Chapter 595: 543 “Only this matter, I cannot tolerate.

The pitch-dark passage beca a realm of deathly silence.

Three enormous Refined Demon corpses lay in pools of blood, their life force ebbing away.

Yet in the darkness, unbeknownst to when, another colossal figure had appeared.

It gazed at the corpses of the Refined Demons on the ground, and the next second, without any hesitation, it hunched over them.

It was feeding.

The corpses of the Refined Demons lying in the blood were being devoured bite by bite, gradually losing their original forms.

This process did not last long.

Shortly after, it had devoured all the flesh and blood of the Refined Demons, leaving only the conspicuous blood strewn across the ground.

Then, it turned and left.

On its body, a terrifying aura flashed briefly, invoking fear.

“Whoosh!”

With a sound of air being split, Shane’s figure appeared out of the void, like a phantom, materializing instantly.

“Gone?”

His eyebrows knitted together, Shane scanned the surroundings.

He had now arrived at a vast cavern that resembled a square.

The walls around the cavern were riddled with passages leading to other places, making it look like a beehive.

“Planning to use a labyrinth to escape?”

Shane took a deep breath.

At this mont, Lide, who was lying on his head, finally spoke up.

“You better be careful,” Lide advised sowhat, saying, “That Angel Envoy was obviously trying to provoke you and deliberately lured you in; if you don’t stay calm, you might fall into her trap.”

Lide was much calr than Shane.

“I know,” Shane replied impassively, “But there’s no way around it. This is the one thing I can’t tolerate.”

Although he was impulsive, Shane had to take action to show others how angry it made him when soone dared to harm those close to him.

Otherwise, do they really think he has no temper?

Of course…

“By doing this, you’re also telling others about your weakness,” Lide sighed, saying, “Knowing you care so much about people close to you, those smug opportunists will surely target them first if they want to deal with you.”

Clearly, Lide still thought Shane was being too impulsive.

But Shane had no intention of changing his mind.

“Ever since I connected with you guys, a lot of people thought they couldn’t deal with ,” Shane said with a hint of annoyance, “Just like you said, those guys are just opportunists with little real ability who want a lot. As long as they don’t want to give up, don’t want to lose those things, they will eventually target people close to .”

Even if Shane was strong, he was still human and couldn’t be with others all the ti, personally protecting them.

In that case…

“At least, show enough strength to deter most cowards, so they wouldn’t dare act rashly.”

This was sothing Shane had co to understand when he decided to deal with the Lucica Family in the Royal Capital.

So…

“Don’t stop ,” Shane said indifferently, “You can’t stop anyway.”

Upon hearing this, Lide fell silent.

After a while, the Beast Demon finally relaxed.

“Since it’s sothing you’ve decided on your own, naturally I won’t stop you,” Lide said, looking at Shane, “Besides, from an emotional standpoint, I actually quite approve of your approach.”

If soone tried to harm those close to her, Lide believed she would certainly be uncontrollably furious.

The difference was that she might consider more factors, thus forcing herself to stay calm and not act on a whim, while Shane, regardless of everything, followed his heart, turning his anger into action.

From a rational point of view, Shane’s approach was naturally not favored.

But who would want to constantly suppress their emotions, be forced into being calm, and rationally deal with things?

Therefore, Lide actually admired Shane and even envied him.

At first glance, as a Demon, she seed stronger and more terrifying than Shane, but who knows – the higher one’s position, the less freedom they have?

As one of the pinnacles of the Demon Clan and the third eldest sister among the Demon Sisters, Lide had to consider more and adopt a more rational approach to matters.

Shane, however, was not bound by these restraints. He did whatever he wanted, which might seem too impulsive and reckless to so, but in reality, this initiative was sotis quite enviable.

Thus, Lide no longer said anything.

Shane did not express anything more either, rely glancing around before closing his eyes.

He was focusing his spirit, expanding and spreading out the power of his “Outer Destiny” perception.

In such circumstances, Shane felt as if he had returned to the day of the fierce battle with Aridia.

He sensed the wind.

He felt the flow of the atmosphere.

In the cavern, the unique evil power of the Demon Refining Ceremony wandered, omnipresent.

This significantly hindered Shane’s perception and had allowed that “Primordial Demon” Angel Envoy to escape.

However, the opponent had clearly underestimated Shane’s perceptive abilities.

Before long, Shane discovered a trace of an aura from the surroundings, one that was sowhat familiar yet also uncomfortable – a signature of the other party.

“Is it this way?”

