Chapter 602: 549 The Demon Spirit in Trouble_2

Shane thus spoke.

“I hope you won’t do anything rash.”

Upon hearing this, Sophie had not yet had the chance to express her stance when Leiya and Nia beca angry.

“Exactly who is acting irrationally here?”

“How could you treat us and the entire Taiger Forest like this after we received you with such courtesy?”

Leiya and Nia made strong condemnations.

Sophie also wore a stern face, staring intently at Shane as if hoping to get an explanation.

Unfortunately, Shane wasn’t in the mood to say much.

“I’ll only say this,” Shane said indifferently, “The Demon Spirit has appeared.”

At those words, Sophie and her two companions were imdiately shaken to the core.

“What…!?”

Leiya was greatly dismayed.

“It’s impossible!”

Nia reflexively cried out.

“Demon Spirit…?”

Sophie was stunned, her beautiful face showing an unprecedented confusion.

In her heart, a past too painful to recall was rcilessly unearthed.

It was from before Sophie beca queen.

Thousands of years prior, as a mber of the Elf Royal Family, Sophie had been confird as the next queen, but at that ti, she was not yet independent.

Her Level was less than thirty.

Her Magic had just begun its practice.

Back then, she was innocent, pure and romantic, her heart full of dreams for the future.

She eagerly anticipated standing on her own as soon as possible, becoming the true queen of the elves, leading the Elf Clan to prosperity.

She longed for an end to the war, for the Nature Goddess she worshipped to manifest before her and grant her the long-desired Blessing, to replace the blessing upon her.

For this reason, she diligently studied Magic, increased her Level, perfected herself, and also tried to help those around her to grow.

However, the wanton acts of the Demon Spirit Clan pushed the Elf Clan to the brink, and a war that would determine the existence of both races erupted from the conflict and contradictions between them.

In that war, the Elf Clan won, and the Demon Spirit Clan was defeated.

Yet, the Elf Clan paid a heavy price.

For instance, the death of the previous Elf Queen.

Another, her own sacrifice.

And then, being targeted by that evil being, leading to the various tragedies that befell her.

These were the shadows Sophie did not wish to bring up, nor did she even want to think back on.

Recalling those shadows from that ti, Sophie couldn’t help but embrace her own arms.

“It’s impossible… impossible…”

She murmured.

“The Demon Spirits have been annihilated, gone, haven’t they…?”

This was less a rebuttal and more a ek hope.

But Shane rcilessly tore it apart.

“As I’ve said, she is the last Demon Spirit in this world, an existence that narrowly escaped disaster thousands of years ago,” Shane revealed without any reservation. “I will drag her out, so I must resort to so extraordinary asures. In any case, you just watch.”

These words left Leiya and Nia looking at one another, at a loss for what to do.

Sophie bit her lip, asking a question.

“What is the na of that Demon Spirit?”

Sophie already had an answer in her heart.

If there had been soone capable of fortunately escaping disaster in the war thousands of years ago, it could only be that Demon Spirit.

That Demon Spirit who had toyed with her, nearly killed her, trampled everything about her.

Only she could have possibly escaped disaster.

The only reason being that on the day of the war, that Demon Spirit was with her.

To strip her of everything.

“What is the na of that Demon Spirit?”

“What is her na?”

Sophie kept asking this question as if lost in thought.

But Shane had already stopped paying attention to her.

Shane was just gazing at the Taiger Forest, now completely engulfed by Evil Energy.

“That Demon Spirit must still be in the Taiger Forest.”

“Since she’s in the Taiger Forest, she’ll inevitably be consud by Lilith’s Evil Energy.”

“With her powers, she should be able to withstand the Evil Energy for so ti.”

In such a situation, in order not to be eroded by the Evil Energy, she will definitely try to leave the Taiger Forest as quickly as possible.

But if she wants to leave the Taiger Forest quickly, she will certainly be unable to hide her tracks any longer.

