reason Moro suddenly had the power of Transcendence.

"Can that object enable a person to break the limits of life and enter into Transcendence?"

Shane didn't know for sure.

But he knew that Moro must have achieved so purpose.

Fortunately, that guy had already been killed by himself.

Just, where did that so-called Branch of Resurgence go now?

As Shane thought this, he gathered his thoughts and returned to the original issue.

"So, your horn is missing?"

Shane asked this with deep regret.

If Tielle's horn really was lost forever, it would probably be a great regret for Tielle?

After all, that might be the only way for Tielle to freely control her Unique Skill.

If it's truly irretrievable, that would be a significant loss.

However, as Shane regretted this, Tielle shook her head.

"My original horn is indeed missing, but to say that I gained nothing at all from it wouldn't be true either."

Said Tielle abruptly.

"Gain?"

Shane was montarily stunned.

"Don't worry about it," Tielle pondered for a mont, then said to Shane, "I'm still confirming it, I'll tell you once I've confird."

Tielle seed a bit uncertain.

"Alright," Shane nodded and said, "If there's any issue, let know anyti, don't act recklessly on your own this ti."

Hearing this, Tielle raised her head, looked at Shane's serious expression, and, after a mont, nodded heavily, signaling understanding.

At this mont, Lasha spoke up again.

"You know, rather than these matters, there's a more troubleso situation that needs addressing, right?" said Lasha, supporting her cheek, looking at Shane with a half-smiling face, "Don't forget, your identity has now been completely exposed."

That schadenfreude expression made Shane want to hamr a fist onto her head.

But before that, Lasha also spoke up.

"The recent movents of the Demon Clan are sowhat concerning," Lasha said very calmly, "Mr. Shane, if you plan to go out, rember to be careful."

"I know," Shane replied with a smirk, seemingly unconcerned.

However, Shane took this warning to heart.

With his identity already exposed, the movents of the Demon Clan have indeed beco a matter of concern.

"I wonder how that Dragon Girl who returned to the Demon Realm is doing now."

Shane sighed.

With his identity exposed, if the Demon Clan acted, that little girl should also be starting to make her moves, right?

He wondered what she would do.

Shane couldn't help but recall that last night in the Elf Country, on the rooftop of the treehouse, he passionately kissed her.

Thinking back, Shane truly missed that Dragon Girl.

"It's only been a few days since we parted..."

Shane couldn't help but smile bitterly.

It had only been a few days, and probably, even that girl wouldn't have expected his identity to be exposed as soon as she left.

One could only say that the world is unpredictable.

"As for the matters regarding the Demon Clan, we'll think of ways to deal with them later," Shane said, "Right now, I want to make a trip to the Imperial Palace."

According to what Lasha said, the situation at the Imperial Palace seed not too good.

Especially Harvis, his condition was incredibly bad, leaving Cappelen very worried.

Shane wanted to go there first.

As hosts, after cleaning the battlefield, there might be a chance of discovering sothing.

Regarding this, Tielle offered no opinion, remaining silent.

Lasha seed not very concerned about this matter either; she glanced at Shane and then at Lasha, seemingly deep in thought.

Lilith, anwhile, kept clinging to Shane, unwilling to leave him, and only after much persuasion from Shane was she reluctantly handed over to Lasha.

Thus, Shane left the Bigusler Family, heading in the direction of the Imperial Palace.