Shane opened his eyes, turned his head, and looked at one of the passageways.

“Whoosh!”

The next mont, Shane instantly teleported away again, disappearing from this spot.

“Whoosh!”

In the silence of the darkness, at a certain mont, the sound of the air being torn was heard again.

Shane’s figure appeared, landing on the ground and looking around.

This place was a vast cavern as well, with a very high ceiling, like a great wind hole, where the wind howled.

However, there were no nurous hive-like passageways here, only a crystal-clear pool.

When Shane appeared through instant movent, an apostle cloaked in black was running toward the pool.

“Ah, I’ve been found.”

Magie seed to sense the movent behind her, turned around, and faced Shane, the corners of her mouth beneath her hood curling slightly.

“You found much faster than I estimated, rather impressive for a human who mingles with demons and evil gods all the ti, surprisingly excellent and strong. No wonder even the Princess of the Kingdom was captivated by you.”

Magie teased, winking at Shane with a charming smile.

“I’m almost smitten with you too, Count Beizut. Would you consider taking in? No man has ever touched , you know?”

Her seductive voice reached Shane’s ears, stirring a hint of wickedness in his heart.

Yet, Shane was unusually indifferent to the flirtatious temptation.

Because the other party was attempting to sway Shane’s heartstrings with so unknown power.

But under the defense of “Inner Destiny,” it was nothing.

“Flying Star!”

Without uttering a word, Shane cast the spell, creating countless stars flickering around him, transforming into a shower of teor rain that bombarded Magie.

Magie’s coquettish voice halted.

“It’s the long-lost Celestial Magic…!?”

As expected, Magie was not surprised.

But quickly, Magie reacted, flipping her hand and grabbing a magic wand.

A dark magic power surged out from the Primordial Demon.

“Black Curtain!”

Magie lifted her wand, unleashing a drag of magic power that turned into a curtain of darkness, shielding her front.

The stars raining down like a torrential downpour struck the dark curtain, causing ripples and then vanishing.

Shane narrowed his eyes at this familiar magic.

“Dark Magic?”

It was indeed the magic used by Beddo of the old Demon Clan’s Slaughterer Faction.

And that power affecting the mind just now, could it be…

“Spirit Magic?”

Shane speculated and used his “Outer Destiny” ability to perform an Identification on the opponent.

This Identification surprised Shane.

This apostle nad Magie possessed “Magic·Dark,” “Magic·Spirit,” and “Magic·Gravity” – three magic skills in total, and all three were close to the maximum Level 9, just one step short of Level 10.

And her Level was incredibly high, reaching ninety-eight, on the sa level as Aridia.

“Soone like you is just an apostle in the Primordial Demon?”

Shane was genuinely surprised.

Watching Shane’s reaction and listening to his remarks, Magie knew her power had been seen through.

“Being able to discern my Level, your Identification Skill must be maxed out, right?” Magie chuckled lightly, seemingly unfazed, “But unfortunately, I am indeed just an apostle in the Primordial Demon. Although I consider myself not the weakest among the Twelve Apostles, the three Great Apostles above are even more terrifying. They either have special talents or possess fearsoly powerful Unique Skills that cannot be countered rely by having a high Level.”

The information that Magie casually or perhaps intentionally revealed made Lide’s expression darken.

Because the Primordial Demon was too mysterious, too good at hiding, nobody knew what kind of people were within and what level of strength they possessed.

Now, the tip of the iceberg revealed by Magie about the strength of the Primordial Demon was enough to give a glimpse into its formidable power.

Could it be that all twelve apostles were legendary fighters like Magie?

This was indeed a terrifying thought.

One must know that a thousand years ago, the entire Human Race had to exert all its strength just to muster thirteen legendary heroes. If the twelve apostles of the Primordial Demon were all legendary, wouldn’t that an they possessed a combat force comparable to the thirteen heroes?

Although, each of the Thirteen Heroes was a powerful figure among the legendary, each at least Level 95. Those below Level 95 didn’t dare to stand up and resist Lide in that battle; there were certainly more than thirteen legendary fighters in the Human Race. Still, the fact that the Primordial Demon had twelve legendary fighters was terrifying.

Unable to help herself, Lide spoke out.

“Don’t let her escape, lad Shane, she’s our opportunity to understand the Primordial Demon.”

Lide didn’t want to miss this chance to learn about the Primordial Demon.

But before Shane could respond, Magie laughed.

“Then let experience it myself.”

Magie raised her wand high.

“Enmity Lightning!”

Imdiately, a pitch-black magical power filled the air.