In that case…

“With the suggestion of the Authority granted by Lilith, nurous Berserk Demons in Taiger Forest will definitely discover her whereabouts.”

“By that ti, she will be attacked by these Berserk Demons and will be forced to fight.”

“The aftermath of the battle will surely be noticed by those three.”

“After all, in the current Taiger Forest, the berserk demons won’t fight each other; their target will only be that Demon Spirit.”

Of course, Taiger Forest is so vast; it’s not necessarily only filled with demons.

Perhaps, so are there for hunting demons, in search for the Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures within the forest, and thus have entered this part of Taiger Forest.

Furthermore, with Lide and Milu dealing with the demonic underlings resulting from the Demon Refining Ceremony, there must still be other beings besides demons in Taiger Forest, and not just a few.

But they would be the sa, either going berserk, influenced by the implication of Lilith’s authority, only aiming for that Demon Spirit, or using their own thods to resist the Evil Energy, surely too preoccupied to fight, only wishing to leave the forest as soon as possible.

Under these circumstances, with the capabilities of those three, detecting the Evil Power of that Demon Spirit and finding it shouldn’t be too difficult.

At worst, they could lock down the entire Taiger Forest, letting that Demon Spirit go berserk in the Evil Energy until it ets its demise.”

“Want to play a ga, don’t you?”

“The ga starts now.”

“However, I’m the host, I set the rules and the content of the ga.”

“I’ll see if you can still be so happy, so excited.”

Shane was ready to strike at any mont.

As soon as there was news, he would rush over imdiately.

At the sa ti, Sophie and her group also realized that things had beco irreversible.

“…Send the word down.”

Sophie was silent for a while, then spoke out with a grave voice,

“Order everyone from the Elf Clan not to step out of the Barrier today.”

Sophie issued such a command.

It ant that Sophie had compromised.

“What about us?”

“What should we do?”

Leiya and Nia couldn’t help but voice their inquiries.

Sophie closed her eyes.

Then…

“Tell Carol to have the Elf Corps on standby at all tis.”

Sophie’s voice reached Leiya and Nia’s ears.

“We’ll join this battle.”

Yes.

Join.

Must join.

Whether it’s because of the vendetta between the Elf Clan and the Demon Spirit Clan, or because of her own connection with that Demon Spirit, Sophie had to partake in this battle.

“This ti, I won’t let you escape.”

“Magie.”

Sophie made up her mind like this.

But, it was of no use.

Because, Shane would personally take care of that Demon Spirit.

There was no doubt about it

“Boom!”

In the ancient forest engulfed by Evil Energy, suddenly, an explosion sound echoed without warning.

“Ga!”

“Roar!”

Several maddened demons were blown away by the pitch-black lightning, crashing into the ground with bodies charred and entwined with deadly curses, twitching for a few monts before lying still.

“Ugh…”

The appearance of a Demon Spirit cloaked in a black robe, holding a Magic Wand, seed on the brink of collapse, breathing with so distress.

Around its body, dark curtains flickered, shielding it from the invasion of Evil Energy.

“Damn it…”

Magie’s face looked terrible.

“Such terrible Evil Energy, even Upper Level Defense Magic can hardly fully resist it, and after fighting, the corruption by Evil Energy intensifies even more, at this rate, it won’t be long before I beco like these demons and go berserk.”

Magie indeed realized the severity of the situation.

So, as Shane had predicted, she was also in a hurry to retreat from Taiger Forest.

But in such a rush, how could she possibly conceal her tracks?

Therefore, she had already been smoothly discovered by the demons, subsequently facing several waves of attacks.

Magie knew that all this was the handiwork of that Evil God.

Only that Evil God could commit such terrifying and dreadful acts.

She also knew that the other party was doing this, most likely aid at her.

“Turning the entire Taiger Forest into a hell just to target ?”

“That’s ruthless, Shane Beizitu.”

“I underestimated you.”

Magie’s gaze flickered.
